  1. Understood I totally feel you. I was left with a wide scar after HT 2. The doc didn't know why and unsympathetic. Though he did let me know his scar revision price. I was pissed, and still upset. If this scar revision fails or works with Colorado, I will reach out to you and see where you are at. If it does fail, I think I need staples instead of sutures. My head stretches. Still, I found Colorado Hair to be approachable accommodating and will offer to correct the procedure for free. Which after the doc with HT 2 is kind of clinic I needed

If this scar revision fails or works with Colorado, I will reach out to you and see where you are at. If it does fail, I will go under the knife again, maybe Dr. Konior. Insist on staples instead of sutures, maybe that's exactly what i need My head stretches. Still, I found Colorado Hair to be approachable accommodating and will offer to correct the procedure for free. Which after the doc with HT 2 is the kind of clinic I needed
  3. First HT was Rahal - 3000 - front Second was Lindsey - front 1500 (failed, large scar, bad experience) Third Colorado hair - front - 1500 Fourth Colorado hair - crown (fix scar) 1500 I had my 3rd surgery with Colorado hair and gave me exact what I wanted. They filled in the front so the hair line was less see through. I could tell right away that it was going to look good. Recently had a 4th surgery with Colorado hair to fill in the crown and fix my scar. I'm optimistic! Will post pics in two weeks. Then again in three months BoulderBalder i'm 100% confident Colorado hair will do a scar revision for free if it was something they did.
  4. Personally.... if it was me I would have re-enforced not lower the hair line. Curious what was Dr. Kleen's recommendation?
  5. If the meds can't stop the front then in the next five years it will be gone. You want to make sure you have the grafts in their to support what your going to lose. I would do all frontal 1/3 then light in the mid The back crown area I would leave untouched. Meds seems to be more effective on the crown, and you can still manage concealer in the back. Then your second or third procedure sprinkle the grafs in crown so you can use product to make it look thick. With not to many grafts, a good doc can construct a faux crown that is thin but respectable.
  6. Google Shapiro medical, under the contact consultation tools.. the pdf is there
  7. Thanks for replying back.. I now understand what you mean by 'lifeless' Good question. Not growing, but not shedding, like a burnt out bulb just sitting there. If these are two transplanted grafts that will not grow back?
  8. I miss-interpreted the question. If grafts did all grow at the same rate, and you only have two graft hairs growing. You would be in trouble
  9. Standard answer is you need to wait. To early to tell if the some grafts are a no show. With your first HT, 3 months is basically the start of new growth. Months 3 to 6 is where everything gets exciting.
  10. Agree with Matt. IF you get a HT, and that middle section starts receding, you will need another HT
  11. Spex "Finasteride Transition" is really sound advice.. If you do get Propecia sides, it will also effect your erection when your masturbating to hot 5 on 1 guy girl action 1mg 1 x a week for 2 weeks 1mg 2 x a week for 2 weeks 1mg 3 x a week for 2 weeks 1mg 4 x a week for 2 weeks 1mg 5 x a week for 2 weeks 1mg 6 x a week for 2 weeks 1mg 7 x a week .......
  12. Stuck lifeless hair? Are you measuring this hair? Sounds like everything is going great, so you just need to sit back and let process happen.
  13. Shapiro has great example of how to take a photo. And because you have diffused thin, Shapiro is a great clinic to talk with. Might be a better choice then Wong. Take the photo's per the instructions. Stop being a pussy and cropping your photos to conceal 90% of your identity. It's not helping anyone. 5_PHOTO_INSTRUCTIONS.pdf
  14. Maybe with better pictures, shock OP felt he needed a HT. In the end none of this matters. OP is not happy with the results. If I was him, I would be tempted to wait the full 14 months post op (just to be sure). But something inside says "your results are in". If his scalp feels good, and his laxity is back to normal, pull the trigger. Keller, Shapiro, If you have crown loss go big with Hanson/Wong. India docs are doing some amazing FUE work. Rahal besides their growth guarantee, I like how their staff make the trip a suto vacation. If $$ is an issue, ColoradoHT (while not a hair network member) really impresses me. It would be near impossible for any clinic listed to leave less then super awesome 100% pro fanatic.
  15. Personally not confident with the whole reimbursement. When my 2nd HT produced sub par yield which could be argued, but not my unrealistic large scar. The only recourse offered by Lindsey was to fix the scar at his fixed costs, or about $2,500. That didn't seem right to me. Which is why I really appreciate Rahal's upfront "growth guaranteed" The Rahal clinic keeps getting further ahead of the pack.
  16. I want to help, but it looks like diffused hair loss, at a NW5A, Not my area where I have confidence in. Some other members better familiar with defuse loss will chime in. However, H/W is the only docs I would consider for such a big job. I ask you to meet with H/W or a couple of local HT doc in person before you proceed. You need to get a in-person look at your hair loss and donor area. Make a trip out to visit H/W just for a consultation only. Information trip only and listen to what they have to say about your hairloss now, and what your hairloss will look like in 10 years. 4000 grafts is a big $$ job for any clinic, so I would expect them but the sales pressure hard. But you need to take your time, Compare what the clinics say to the advice of what our members say. Let's work to see if we can sync up. However, I think 4k with your current head of hair, will give you a a smile on your face. Just don't blow a bunch of grafts trying to move your hair line down, or going to wide across. I think you have very limited donor so this HT has to be done right. Be honest with what you want, tell us what you hope to end up after a 4k grafts even if you think its wishful thinking, so we can make sure know what to expect. I am concerned with the way the back looks thin (could be the flash) how easily a strip scar on you would show up. Also lets look at SMP! 4k plus SMP, you could wear that hair short and look good. Also! have you buzzed your hair down yet? If not why not? You need to look at that guy in the mirror with a buzzed down head. This potentially could save you soooooo much agony, and if you any confidence problems, resolve a slew of them.
  17. 4,000 grafts and if that is a poor donor, (I cannot tell) means the clinic will make the strip scar a 'little bit' longer then average. Probably, stopping before your ears. Do you have frontal loss as well? What NW level are you?
  18. I have talked to many of doctors who shared the same consensus that they "help a little". Length of strip scar and donor density were stated the two primary reasons for the amount of grafts a clinic can harvest. I asked the doctors, "say you didn't do them, can you still get a great HT?" The answer was "Yes, absolutely" but "you would get a better HT if you have a lax scap". Lax scalp can mean more grafts. Now if you have a naturally loose scalp you need not worry.
  19. To answer your question, about no/little growth at 10 months. The standard answer is to wait till 14 months for final results. In my hours of reading, looking at cases, and in my own personal experience, I have never seen anyone go from 10 months to amazing HT. I don't believe the extra 4 months is going to change that for you.
  20. OK, you need to post a better before HT and after HT pictures. With your type of hair, and the grafts you got, my guess, you have growth although poor. But it's difficult to compare because of your crappy pictures. PLUS, it looks like you have an awesome head of hair that doesn't or never needed a HT. That could mean you have some body disfigure issues, and another HT's will not fix that for you. Crazy huh? My back burner thought is, you are getting older, and your hair is doing what it should. Get some better pictures, front top, side pictures. Give us a chance to really help you, Did you get strip of fue?
  21. What is your current NW scale? Where do you think you end up? What type of hair color do you have? Is your hair curly, thin, thick? What is your skin color? Are you Have you shaved your hair down short yet?
  22. Yeah, removing them is easy, hopefully it was the right time too remove them For me, my hair loss slowed at 29, and picked up again at 34.. Something I feel you should keep on the back burner
  23. Good call, the border agents know the only people who visit Ottawa are there to see Rahal.
  24. Your pictures suck, and you can't get a sense of your donor hair. I would also let your hair grow out to let the doctor get a sense of how coarse your hair is and how it grows in. I my experience going in for a consult with a shave head does not help them. "I think a conservative FUE route could work for you that will add some definition, allow you to keep a buzzed look" maybe add SMP
  25. Many times the 'plastic surgery' will correct the out lying problem, but not address the internal. You just come across as that type. Sorry friend no offense was intended.
