  1. I trust the FDA as much as I trust my the USDA, or my ex hooker girlfriend. My buddy took Propecia and it seriously F*** him up. He told me after a month on that drug, he felt like taking a 9mm to his own head. He is the most normal sane guy I have ever met, he smart, hot wife, awesome job, and balling $$. Just like to style his hair Then a couple years later, FDA adds depression to the label. Whatever, but the FDA approval doesn't mean jack or s*** in my eyes.
  2. yes, you need to do strip method. You need to be careful because you are addressing two fronts of hairloss. The hairline and the crown. Any super awesome results you have seen only hits the hairline OR the crown. I would fill in the natural "island" front you have now, make sure there is enough grafts to flow back toward the crown, and see what kind of illusion coverage you can have with the crown. Obviously you do not need a dense pack in the crown, just enough to make it look like you have hair.
  3. I have average density , and excellent laxity 1st HT 3400 2nd HT 1800 I feel I could have gotten 2000 (possibly more) on the 2nd HT, had the doctor follow the same length as the first HT.
  4. I am assuming your doing strip It depends on who is doing your scar and your laxity of your scalp, and how long you leave those staples, sutures in. I would ask yourself this question after 2 weeks after your operation, when you have a good natural inundation on yourscar
  5. As a fellow NW5a, and resident "know it all" here is my thought, and I wish this was suggested to me my fist HT 1. First HT, go for maximum grafts 1, Be careful on how you construct your hair line. You will have future loss, and you want to try avoid the thin see through hair. *** If I could do it over again, I would have skip the straight across hairline that Rahal performed, and followed a widows peek, ie. Jude Law, or what you naturally have right now. That way I could have dense packing in a small area up front, and let it get thin on the way back, and then attack the crown. Take a look at my pics, and just don't do that. The head is a big area to cover, and anything you can do to have a more focused area will give you better results.

  9. Hopefully we start to see more from them. More options for more people is good
  10. "until Histogen/Aderans are out" Nope. 99% of all products mention as the next big thing fail. Histogen has a high probability of never coming out. That's just a fact . H&W says NO, then that is a 100% do not do it. Your hairloss doesn't bother you, it is girls that bother you. My advice, and it is your only option. Something a ex girlfriend (who I swear was also a escort) told me one time. "Ugh, just accept it and cut it short." One of the most honest insightful things a whore has ever said to me Accept your NW7, and buzz your hair short. You'll stop worrying if people are looking at your hair loss. What kills most guys, is the hairloss over 10 of 15 years of it slowly receding. If we could all wake up one morning, and have no hair, we could accept it.
  11. "this is where donor management becomes far more critical than gaining higher densities." Sound advice. It's all these brilliant piece of info that get lost. This becomes really important if you continue to lose hair after your HT. What was one a shining example of modern miracle science, now looks like a deforestation
  12. A couple of the doctors in your "Supporting Physicians:" offer laser therapy. Please ask them what they think about laser therapy, as they offer it. I want to think a laser solution works. I don't trust people's review of the laser comb, because I think people are lazy. A laser hat! I can see a normal lazy guy sitting there with a laser hat on, while jerking it to hot 5 on 1 action on pornhub (at least I would) So you would have a more consistent application I would love to to read one honest review from a sane normal person with no affiliation either way. Or that guy who does over macho grande, do a documented trial run to show it can work for someone. nativeremdies Super Patient Advocate
  13. " Hopefully in the future there will be more verified data versus marketing." Nope
  14. It's the typical hairloss Maybe/Maybe not. The cost is too high for average joes to jump all over it. Then you have the nay sayers just for the fact its different. I have read about a few people saying they spent 2,000 to 7,000 going to laser therapy, and it did not work. But I think that is all suspect. Dateline said lasers work on hair, but then dateline rigs trucks to explode. FDA says lasers work on the hair, but then the FDA adds a new side effect to the Propecia bottle every year. Do a google search on "over macho grande laser" I never used it because of the cost. About 1,200. I bet you could find a used one.. I would love to try a run a 3 with a month laser. If they had a return policy I would have jumped all over it.
  15. "they’re over quickly and from then on I felt only the sensation of scalp contact – prodding and pushing – rather than pain. Later in the evening I had a bit of a headache, but in the days which followed, the only discomfort was some tenderness in the donor area when scrubbing it clean. " Reads like 50 shads of Grey
  16. Will do. I sent them a email, seeing if they could offer some insight on their practice It would be great if we could get some more info about them. evil, if you have any impressions so far, please ante up
  17. OK, I don't think you can do much right now. If its typical, you will come back naturally in a few more or several more weeks Thank the stars.
  18. Rahal's office is great. His reps are great to talk with, his office is super nice to visit.. his staff, amazing. You done good!
  19. As best as I have read, it will not hurt to do nothing for 7 days, and let your head just sit there. It might be optimal. You want those grafts to take root, 5 - 9 days. After that you are solid
  20. You will love it Your hair looks thick which is good When the rest of your native hairs take a dive, you will want a 2nd HT Make sure keep the clinic updated with your progress, if money is a issue start saving now. When your ready for the second one in a few years, you will be able to pull the trigger
  21. In Colorado you are not allowed to cut hair with out a license. So that's how lubricious having a license can be. By the sheer number of bad HT, a license doesn't mean much to me. I would take a tech with 20 years of experience any day of the week versus a doctors who name is recognized. That's really the missing standard with all these clinics. Their staff, how much experience they have, and how long have they been at the clinic.
  22. Really like how the doctor placed the grafts expecting future loss. He also didn't build a hair line across the entire length of your forehead, which will save you lots of grafts when you go for #2 Incredible, i love this doctor
  23. Not putting any spin on this but, I saw an advertisement for them today on the back of a bus. Maybe they are trying to build up their practice.
  24. I agree with Spex, very very scary. Before she is allowed to influence, shape, and "help" alter the future of fine young balding men, She needs a disclaimer at the bottom of her signature that she is not a Doctor
