  1. This is great, thanks. You were right, I was asking about the frontal temporal angle...the post op picture on slide 1 has the straight vertical of grafts that I was talking about.
  2. Don't stress. It doesn't kick in overnight... i regularly take 6 months off and my hair never suddenly falls out.
  3. Hope things are just starting for you now! Would appreciate updates, Hattingen is my top choice for my next HT in a couple of years so interested to see how this turns out.
  4. Thank you for your reply Dr. Good to hear that it won't affect things too much. I wear my hair very long so I'm hoping that the way it falls down will help with coverage. Thanks to everyone who replied.
  5. Thanks everyone. Have checked out the links some of you gave - very helpful. I don't think it's right for me to get that triangle peak rebuilt but hopefully a small tweak can be made when I get my crown fixed.
  6. So if you still believed in Santa you might have chosen that name instead? To confirm then - you don't sell any laser products? Thank you for your reply and for the info. It's important to be sceptical in this hair loss world as I'm sure you know, with your years of experience.
  7. Wait, so you are selling things too? I asked you yesterday if you mention PRP and laser therapy in every thread and I thought your user name was a little suspect..... at least you have confirmed my suspicions here. What is your clinic? Who are you? You should be making clear that the services you are speaking highly of (that others don't) is also something that you are selling.
  8. This result below got me thinking about the temples as it is something I want to address. I had a great result with a mature hairline but want to fill in the space that the recession caused in the temples. How many grafts would it take to fill in the 'C' shape on the temple areas that forms after you recede pretty badly? The space in between a mature conservative hairline and the sides.......sort of connecting it all back up. I've realised that I don't need my hairline lowered, but connecting the side to the top would give me the effect I want. The result below is close to what I mean. It has a vertical line of grafts on each side that fills in the C. I hope I'm making sense...
  9. Nice. I like those 2 lines that come down from hairline to the temples and really closes it all up, that's something I hope to have done. How many grafts is it each side?
  10. I have been on and off fin for years as a strategy to never get too used to it. Fin hasn't lost effectiveness for me after 11 years....i don't know if it's natural or if it's due to the breaks I've had. I go through cycles of my hair looking great, then taking anywhere up to a year off, have my hair start to look thinner again and then go back on fin and repeat the cycle. There was a time when I took 1 or 2 duta tablets a week because I switched to a generic fin and lost ground.....it worked well.
  11. Fine by me. I got a marketing email so thought I'd share the news as it's something that I know has been discussed for years but not easily available.
  12. Definitely consult with Farjo then, if that's the case.
  13. You're in great shape hair-wise for almost 40 if that's the extent of your loss. It's significant enough to justify a HT but without the considerations many have like being too young or having too big an area that needs work. From first viewing you look like a classic case of 2,000 / 2,500 grafts on the hairline and frontal third and looking 15 years younger.
  14. Cancel it. They might be a good clinic but no-one here can verify it.... many of us have been here for over a decade and if we haven't heard of them, why choose them over a clinic with a long track record of results? You've found this place at the right time....sit back, read and absorb as much information as you can for 3 to 6 months before you make any decisions. Dr Arshad in Leeds is your best starting point but there are so many elite doctors in Europe, do some research.
  15. I'm going to sign up again with the username "Ketchup" and start recommending ketchup as a hair loss remedy to people on here.
  16. A doctor I find to be very reputable doesn't rate PRP highly....his views are good enough for me. You could try stronger minoxidil or adding topical dutasteride once or twice a week on top of what you're doing? You could try microneedling with a 1mm needle...they're about £10 on Amazon so worth trying. I saw good regrowth from that and topical fin/minox. Or maybe take some photos now and again in 6 months and see if there is much difference before you try anything?
  17. Take pics in this exact same angle/lighting every 6 months and compare them to know for sure.......but it looks pretty damn enviable to me.
  18. For anyone interested [edit] heard this product mentioned over the years but never looked into it so I can't comment on its effectiveness or safeness. I do get my topical fin/minox from Minoxidil Max though so can vouch for the seller. https://www.minoxidilmax.com/ru58841
  19. Amazing timing.... I just got an email from Minoxidil Max that they now stock it so I came here to share. https://www.minoxidilmax.com/ru58841
