  1. Yes -looking forward to seeing photos and even hear a step by step account every story helps those who need help with decision making
  2. Who was the surgeon who performed the procedure for Longevita?
  3. Just wondering how you are doing now and have you managed to get things sorted. Hope so. Regards, Campbell.
  4. Is this the doctor (Ali Emre Karadeniz) who works for Longevita in Istanbul now?
  5. Longevity have said to me that they will take debit\credit card but will charge 4% of the total , so on ?2000 that's ?80 extra to pay by card. A bit off putting isn't it when paying a few thousand, then paying for travel there. Then paying to get to the clinic from your hotel. All adds up. But I would never pay ' in cash.'
  6. I think the lead surgeon in HT at Longevita is a Dr Ali Emre Karadeniz. Anyone familiar with him and his work?
  7. How have things developed Andalusia? Regards, Campbell.
  8. Early days really to comment, but brilliant that you've been so proactive to go & have the surgery (that alone 'I think' takes 'a lot' of bottle and conviction!) and with everyone here who has gone through surgery, it shows people who are prepared to go out there and take control & make changes. Looking forward to hearing a full report on the journey and the service you received and an idea of cost too. Again good luck over the coming year!
  9. Nope - I've heard nothing (just to update this thread) so it seems something of a dead duck in the water now. Shame really.
  10. I asked the Customer Services girl study the questions that I asked during the online texting session and email me the answers. So hopefully that will happen. I see that the company MD was on the forum in relation to another matter. I may very well go through him as its a pretty good entry point for getting good results I would have thought.

  12. Thankyou for all of this as it helps me make a more informed decision. I am looking towards Turkey for treatment (balance of geography, skill and cost). Just been in touch with Longevita via online chat with a CSR there. I have 'lingering' doubts following the conversation and also from reading feedback on the forum here from clients who have had procedures in Turkey with Longevita. Jury's out on this one right now. Regards, Campbell.
  13. This has thrown me into a quandry. I've just been in contact with LONGEVITA (One of their customer service reps via internet chat), and I finished rather disconcerted (maybe there was a language barrier but the girl said she was from London). Anyway, same offer as the chap above came through. 1650 Euros for AS MANY GRAFTS as can be harvested in one session. Girl said this could take up to 8 hours. Includes the PRP Plasma to aid recovery, your accomodation (at this price it was in the hospital but with all meals..etc) and flights from anywhere in the UK. If it looks like it's TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, then often it is (my Dad used to quip). I asked 'standard' questions about where the surgeon would be during the procedure (doing it? or nearby with assistants doing it?). How would they assess my needs, my hairline..etc. What was their idea of the maximum grafts? 5000 IN ONE GO - says 'she.' I say...'I don't think so!' Due to the head trauma and implants not taking properly. But YES...5000 she confirmed. I was also advised that it I opted for THE PROFESSOR then he/she was more experienced with better results. So of course I asked..." Well what results am I likely to get if it's done by one of the other surgeons on your list?" No answer. She said it was A GREAT DEAL...and my reply was..."It's only a 'great deal' if the results are 'great!' The PRICE is marvellous, but I just have warning bells going in the back of my head on this one. Now I've read some of the pieces in this thread, I'm really worried and concerned about this company. I want to get it right FIRST TIME and I want to be in the hands of someone who does what they say they are going to do and have the experience, knowledge and specialism to come up with the goods. No one wants to be butchered, and I have these worries now having read all this, I 'really' do... Any advice welcome guys
  14. This is all very useful information, thanks guys. - Campbell.
  15. Hi Gents! it's now quite a few months down the line from when some of you went to Turkey for the HT's. How's it going now..? Who has also since been to Turkey? and any photos and feedback on the experience? Thanks in advance! (I saw the Longevita advert in an EasyJet magazine!). Regards, Campbell.
  16. I'm so glad I asked this question, as it's a major feature and probably the most visible feature of one's hairline. Thankyou 'all' for the input and advice - I appreciate it.
