  1. Do you know your density on the front and donor area, Mosd? I see no reason to touch the front, but you'd be able to do the temples with 300 to 400 grafts. Your hair is slightly wavy so you'll save donor resources, and you should gain a huge effect in coverage value. Your commitment to the medication is the most important aspect of doing any surgery.
  2. Hi. Thanks for sharing. How long were you at the clinic for 1250 FUE?
  3. Try trimming it all down in a way that fades the emptiness on the left side. Normally, regrowth of the donor area will depend on the doctor's preparation method of graft removal. Depending on what was done, you could be experiencing a 'normal' condition, or you may be seeing some effects from trauma. Do you have any immediate post-op donor area photos? 4. I understand your view point on these minor hair loss cases. Many individuals' priorities and goals change after each procedure. The more hair on the frontal, the more obvious temple recession seems to be.
  5. Given your preferences, I can see a minor issue arising from this noticeable inconsistency. The surgeon may want you to wait for some unknown reason. Your were released from the care of the clinic, however, you have a specific objective and you should be appropriately accommodated based on this fact. You are unfinished, mate. You are unhappy at 10 days, and I am unhappy with your disposition. This aspect in the analytical process has been misunderstood by the physician. Request that they provide you multiple options for amicable resolution.
  6. Hi. Have you made any conclusions? I'd like to know what you decide, if possible. Thanks
  7. Torn. I might go for a test of plug removal so that you know what to expect. You need an in-person consultation to determine what the ideal treatment should be. Do not get only one consultation at a proven corrective hair transplant clinic. Many doctors can't actually perform repair to the degree that you need. The end result may require a combination of both removal and camouflage and not necessarily in one specific order. Consider the loss of density if you do pursue removal. Remember that you need to decide whether you want a more natural appearance and or possibly having less density should you require a small degree of plug removal. What are your goals for working around them? What are your primary goals? Do you have available donor resources if regrowth becomes a factor in your hair transplant journey? Thanks for sharing your story.
  8. Unfortunately, finasteride cannot actually stop your hair loss. Finasteride only reduces the level (approx. 69%) of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) in your blood and on your scalp. Getting regrowth with finasteride is not easily obtained.
  9. Speechless... You are looking very good and congratulations on the results.
  10. It's important for the patient to know this information, but only for the reason of ensuring that the performing clinic is competent. This factual information is the responsibility of the clinic to recognize for patients because it is their responsibility to produce the surgical results. Studying is a continual process and without studying all aspects of a surgical protocol, no progress can be made to further improve the results, techniques, and patient care process. I appreciate this thread for its excellent information.
  11. How long have you been noticing the recession, Maccabe10? Have you begun using new products (e.g. shampoo) for hair maintenance?
  12. When was your first procedure? The latest depictions of 7-month results look acceptable as well as the regrowth percentage, about 40% of regrowth seems to be obvious. Thanks for sharing, Dds. You are looking much better so far.
  13. This may imply that your grafts will require some time, about 5 months is the timeline of observing regrowth. These new hairs will transition in hair cycles on their own time. Each hair grows in a specific cycle for a predetermined amount of time. The appearance of the regrowth will improve after the growth has mature. Matured regrowth is at its best after about 12 months. The performing clinic should be able to email you an in-depth explanation on what to expect. There are now many treatments that are available to expedite regrowth.
  14. The results should be the best indication of quality. Contacting patients and shopping around yields excellent dividends. Never pay too much or too little...
  15. It's too early to tell anything right now. The 6-month period is a point where you may possibly determine a definition for normal growth or appearance.
  16. Looks good, Glycerine. Great job with the post-op care!

  18. FoyKohler. Baby shampoo is gentle enough for 0 to 2-week old grafts. You should not have any issues with any hairspray or regular shampoo at this point (14 days post-op). Thanks for sharing.
  19. Hi Jolyon40. Happy one-month! The front and back can both be affected by shock loss. Hopefully the placement of the 3000 FUTs was in a safe zone proximity to preexisting hair and done at a reasonable density. Do you have dye in your hair at all? You may be seeing an illusion created by the effects of adding hair to the recently sparse recipient. You may have come to the realization that a noticeable percentage of the transplanted hair is now temporarily shedding to regrow. The surgery photos may be useful for reference, but they also help determine what you could be noticing. Hopefully this response was helpful in some way.
  20. This patient came to our clinic in hopes of having a more aesthetically pleasing frontal hairline. The previous clinic placed large hair grafts during a strip procedure. After removing these multi-hair grafts, Dr. Patrick Mwamba redistributed them onto the front. The nature of repair is more complex than the traditional hair transplant. In this case, a second procedure is warranted to increase the density. Here are the results at six months post-op.
  21. Here's a photo of the donor area that shows this patient's healing results. Not only are hair transplant results up top but they are all around. The patient is proud to see the benefits from hair transplant surgery at MyWHTC in Brussels, Belgium. Happy holidays!
  22. This seems to be an accurate representation of 4,000 grafts. Where is the doctor located?
