  1. hey Srod, sorry to hear about the poor results. I hope it works out for you in the end. To be honest this is my nightmare. I haven't had a HT yet (still researching) and am really quiet afraid of getting results/scars that I cant turn back from. I really hope you get more growth over the next few months. Please keep us posted. Its important for all of us to have as much honest information as possible. Thanks.
  2. Could any of you imagine any potential damage to existing hairs through shock loss that wouldn't grow back? I would hate to get in over my head here. Thanks
  3. Hi Blake, I thought Dr. Feriduni's clinic was in Belgium. I cant seem to find any mention of a Berlin office on his site, just a consultation office in Frankfurt.
  4. Hi All, Is anyone living in, or visiting Berlin in the near future and willing to show a newbie his/her FUT or FUE work for a drink? Ive been researching for a year all over the web, but have yet to see some work in person. Anyone? Thanks, Magnum
  5. Hi Guys, Any long time HT people out there know about thinning a few years after HT? Does it look strange if the native hairs behind the HT hairline are lost due to natural aging? I'm 42 now but I'm wondering how I might look at 52 or 62 (a time when a lot of men seem to lose hair). I'm on Propecia but I'm also pretty sure I'll be losing more up front in the next 10 years. Does getting a HT mean I/you will be forever in need of more operations (until donor hair is depleted?) Thanks, Magnum
  6. Thanks Guys! Spanker- do you know if its possible to do FUE first then strip if needed to get higher yield? Shampoo-how long is the healing period for FUT normally? Thanks again, Magnum
  7. Hi Everyone, For all of you out there that have done this procedure would you say your scars are at all noticeable after the first year or so? 1. Can you or your wife/girlfriend feel them with your/her fingers (little ridge etc.)? 2. Does your hair sit well over them or is there a crease in the way the hair falls? 3. Do you have to tell your barber about the scars and have him/her work around them to make it look natural back there? 4. What in your opinion are the downsides to FUT? Im trying to figure out if I want to stick with my idea of FUE or go with a "possible higher yield" FUT. Im not sure if I'm ready for a permanent scar on my body unless it is truly undetectable. Thanks All, Magnum
  8. Thanks guys. Spex sorry that you'll be away for a bit, we all love your great posts. Glad to hear that feller still does FUE. (sorry about that) He seems to be one of the best. I read that in a post somewhere... I'm happy that it was incorrect.
  9. Hi Joshelstad, Its looks like you didnt have to shave your whole head for this procedure. Is that right? was that because it was a strip method? are you able to comb your existing hair over the transplant area and get away with it? good luck with the growth. Hope it all works out and you're happy in the end.
  10. Hi all, Who do you think are the best FUE doctors in the world in 2012? I heard that Feller isn't doing them anymore. Is that true? I'm looking for density and natural hairlines.... What do you think? M.
  11. Thanks Janna. Its just that I look really bad with my head shaved for some reason. Maybe Ill find some free time in the next year or so, and just go for it. Spanker: Im 42 years old and have been taking Propecia on and off for the last 7 years. I'm pretty sure it has slowed my hair loss, but I guess there will be more loss in the future. I really would rather avoid a scar on the back of my head though, even if it means saving for another year for a good FUE and going underground for a bit. Thanks all for the helpful answers! M.
  12. Hi Guys, I'm a long time reader but this is my first post. As you can see in the photos right now I hide my receding hairline pretty well (unless the wind blows etc.) 1. I am thinking about possible FUE and I'm wondering what you guys think would be a rough guess of how many FUE hairs I would need? (all comments are welcome!) 2. Is there anyway I can get through a FUE operation without shaving my head, doing some comb over and doing and a slit (?) shaving in the back so the shave is covered? I know its asking a lot but 6 months out isn't possible and I would LOVE to try to get through this without anyone knowing. Thanks for the great site! M.
