  1. I am also interested about the the situation of this Doctor. Is he still recommended? Thanks in advance.
  2. David, Out of curiosity, does this apply to recommended physicians as well?
  3. Why weren't more grafts extracted via FUT? Does your clinic believe that mega sessions (5000+ grafts) compromise yield? Finally, What is the average FUE yield rate of your clinic? Thanks in advance!
  4. Dear Dr. Feller, As someone who is still doing research about the possibility of having a hair transplant, I believe that it would be educational and beneficial to all of us if you could invite TOP FUE surgeons to the forum in order to further discuss the disadvantages of FUE, including poor yield. This would allow us to have an open conversation where both sides get to present their ideas and knowledge. I am sincerely interested in what doctors such as Dr. Lorenzo, Dr. Feriduni and Dr. Erdogan have to say about these claims. Thank you in advance!
  5. What was the strategy behind using the strip technique when so few grafts were transplanted? Why not use the FUE technique in order to prevent the strip scar? Thanks in advance!
  6. BUSA was very direct, and honest, and he certainly didn't deserve to get banned. I actually agree with the comment that he left before getting banned: A FUT doctor who specializes in FUT usually does not perform FUE as well as a Doctor who specializes in FUE and has carried out 100s of mega sessions. What is controversial about this statement? I suppose that having an opinion and openly criticizing a doctor is against the terms and conditions of this site.
  7. I believe that he could have expressed himself in a more eloquent manner. Nonetheless, I do believe that his intentions were good, and he was only trying to help other members. His opinions were strong, but that is just what this industry needs. He spoke his mind, and in my opinion, oftentimes he was right.
  8. A Gold Standard technique shouldn't need a marketing strategy that highlights the weaknesses of the competing products in order to look more attractive on the market. Just look at the most popular phone on the market. It lets the quality do the talking. Perhaps this is why few FUE Doctors have bothered coming online to defend their technique and talent? The quality speaks for itself.
  9. I would imagine that it takes a very skilled doctor in order to have a vision, understand the technique perfectly, train high qualified technicians, oversee the entire process, and execute the vision. Wouldn't you say?
  10. Viewing Dr. Lorenzo's videos has certainly made me appreciate the artistry and absolute perfection that goes into performing an FUE hair transplant procedure. The consistency of these results show years of experience and total dedication in order to reach excellence. This is why I believe that very few are able to do it at this level. It really is a work of art when performed well. It must be difficult to reach this level without enough experience and absolute dedication.
  11. The result from the FUE procedure picture that you posted above seems to depict: 1) shock loss in the donor. 2) over harvesting. I have never seen a top surgeon like Dr. Lorenzo or Bisanga overharvest or leave such scars from an FUE procedure. Is this the FUE scarring that one can expect from your clinic?
  12. It's funny because many of the older doctors consistently present cases with photography that looks like something from the 80s. Contrast this with many of the younger surgeons like Dr. Erdogan, Dr. Bisanga, and Dr. Lorenzo who consistently showcase HD pictures and videos .
  13. What length do you estimate a person who had had a 10,000 MFUE procedure could keep his hair length at without the 550 MFUE scars being visible?
  14. It would be interesting to see the MFUE scarring on someone who had 10,000 grafts extracted. Something tells me that a strip scar would look better than 100s of uneven, spaced apart MFUE scars.
  15. I encourage you to start presenting your photos in HD with an accompanying comb through video. Please see H&W and Dr. Lorenzo's videos for inspiration. In 2015, this type of presentation is unacceptable - it doesn't necessarily illustrate how this patient looks in real life. Just my two cents.
  16. Some people have claimed that FUT does an excellent job in covering the frontal half but fails in covering the crown sufficiently. Why do you believe this to be the case? Dr. Feller, 1) Do you believe that large FUT procedures, on average, result in a wider strip scar? (i.e., 5000-7000 FUT) 2) Do you believe that 2-3 strip procedures will result in a wider scar vs just having one strip procedure? 3) Most NW 5-6 patients need around 8,000 -10,000 grafts. Assume that someone has 10000 grafts via FUE. How long must he keep his hair for the scars not to show? Thanks in advance, D
  17. There have been quite a few bad results from Doganay lately, so I would steer clear from him. Just my two cents. Here you go: Dr. Lorenzo Dr. Bisanga Dr. Feriduni Dr. Erdogan Dr. Mwamba Dr. Konior Best of luck to you!
  18. Really, the technique should be called mSTRIP. How exactly does this new technique modify FUE?
  19. Dr. Feller, Thank you for sharing this video. You mentioned that FUT has a better yield than FUE in your clinic. On average, what yield does your clinic get via the FUE method?
  20. Also, from the pictures, I would say a diffused NW5 going on 6.
  21. Hi Walker, To answer your last question, the consequences could be detrimental for several reasons: 1. Unnatural result - pluggy, incorrect graft distribution, requiring expensive repair work in the future. 2. Wasted donor - You have a large balding area and need every single graft. 3. Design - Design is important as it needs to look natural and take future loss into consideration. 4. Scar (FUE or FUT) - A hair transplant will always leave a scar. However, by going to an unknown surgeon, the risks of incompetence increase significantly. Finally, if a surgeon rejects you because of donor limitation, I would take this advice very seriously. The good news is that your hair is very short in the pictures so it may seem weaker than it actually is. I recommend an in-person consultation with a top Doctor. Have you considered Dr. Konior, Dr. Lorenzo, and Dr. Bisanga? Best of luck to you.
  22. Imagine putting an Accountant in charge of Human Resources and vice versa. I am certain both professionals would do fine in each others roles. However, statistics would surely indicate performance differences between the two professionals. Similarly, the same thing applies for the FUE and FUT methods. Take a top FUT surgeon, who has been performing FUT his entire life. Surely, the results have been impressive. It may even have earned him a membership to the HRN. The same principle applies to the FUE surgeon. Repetition and time create excellence. But what would happen if they were to switch places? Statistics would most likely indicate a performance drop of 20-30 %. Statistics between doctors who predominantly perform FUT with those who predominantly perform FUE cannot be compared for this simple reason. A FUT Doctor has not developed the same skill, experience, and expertise as someone who has been doing the same thing on a daily basis for many years.
  23. If I were you, I would stay away from permanent ink.
