For those of you unfamiliar with the historical dynamics at play here, let me state that this thread stopped being about Hair Transplants the moment India came into the picture. The two nations and their people have been at each other's throats for over 60 years and, if this thread is an indicator, will be for years to come.
In my opinion, some of the posts made here are an embarrassment to the nationalities being discussed and do a decent job of reflecting why both countries will always trail behind other nations who's citizen's chose more constructive endeavors.
Well Said, Couldnt agree more...High Time some guys immediately realise this...

Just sharing the facts of what he told me. I am no hair expert and thus cannot validate the reason, I can only share the doctor's response.....
I believe you still have a Scalp Flaking problem right ? So what is the gurantee the hair grafts will grow this time around ? is what I am trying to find out what Dr.Bhatti commented on this ?
-
Dr. Bhatti said that my severe case of scalp flaking could have been the reason. It can be a possible derma problem and I shall be consulting a dermatologist at the earliest. He may be right as I also remember the start of the hairfall coinciding with the flaking problem that I have today. Who knows had I taken care of it earlier I wouldn't be requiring a HT today
The doc has also recommended Minoxidil 5% instead of 2% this time and also suggested me to religiously stick to the post-op regimen.
I like your Deep Faith in Dr.Bhatti to believe whatever he said. I mean just Like Hariri said Doctors generally dont like to answer these sort of questions, so for you to take him (Dr.Bhatti) on Face Value for whatever reason that he gave for your Grafts to no to grow. I mean I like your Faith in Dr.Bhatti !
-
He mentioned something about the incision size and that it should be bigger next time.
With Incision Size do you mean the Slits that are made for Hair Grafting ?
-
@shane13 what did Dr.Bhatti say the reason could be on why you earlier grafts did not grow ? And what and how did he make sure that it grows this time ? Did he tell you any possible reasons for last time and Precautionary Measures for this time's HT ?

augusta ht network is open forum and you can just click and see results of doctors and patients and ask user if u r satisfied
it your call and i think i gave you link and utube you have eyes and brain now use ur own brain.
remmeber bhati is cheapest and good except hairline
hairline according to me is the crux and backbone to HT
I willl say from my perspective if u have good hairline ur half batttle is won.
I send u link and videos u can seach this forum and utube and look urself in mirror and imagine what you could be with structured hairline andwhat you would be if haurline is not bridge proper and only hair is filled randomly with not border line which i called structure hairline it should have border line all from forehead border to temple points and u already have that video which is more then enough to understand what i am referrinfg to hairline.
HT is ot a joke and getting it done by an skilled surgeon with artistic skill is worth then getting butchered and going again for correction
I agree hairline is the....the...important thing while doing a HT. But the Risk of going for a very structurd hairline is it starts looking too un-natural too artifical. I am getting serious goosebumps now, with people here criticising so much about Bhatti's Hairline.
-
People here jeep talking about Bhatti's hairline being not do good but is it not that something that a person undergoing a FT can get it right in consultation with the HT performing Dr. So how is the Dr only responsible for if if he goes not know how to do a modern she HT unlike the plugs that used to happen in earlier days well, that is a question with the Doctor's skill then !!
-
its my opinion you should have ask dr bhati to give more structured hairline
i mean your temple points to all way what is called hairline
I think bhati could have done better job with hairline
Can u explain what do you mean by structured hairline ? Am planning a HT from Dr.Bhatti who knows this is a point even I can keep in mind during my HT.

Absolutely and People dont seem to understand this simple thing.

I do not want to sound as if I am doing a Pakistan Bashing here, nor do I want to start a Indo-Pak Cricket Match here but the fact is please do not compare the Medical Science advancement and facilities available in Pakistan to India. The facilities in India are far...far more better then those available in Pakistani. India is a different league altogether... Of course there are quacks in India aswell, of course there are Fake Doctors in India aswell, but the general awareness, knowledge, skill and expertise availabe in India are far far more better then in Pakistan. A good example is there were so many cases in Pakistan like what I vageuly remember about a a couple of years back there was a very complicated surgery of conjoined twins which was done in Bangalore when they had to be flown from Pakistan because of the lack of proper surgical intervention available there..So I would say the Finesse is definitely that matters, where India has a edge so dont compare India and Pakistan in Medical Science in the same league.

Yes overall the results look preety good ! Except the Hairline (Sorry to say this but for me, it looks pluggy especially from the First Photo )
So tell me is it clever styling or a Good HT from Dr.Radha
-
Hair isnt a big deal in itself anyway;but the lack of it is.BIG TIME!!!
In my case,I whole-heartedly refuse to acknowledge that "HT is just a cosmetic procedure" :I was born with a big protuding forehead(Weirdly Curved Frontal region with large surface area) and very high hairline .To add to my woes,I started losing hair along the hairline by 18.If I were in a parallel universe where HT is unknown,I would definitely have been a grumpy guy with shaved head and a cap(On 24/7,except while sleeping of course).HT has given me a new life.
RECAP:I had 3 strip sessions (and a scar revision)with DR.Khanna(current president,AHRS,India) between 2005 and 2007.
RESULT:Bad hairline Design/aggresive.True FUSS not performed.Doubles in the hairline/Wrong Angulation/Charged lump sum by no of hair follicles rather than grafts.Density achieved =20-30/cm^2.
In March 2013,I made a list of docs to consult for an FUSS in India.(I didnt consider DR.Bhatti as he does FUE and I'm not his FUSS fan.I started with strip and my budget was limited ,so FUSS was a natural choice)
The List was like this:
1.DR.Radha
2.DR.Madhu
3.DR.A ,and
4.DR.Sanjiv Vasa
I contacted the first two docs and decided on DR.Radha based on her Analysis+Results+Ethics+Policy+Trainning
1840 FUGs were transplanted in the frontal region to increase the density to ~50/cm^2 on May 2nd,13.
I'm 17 weeks post HT.The Thickening Process has started!I wish I had gone to DR.Radha (or Madhu or Bhatti ) in the first place....But still,I'm happy with the progress!!! I can style my hair now.
What do you guys think?
ArcaneX
Non-Smoker,
Mintop Forte Foam applied locally twice daily,
Finpecia 1 mg daily(CAUTION:Dont take without Consulting a Dermatologist),
Nizoral 1% once a week,
Dutas 0.5 mg once a week(CAUTION:Dont take without Consulting a Dermatologist),
Follihair Vitamins Daily.
(Declaration:I'm not working for DR.Radha .I'm a genuine patient. The credit for the result doesnt go to DR.Radha entirely. But She played a Major role in the "FIX".I'm satisfied with the growth and also her donor zone selection and closure too.The growth started kicking in at 3.5 months post ht.The After photos are at 17 weeks plus.Still ,i cant find my DSLR camera,so m using a basic CANON IXUS 12.1 Mpx for the time being.)
I dont wanna take away the feeling of ecstacy that you may be feeling from the desired results that you have got. But I just had question to you on the Hairline from the first picture that you have posted. Are you happy with it ? I mean could it not have been a little more natural looking one ?
-
There was no concrete reason that he could think of..... he was surprised too..... I took all necessary post-op care
So one goes through all the pain, trauma mentally getting prepared, lot of hopes...Money that one would have earned putting in his sweat and blood just to find out it did not work !! What a Joke !!
-
It's pointless worrying about growth when you're only a couple of weeks out from the operation.
But he said it is already 6 months post his HT is it just condidered couple of weks and to add to the misery he is saying even Dr.Bhatti concurred that yes the HT has not been up to the mark and so he offered a corrective repeat HT.
-
Did Dr. Bhatti speculate why the grafts didn't grow?
Yeah Even I would like to know this. It is shocking I never thought that even this could be a possibility, Can the Transplanted hair not grow at all can even this also happen Gosh !
-
hi ara,
Thank you for your reply. yeah, have read about her and have considered going there sometimes Inshallah. Dr. Hamayun may not be a good destination, i feel the same. lets see what happens. I have just started taking finasteride, minodixil, and Skinvit along with Scalp Shampo. the result, feeling a bit decreased level of libido and a bit problem with erection. though however i think its because of the psycology i had while starting the medicines. i read about its side effects and got worry. i feel like it somehow works. hairfal has limited to about 45 hair in a single bath which is kind of improvement i think and i feel good taking the medicinces. so now i really look forward to experiencing its good results more and more.
tnx 1ce more.
Ok, I dont want to sound harsh or anyting but just the fact is, it is going to be extremely extremly difficult for you to get a Visa in India. You will have a lot of waiting, lot of scrutinizing, tremendous pressure to prove it is indeed a medical trip and so on and so forth. Hence I earlier mentioned options of Dr.Humayun and Dubai.
-
But I dont know people keep talking here that if Hairline designing was a important criteria Bhatti would not be on top of that list. Having said this the same people also say his hairline no way look Artifical or un-natural or pluggy as they call it. so what is the grouse here then ? I fail to understand !!

Augusta,
Are you comfortable undergoing surgery with a different doctor who, I assume, you've never met? Also, can you do the first 100 grafts at the reduced price on the same day you undergo the additional 1,700 at the original price? If so, this doesn't seem like it is out of the ordinary. However, doing 100 grafts alone and then returning for a second procedure of 1,700 grafts would likely involve a 12 month gap in between the two procedures.
What's more, 100 grafts (alone) won't likely do anything significant on its own. What's more, going to one surgeon for 100 grafts at a discounted rate, and then another for an additional 1,700 seems like a pain as well.
Have you actually booked surgery yet? While I don't want to discourage you from moving forward if you are prepared to do so, it seems like some additional time to think and research may be helpful.
Good luck!
I have kind of had detailed consultation/Discussion with both the Doctors One Personal other Virtual. The Doctor who is offering me a discount rate, I cannot do the entire HT with him is baecause for the entire thing the overall expense just blows me out of my place. It is simply out of question, not possible. I just wanted to have a taste of how the HT will look like and that is why I was looking at this offer as a Prelude as a Introduction. This same discounted rate is not being offered by the HT surgeon who I plan to do the entire surgery from.
So you are the saying it is not a good idea is it ? and even If I do this 100 grafts at a different point of my head say temples and the other I am planning to do at my peak ? will it still involve a gap of 12 months ? Well if that is the case it makes no sense atall to go for this offer IMO ?
-
I have been advised for 1800 Grafts. The HT surgeon that I am planning to do my HT is going to be a different surgeon. However I also consulted one more very reputed and renowned HT surgeon and currently as a promotional offer he is offering a deal where in normally where he charges around $4 per graft, just to make the patient aware of the quality he offers and what is the FUE HT procedure all going to be like, he is offering a deal where he can do a HT of 100 grafts @ $2 this is only for 100 grafts for rest the rate of $4 is applicable. He is saying go for the 100 grafts offer and see if you feel ok about this entire thing.
My question is when I need 1800 grafts in total how is 100 graft going to help me, meaning where do I get the 100 hair grafts transplanted, which area of my scalp, my head. I don't see any advantage of just doing a 100 Graft HT, How can I take advantage of this offer. Will it help me know any details about the result or procedure based on which I can further decide to go for the remaining 1700 grafts(Which I am planning to do with the first surgeon whose rates are far far low then this second surgeon who is giving me this offer)

Shock Loss is a possibility which may or may ot happen, depending on a lot of factors. Skill of Doctor, Equipments like Punch, Magnification, Light and other supportive mechanism which are used for a successful HT. There is no general theory if didn't happen with you it will not happen to others and vice-a-versa !
-
but I find Bhatti's hairlines to sometimes not be as soft or feathered as they could be.
Curious to know more ? Can you explain what do you mean by not as soft or feathered ?
Do you mean unrealistic, un-natural or aggressive(surreal) hairline ?

Hello Spirali08,
Are you serious? People prone to pattern baldness seem to accelerate this condition on steroids. There are not a lot of studies but many athletes have this complaint. Though your transplanted hair is DHT resistant it seems to be very ill advised to consider taking anabolic steroids following your transplant. It is not advisable to take these potent hormones unless medically required. There are many risk far beyond damaging your HT! All the Best, Michael.
And there is a entire lobby, a community who dont think that way. They would not listen to anything like that. There is a strong belief eveything done right in a right manner is ok. God knows how is playing with Human Hormones safe anyways !!
Why Pakistani Doctors HT result is poor if compare with western doctors
