  1. Thanks Spanker. If I was thinning before, I had not noticed it. I guess I'll go on with the hopes that it is shockloss. The transplanted region was trimmed minimally so that I could mask the recipient region upon return to work.
  2. Anyone notice shockloss or thinning behind recipient area after having a HT to the hairline/frontal third? Any way to tell for sure if its shockloss or further hairloss progression? I'm 2.5 months post HT and have noticed thinning behind the transplanted area. Any advice is appreciated.
  3. Hi All, Just a quick update here - I'm currently 9 weeks out from my HT with Dr. Lindsey. There is definite growth and new protrusions daily. The scar seems to be doing great although the entire back of my head itches profusely from time to time. The only time I notice any numbness now is when i lie on the bench while weight lifting and it seems to only be the center of my head just above the scar. Anyway, check out the attached pics and let me know what you think - hoping for good things in the comping months!
  4. anyone know how to place this in the patient results thread? just noticed i created this in the wrong one
  5. Greetings, all I'm 2 weeks out from my FUT procedure with Dr. Lindsey and all seems well. Sutures were removed on day 7 and it was back to work. My existing hair covered the recipient donor regions so nobody noticed a thing. Most of the scabs were gone by day 10 and it was back to the gym on day 12. I have very little numbness left and little to no redness in the recipient region. I'm currently at day 17 post-op and had a minor haircut yesterday - 1 to 1.5 inch on top, and a #5 on back/sides. Still able to mask both donor and recipient areas. I've attached a few pics to illustrate this. Let me know what you think!
  6. I decided to go with FUT simply due to the consistency of results and the availability of donor hair I currently have. I'm currently 29 yrs old (30 next month) and feel the hairline fits me well. Thanks for the reply! BTW my fiance removed my sutures with no problems.
  7. Posted a quick update on my experience with Dr. Lindsey on my blog: Hair Restoration Journal for Bordo643 - ~2200 FUT with Dr. William Lindsey
