I was told the new clinic is not ready this winter.

Because I have alot of native hair left on top and just need some small areas boosted up a little...So I am going FUE and the best FUE surgeons are Dr Lorenzo, and yes Turkey is up there to. Dr. Lorenzo has hundreds of FUE youtube videos. His work is really good.

Seriously what year did we all graduate from grade school? This forum reminds me of Norman Rockwell's the Gossips at times.....Bickering like a bunch of blue haired grandmas at a hair salon! Anyone new to this site, do not waste much time on here. You could be reading a great novel, spending time with your family, walking the dog. Whatever it is you like to do in life do it! This back and forth FUE vs FUT is almost comical, but tragically so, like the poor characters chasing they're tails in Dante's Inferno. Everybody on each side has an agenda. Is this the dreaded rabbit hole I've fallen down? The reps, or online-consults, usually are the guys who had great transplants and now praise and spread the word of they're chosen doctor with a one sided fanaticism usually reserved for religious cult members! And then you got people who had a bad outcome spreading the word with the same one sided fanaticism. It's no longer a civil discussion of FUE or FUT anymore just alot of "White Noise"

It should be fine in a few months, I hope. Now if it were 1980 and you went to Dr Puig and Cleveland Clinic I would be worried. Those guys moonlighted at the deli slicing meat on weekends.......

Guys lets live life! Carpe diem, gather thee rosebuds will thee may, our days here are never promised. I know hair loss holds our minds hostages at times but the inner life- the life of the mind, exercising both mind and body, and generally just being healthy and enjoying life is more important than bickering over hair and FUE or FUT. I graduated grade school in 1987, its time to move on.

anybody know anything about the choi impanter pen? Does it cause scaring where the grafts are inserted?

Regarding FUE does the choi implanter pen result in scarring where the grafts are inserted? If manual punches extracting grafts causes micro-scars, wouldn't be the same for the top of the head? A little off topic, I'm sorry, but some of the top FUE surgeons are using some variation of the choi implanter pen. If it caused unsightly scarring I doubt it would be used much, Thanks.

Dr Konior does fantastic work. Whether your a fan of FUT or FUE you can't deny that Dr K has done some miracle repair cases on people that were really messed up. I respect that.

The Chicago Blackhawks are a way better team than the Canucks.....I guess Vancouver has the twins- They are creepy, like the girls from the SHining- and crybaby goaltender Roberto who looks like a Armenian used car salesman is way past his prime. Chicago is a much better team now than the Canucks.....Who is wearing the bling and drinking from the Stanley Cup. Case closed I bet the Blackhawks will win again this year, and they have better hair than the Canucks.

Dr Charles is leading you down the right path. Sounds like you are not a Norwood 3, if you were the Doctor would have told you. Good advice....Stick to meds and see what happens.

Does it matter what tools are used to place the grafts via FUE? Some Doctors use a variation of the choi implanter pen and have great results. Others use custom blades and have great results. Do both methods, if used in the right hands, leave undetectable scars in the recipient area? Thank You.

Patrick Kane might be on this site soon! Have you seen the comments about his hair recently in the media? I must say he is having some major thinning up top, but I must give him props rocking the mullet while balding is a pretty gutsy move....

Dr Lorenzo is getting FUT like results via FUE. He has hundreds of videos on youtube. For me FUT is not an option because I cannot take time off coaching and playing hockey. Also, I have a very tight scalp and do not want to risk permanent scalp tightness or numbness. FUE can give me results just as good as FUT can. I might have to go overseas to get it done, but there are doctors practicing manual FUE at the same level of "Gold Standard" strip surgery. It's what you feel is right for you that matters, thats all.

Your hair looks fine man, do not get a hair transplant just yet. Actually, your hair is very thick and curly and anybody under bright lights with short hair will show scalp. Keep that hair you have, it is a killer head of hair. I do not see any thinning or recession of hairline...AT ALL.

A long time ago I had a Bosley Doc tell me that he was getting calls from patients of his saying" It's been seven months, and nothing is growing" and he told me that it takes a year or longer. Is that true? Always wondered.
