  1. I remember when I was 7 back in 1984 seeing commercials for hairclub for men. We do have a modern miracle of science! Hairloss prevention in a pill. If you are 'lucky' it works. If you get sides effects, it will suck away your soul like a stripper girlfriend. Should be noted, both rogaine and propecia are "and it grows back here too?" happy accidents.
  2. You have sound advice (I feel) in here, no body is going to say what you want to hear. You don't want to buzz it, because it will look bad You don't want get "another ht" because your worried aboout future loss You don't want to "lazer" the grafts because of scaring You don't want to just remove the grafts... not sure why You don't want to wait and you don't want to move forward. The only thing you haven't said, is what you really want what you really really want.. IT SOUNDS, like you want "another HT".. you keep coming back to wanting to improve your hair. so Mr. Future Doc, was correct, . or challange yourself, and try out a hair piece. It will give you the exactly kind of hair and look you want.
  3. I believe Dr. Umar would do exactly what you want. Take those nasty dirty barely legal grafts out. Have you reach out with Jana with the Shapiro group? What are these doctors saying? No its not possible? Or they will only do "another HT"? As previously mention, because your just removing grafts, the 10,000 is not a realistic price. If the avg FUE graft is 5, I'm sure you can go less then that, if all a doctor is doing is pulling the graft out; but I honestly don't know. You also might want to that with a different kind of head doctor . You post reads like this is taking a big toll on you I feel you would gain some huge insights if you were able to unload your worries with a professional.
  4. It is slightly humorous that Future HT Doc's answer is "another HT" : ) WherefromHere, I understand how you are feeling . I must have skipped over the parts where people talk about fine hair, and the "see through" look. However!! I would reach out Dr. Sanusi Umar, he seems to do things, and try things differently.
  5. "She prescribed to me a solution named Morr-F .It is 5% minoxidil and 0.1% finasteride." Interesting
  6. If you get sides, you need to stop. You can't power on through the sides, and the sides are not "psychological" We all know our own dicks really well. We know when we had to much to drink, or the chick is gross, or whatever. We know when our dick should be working but it isn't. If you get sides and keep taking the drug, you will end up dickless
  7. the results will speak for themselves. Come back and post updates
  8. I hear what you saying NOW, but there is no way I could have heard what you were saying before my first HT. I urge any person getting a HT, too buzz your hair down to a 1, just one time, to see how it looks.
  9. A very interesting case, and I want it to work out. Keep us updated Please
  10. There is one guy who posted here, went to them. He threw a couple of post up, reported some good experience. I also tried google the company and some of the docs. Difficult to gather any information. I have an appoint with Dr. Harris, see if you he can undo some of the damage from my 2nd HT. Maybe I will check out these guys as well.
  11. I would not tell her. I got fooled into being totally open and honest, and it just lead to arguments and fights.
  12. Thin hair.. that will get you every time. I feel most docs don't talk about that with their thin hair patients *** I am not a doctor and these opinions are my own. I actually flunked out of college because I couldn't write or spell. I represent no clinic. I only have a doctor picture so you will automatically trust in the things I say.

    From the album: 2HT

  14. +1 The use of SMP in the poor areas and scars You can go with the temporary SMP, and see how it works out.
  15. Financing is the American way. Plus if this procedure brings you quality of life, then go for it.
  16. NW5-NW6, I feel you are playing with fire going down this route. You have 4500 - 5000 donor?? As in you do not know. You need some more consultations. What are you looking to get? Front, the crown? Over all coverage? Is your hair curly, thick or fine, this was greatly impact your results. If your numbers are right, you will still need concealer if your looking for the "full look" I guess, I would like to know that picture you have of yourself when your HT is done. What do you look like? From there, people on this forum can help too see if that is possible.
  17. nativeremdies

See through, kinda pluggy, and planted.
  18. nativeremdies

If you have fine hair, you will have a see through look.
  19. What is your expected loss? What Norwood do you see yourself going too? Where were the grafts placed? Front? Crown? I get the feeling a 2HT would probably be worth it to you
  20. Amazing results. Education is the key.. That blog points out some of the potential pitfalls of a HT, that you would not read otherwise. People need to hear both sides of the equation, total cost honest expectations. Too often instead of learning form a negative experience, it is instead buried..
  21. "take photos and label the months so you can look back" Excellent advice. Agree 100%, compare your pre op pictures to where you are now.
