  1. Many apologies for my very rare posting on this forum i have just been so busy this past year. So here we are almost the end of a long hard journey! Here are the month 12 twelve pics exactly a year on post op. As you will see most, if not all the grafts have grown and density has improved from the last set of pics i uploaded. Then at the start is 'THE BEFORE PIC!' I think overall i am happy with the way it has turned out, i sacrificed density over surface area coverage and it has met my expectations. 3000 grafts over such a large area was a big ask but i have manged to pull it off. Even quite a bit of shockloss in the front middle area hasn't dampened the mood! I am now planning to get my crown fixed at PHair Clinic. I cant believe how quickly the year has flown it only seems like the other day i uploaded my first set of pics. Still the experts on here will tell me that there is 'still' perhaps a bit more maturing of the hair to come?
  2. Sorry for the hiatus guys, life has just been so busy lately! Here i have posted pics 5 months and 5 days post op. Take a look and the pics and tell me what you think, comparing them to the baseline and month 3 pics? As far as comparison to month 3 goes there has definitely been progress, maybe not rapid progress but steady enough. The month 3 to month 4 comparison wasnt showing much difference but the month 4 to 5 seems to indicate that the hairs are begin to darken and thicken slightly. As you will see from the pics there is still a long long way to go, and i just need to be patient. At one point i was getting a little disheartened as i wasnt seeing heavy progress between months 3 and 4 but i guess i was being too optomisitc. I can still feel little new prickles coming through especially throughout the hairline area. Does this mean that new hairs sprout through at different stages, some say as early as month 2 and others as late as month 5 and beyond? I can definitely see the new hairs have grown but they are still so fine, it barely becomes noticeable. How long before these fine, wispy hairs thicken and mature to show a true cosmetic difference? Overall i am still happy with my progress
  3. 3 Months and a week post-op pics attached. I have to say i am pleasantly surprised! After comparing these pics to the ones above i can see that i am already starting to make progress. I have noticed very fine wispy hairs popping up mainly throughout the hairline which is making the hair look denser compared to the last pics i posted a month ago. When i rub my scalp with my fingers it feels like im rubbing over scabs, its got this prickly feeling- which are the grafts beginning to push through. Im excited about the next three months development. I'll keep you guys posted
  4. Its two and a half months post op FUE 3000 grafts and i have noticed that there in almost complete numbness in my receipient area- i.e when i touch the top on my scalp i feel almost zero sensitivity. Is this normal for post FUE patients? Is it a sign that perhaps the grafts are getting ready to pop through?
  5. Well its only been two and a half months so not really expecting any kind of density at the moment- im just patiently biding my time
  6. Here are pics 2 months and one weeks post-op. All of my grafts shed approx one month post-op. I have been surprised how well my native hair has grown back considering it was all so thin and wispy pre-op so i was expecting me to lose it to shock loss. This is a bonus because i have been able to use concealers mainly toppik so well to mask my HT. Nobody has been able to detect my FUE, i was able to return to work 10 days post up- of course with super short hair but because the grafts were still in place then everyone just though id stupidly cut my hair short as opposed to noticing some sort of procedure. One months post op i was able to use toppik again as my native hair had grown back long enough. So far i havent noticed any noticeable regrowth but its still very early days so not expecting anything yet. i have experienced some very very fine short hairs popping up throughout my hairline. This is encouraging because its still so early so im really looking forward to my development in the next two months. Apologies for the quality of the pics- they are all taken from my phone.
  7. Here are pics of my Donor area 4 weeks post op- taken with great difficulty from my phone!
  8. Here are the pics 3 weeks post-op- almost none of the grafts had shed at this stage and the donor and recipient area had healed very well
  9. Hey guys newbie to the forum here, i have been posting my HT experience on another hairloss forum however this forum seems to be the main hub of activity so i have decided to share my experience/results with all you guys here. I am from the UK, been losing my hair since the age of 16, diffuse thinner all over. Been on fin/dutas for 9 years and used minox on and off during that period. This year the time came when i finally had enough money saved to get an FUE after doing extensive research. Here are the pics of my FUE i had on 14th and 15th Oct 2011 ago at the Prohairclinic in belgium. Session was over two days, first session 1,500 grafts in the top area, second session 1,566 grafts on the frontal part, total 3,066 grafts. It's thanks all of the various hairloss forums that i finally had the guts and credible information to opt for an HT so just thought i'd give you guys something back and also get some feedback from you fellow hairloss sufferers. Im London based, had consults with quite a few of the known docs including Dr Rogers and Feriduni, but opted for the ProHairClinic mainly due to price and solid reputation. They're very professional and they took good care of me. The procedure was carried out by the 'ProHair Team' consisting of five experienced technical assistants, which is spearheaded by the most senior assistant called Sabine who made the incisions and extraxctions. She has been performing FUE for over nine years i think. I got the Eurostar from London to Brussels, and then the train from Brussels to Antwerp, total journey time taking just over three hours in total. I am hoping to return to the prohairclinic in a years time to fix my crown. So here i attach pre-op and post-op pics, and in my next post ill post 3 week update pics..
