  1. Initially I felt like my crown thinned a little from starting it (shed maybe) but then it thickened up nicely and I feel like it’s working well. I think the positive results I noticed about 8-10 weeks in.
  2. I used topical min for a year and it was really good to be fair. Then I switched to oral Min and I’ve been on that for a further 12 months. I would say the results were better on the topical but the oral is defo helping (slow but steady progress).
  3. I wouldn’t want the hairline itself lowered, just the ‘peak’. I would say the temporal points could also use another 100 grafts or so each side to bring them out slightly. Then finally another 500 grafts packed throughout as a 3rd pass for additional density. The above work is certainly not needed and I’m in no rush to get it done but maybe in the future. We’ll see. With regard to symmetry, due to the way the hair growths it gives the illusion that it’s still slightly off IMO but we are talking extremely fine margins. I may get my mate to do another CAD assessment on it at some point 😂. My next priority would be to get my patchy beard filled in.
  4. Looking great. My only criticism would be that he should have put some hairs in the mid scalp where you’re a little thin. He said something about not wanting transplant between existing hairs didn’t he?? Not sure why.
  5. @Melvin- Admin any chance of getting this set up?
  6. Greta hairline but temple points could defo be improved (too straight currently). IMO a 2nd pass over the whole thing is worth it for an ‘optimal’ result so you can tie that in with the revisit on the temples.
  7. Amazing what can be done with such a low amount of grafts! This probably would have been 4000 grafts in a hair mill! looking like a top result
  8. Dr Ferreira implanted hairs in between the grafts from the 1st transplant. It didn’t cause any shock loss what so ever but I guess it all depends on the skill of the surgeon in that regard. My density is good but i still feel like the actual ‘widows peak’ of the hairline could be dropped 1.5mm lower and shifted 1.5mm across! Then some additional density could be added to the part of the hairline that was slightly lowered last time (that section has obviously only had one pass). To be honest, the perfect result is hard to achieve but possible with 3 passes! Need to consider at some stage though if hair greed is at play lol Yours is looking good and will be a top result.
  9. Can I ask what the procedure was with regard to designing the hairline shape and symmetry? Did he do this by eye or did he use any kind of measuring apparatus to find the centre etc?
  10. I don’t think this is a bad result but defo requires a touch up to add some refinement and density on the left hand side. IMO it’s hard to get the desired density from a single pass regardless. I would go back to HLC and get them to improve the result (which they should offer to do for free).
  11. Great result. Exceptional value for money.
  12. Absolutely love the hairline design. This will be a top notch result.
  13. Wow! So sorry to see this! That has got to be the worst surgery I’ve seen done. 500 grafts to cover that area - his planning was clearly deluded!! Wtf was he thinking!? This must be one of his first times doing the surgery surely?! This is a perfect example of what can happen when you don’t do your research. At least you have found this site and can plan for a proper repair job and a good clinic. I wish you well getting it sorted my friend.
