  1. Hi Patrickcc, I think you should leave well enough alone. Your hair looks pretty darn good as it is. Maybe in a few years if you still feel the need, but know that multiple operations are the norm, not the exception. I would not rush into a HT at this point. If you really lose a lot on in the front in the next 5 years than maybe consider a HT but for now be thankful you have a good head of hair.
  2. This.. Just a bit in the front from a good doctor so you don't end up possibly shocking out any native hair. (talk to the doctor about that)
  3. Wow. What an amazingly good topic to discuss. My suggestion would be to compliment his hair a few different times first. This will makes him feel more comfortable about what he has gone through. Then you could say something like " I saw you're old facebook posts and it seems you had less hair then, your hair looks so amazing now, did you get a touch-up or something?" Men can be very sensitive about their hair loss so complimenting him first at random times will really make him feel good and might loosen him up a bit about the experience. Thanks for the interesting post.
  4. I agree totally with that. But also I think Turkey is less expensive because it's...Turkey. In general knowing who the technicians are that will be working on you would be a smart thing to research (if that's even possible?) But I should add that even though Dr. Konior is my #1 favorite FUT doctor he simply doesn't have as many stellar results posted (yet) to sway someone from a FUE Dr. like Lorenzo when looking at FUE as their preferred method.... Just my opinion though;)
  5. Just saw this photo of David Lee Roth with a shaved head from a recent concert appearance. Is that a big old HT scar back there? I do think so...
  6. Since 300 wont do much I might stay away from that Dr. for future procedures, but talk to him now and tell him the hairline is a bit too low and not shaped well and maybe he'll give you more than 300 to make things right.
  7. With all due respect, because it might help to avoid a potentially stretched and problematic scar on the back of the head. There are too many scar repair cases to count on forums like these that are still coming in daily. The fact that even the best doctor cant predict whether a scar will stretch, and considering a HT is cosmetic surgery, if the front looks good at the cost of the back looking bad, it would make sense to elect a surgery that does not inherently come with that risk. ((depending on the personal goal/characteristics/NW pattern/future loss/ etc. of the patient)) Just my opinion. That being said I respect Dr. Fellers work very much, but this one point kind of struck me.
  8. Thanks for taking the time to make this videos Dr. Feller.
  9. Hi Jopps123,Holy molasses! Did your doctor say that these things were all because of Finasteride? Could some of them been from something else in your life? Just wondering because my testosterone has been getting lower in the last few years also and I'm not sure why. I mean (this is kind of personal) but when you say "loss of libido" do you mean you didn't even want to wank, have sexual thoughts, want sex at all or was it more just in real life situations?
  10. Good point. A strip scar can be a major regret in this battle against MPB, even years down the line. Im betting the FUE guys are only going to get better and soon there will be no question.
  11. Yes is normal that the hairs are falling out now. You just have to wait a few more months. In about 4 months you should see the new hair looking good. I should also say that you got yourself into a kind of a tricky situation. The 1500 grafts should be ok for a little while. After that you be wanting to look for a great FUT surgeon IMHO. Like BUSA said you are going to lose the rest of the hair that is on the top of your head in the next years. You have to keep that donor area as unharvested as possible. Dont risk another HT with the same doctor you used. You will have to eventually travel to find a surgeon that can be careful with those grafts and do as much coverage as possible. Dont stop taking finasteride etc. But for now just rest and grow well, and please read a lot of posts on this forum (and others) to get a better understanding of what a HT can and can not achieve. Good growing.
  12. I just found this post online and was wondering your thoughts on these 5 points. It's a super negative and I don't want make anyone feel bad, but do wonder if some of these points might be potentially true. Here is the post...
  13. Thanks BadBeat. I'll give it a try.
  14. Yea, I agree. Its not the forehead wrinkles. Nobody thinks about that. You're a guy. That can even be considered cool. It's that Toppik is B-R-O-W-N but real hair has different colors blended together. That's what people are looking at. The color and the too perfect hairline is actually doing the reverse of what you want. Like others have said try growing out the front a bit to get a little coverage and ease way back on the toppik.
  15. Looking good and its only going to get better in the next 6 months. Congrats!
