  1. Looks fantastic, you have a lot of thickening and growth left too, solid base @Steeeve 🙏
  2. Dr. Konior is a pioneer. Dr. Gabel is his protégé, someone to also consider. But there really are numerous good surgeons.
  3. It's a nice improvement. I found that the lower border of my crown improved the most. I think it's because that hair was the most salvageable.
  4. The closest in Europe would be Farmacia Parati, but the Siloxysystem gel is patented, so no other company can reproduce it. But I believe Farmacia Parati is still high quality.
  5. Forgot to timestamp it, but he talks about doing a trial at 32:48.
  6. He probably didn't answer because it is up to you. He can't say whether you should or you shouldn't. That depends on your goals. If you wouldn't like the appearance of beard hair on your scalp, proceeding with surgery where most of the hair will be beard hair isn't advisable. But other patients are happy. You have keep your expectations in check. It is impossible to provide anything close to a full head of hair with scalp hair in your case.
  7. You might be in the running for best HT category for 2024.
  8. Great job Al thanks for doing this 👏
  9. Hattingen is a top clinic in Switzerland, Dr. Muresanu is actually having consultations in London next week. Not sure where you're from, but definitely worth checking him out.
  10. Wow this looks great even at 6 months shaved down 👍🏼
  11. Personally, I wouldn’t do it. It depends, if you always shave and never wear your beard, then I guess you wouldn’t miss it. But I would not exchange my beard for hair on my head. Also, the hair on your head will look like beard hair. There’s less blending with scalp hair. Beard hair works best when mixed with at least 70% scalp hair. Out of 10,000 grafts, only 3,000 from beard looks best. This will make it so the beard hair is almost undetectable.
  12. Its my assumption he’s been probably been refunded. If he hasn’t posted it’s probably because he signed something in exchange for a refund.
  13. Dude you look like a hair model. One of the best repairs Ive seen in a long time. In my opinion, blending it was the right move. It looks amazing. The scar looks invisible too.
  14. Yes that’s the one, except mine is scented. If you’re really that concerned use dermmatch and fibers combined. But this will ONLY work with dark pillow covers.
  15. Dr. Koniors work is impeccable. Look at how clean it looks.
  16. Sure, @Hans - Webmaster please see what you can set up. Perhaps we can get rid of a sub section with no traffic.
  17. You have to keep realistic expectations. Given the difficulty of your case. Im sure it will improve but I wouldn’t expect something radically different. You should consider using fibers once you have a base.
  18. I would like to know @Dr. Felipe Pittella input on some of these comments.
  19. As of today, it calculates the hair miniaturization index (HMI), meaning the hair that is miniaturized in a particular cm2 surface area. However, this gets tricky with patients that are still losing hair like diffuse hair loss patterns or lower Norwoods. It may pick up the natural progression of miniaturization that isn’t indicative of a poor result. But I believe in the future it will be able to count all the hairs to the number. At that point, it’s off to the races IMO. Because then you will be able to have undeniable data about the success of the result. It will undoubtedly help patients and surgeons. For those surgeons who achieve high success but find patients still dissatisfied, they will have data to support the success of their procedure. On the other hand, patients will be able to present their case of dissatisfaction with proof if the growth is subpar. No more guessing. But it’s still a ways from that.
