Hair Transplant Mentor™ in Europe & Turkey
HARIRI replied to JoeTillman's topic in Open Hair Loss Topics
Dear Joe I really salute you for entering the Turkish HT industry and try to make some improvements towards better quality and doctors involvement in HT surgeries. We really need Doctors clinics than just Technicians clinics such Estethica etc.. I went to meet Joe at Istanbul as I was their for a family visit too and met him with Dr. K. I was really impressed how Dr. K is very passionate in HT science and considers all details. Its really hard to see a surgeon that does all extractions and incisions without any help from technicians. He is really a surgeon that loves to do thing on his own just like Dr. Bisanga. Technicians only do the implanting. They are very serious while working and well discipline. My deal with the Dr. K was only to extract the remaining bad grafts (80 grafts) under my repaired hairline which Dr. Hakan couldn't extract due to their large number (200 grafts). I was impressed that he used 0.5mm punches which left very little dots with less bleeding. We also discussed about my 1cm thick scar as most of the 600 chest grafts which were implanted to it by Dr. Hakan didn't grow and this is because of the thickness of my scar and weakness of chest hair. Maybe if I used beard hair it could have been much better. However I was keeping my beard hair for my scalp in the future. So I found out after a long scientific discussion that a strip scar revision without aiming any grafts is the only answer. I was really worried to go under the knife but this all changed after seeing a live case of strip scar revision patient who had the exact scar I have recently. His results were outstanding and gave me a huge push and courageousness to do it. Thankfully out of nowhere Dr. K offered it to me after checking my laxity. Now after getting rid of my old scar tissue I feel like removing a ton of depression from my head. I really thank you Joe for considering our region and try your best to improve the HT industry as Turkey is considered as the 2nd capital of FUE after Belgium maybe. I respect the idea of your dealing with Doctors who are ONLY recommended by HTN and IAHRS. Keep it up Joe -
Urgent Consumer Alert by ISHRS
HARIRI replied to Ali Emre Karadeniz's topic in Open Hair Loss Topics
ISHRS is purely commercial. Any HT surgeon can apply for it, my ex-butcher is a member there. I would only trust HTN and IAHRS when it comes to HT surgeon selection, they are the only 2 trusted organizations. -
Sean made good comment. I'm really curious to see the updates. Planting grafts in hairless area will really give us a clear idea about the yield of this surgery also it will shows us clearly the angles and hairline design. Keep it up Doc. By the way Dr. Hakan, Does PRP really works? Do you see real improvement with it? Just wondering.

Good luck swooping. AHD Clinic work improved a lot since moving to their new location in a professional hospital. I feel that this patient will have very good result. Dr. Hakan is very well known of his generosity and free services, that I truly admit. Muslum and Mustafa are continuing to give great customer service. Keep it up Dr. Hakan :-)

Dr Rahal disappointed with FUT 5400+ grafts
HARIRI replied to theflyer's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Dear theflyer, your situation is similar to mine a bit. My surgery result was a bit poor for 2500 grafts in such a hairline area gave me less than 40 density while on paper it was 53 plus my right hairline side is much thinner than left one. The thing is that its very risky to do it again in same clinic as mistake could be repeated. Bare in mind that my surgery was FUT which means it should yield better. For this reason I strongly advice you to search for another professional surgeon to fix you up and not take the risk again. Money is gone and I understand that but nobody wants to be bitten twice. The problem with FUT at Rahal clinic that the Doctor is involved less and accepts more than a surgery at once, for example the same time I had surgery there was an Australian who had 4000+ mega session. I'm so sorry to see your result and I can feel what you feel honestly regarding the donor loss and money -
Congrats Dr. Bhatti. One of the best results I have seen by Dr. Bhatti. Its an Asian FUE with European quality. Dr. Bhatti is and will always be my no.1 FUE Asian choice, you really need to open a clinic in the Middle East or deal with some hospitals in Bahrain or UAE or Saudi Arabia as a visitor. Keep it up Doc.

16th December,2014 Dr. Hakan Doganay 2500 Grafts FUE

Great hairline design. Now its time to wait and judge :-) -
Lorenzo, Feriduni, or Bisanga for FUE with buzz cut?
HARIRI replied to Matt27's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
When it comes to mini perfect extractions I would strongly recommmend Dr. Bisanga as he is using minimum size manual tools and does all or most of the extractions by himself. His own representative is shaving his head after many transplants (Stephen). Also one of my ex collegemates had HT with him and recently shaving his head with an amazing natural look. This is my golden advice. Good luck Buddy. -
Dear Dr. Karadeniz I congratulate you for being the 3rd Turkish Surgeon to be recommended in the forum. Your work is really outstanding and you look very honest educated and your English is very clear which will be your main advantage as well. I do have some questions that I will be very happy to hear you answering them, 1) What type of FUE extractions are you using? Manual or Motorized? If Motorized then which tool is used? 2) How much percentage of extraction / incision / implanting are you personally doing on your own per session? 3) In body hair transplant using beard hair, is your extraction manual only or both? 4) What is your FUE price rate per graft for normal scalp and beard hair? Thank you and congratulations again Doc :-)

Hands Down. Dr. Umar is the best there was the best there is and the best will ever be. I have never seen a FUE surgeon that can utilize BHT better than him. Actually he developed his tool in a way to extract the Body graft successfully. If I was an American or living in USA, he will be my No.1 choice. He is very clear and honest in documenting his results. Check out his YOU TUBE page. Dr. U - YouTube

4065 Grafts Dr Hakan Doganay! Australia To Turkey!

Looking really good. What a great hairline you got right now. Were the 4000 grafts implanted in one session or two sessions (Two different days I mean)? Please let me know. Congrats again -
4,500 FUE Dr Hakan Doganay 07th March 2014
HARIRI replied to BFA316's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
I had only 2500 grafts with Dr. Rahal and took me 10 months to see the real results. Most likely by month 8 you should see all the grafts out without any empty areas otherwise it will be considered a failed graft like what I had with my right side. Especially if used some beard grafts as they grow in slower rate. Also Im not a believer in mega sessions whether they are FUE or FUT sessions. Its always preferable to divde them into different surgeries and in different years as nobody knows how much blood supply you could achieve to feed the grafts. Also if it was a mega session I think its a big mistake to have them done in one day. Many top HT doc will never do more than 3000 grafts in one session especially when it comes to FUE. This is my personal opinion. This is me Im not a risk taker and never gamble with my precious grafts in a one go. -
Great FUE work Dr. Doganay. I really like how the grafts distributed in order to give a better coverage. The usage of Beard hair really helps especially in the crown area due to the thickness of the grafts. Based on what I know from my last phone call to the clinic is that all beard grafts are extracted manually by a professional nurse while the scalp grafts are extracted by motor most likely SAFE system. If I'm wrong then please correct me.

To be honest, NO. My right side is finer than left side, I can see almost 25% thinner or maybe more. Check my last uploaded photos in the thread, my recent situation is exactly the same.

BHT in general grows slower than scalp hair. Scalp hair needs 6 months while Beard around 8 months and Chest up to 12 months sometimes like in my case. Also it depends if its transplanted in virgin areas or repaired areas.Virgin areas tend to grow much faster with greater yield. Bhatti is great Asian BHT doctor actually the best FUE surgeon in Asia in my opinion beside another one that I cant mentioned his name in this forum but starts with letter A. Dr. Bhatti's BHT result were great if you google it up. Good luck buddy.

Jotronic leaving H&W, joining Rahal & promoting FUE!
HARIRI replied to HARIRI's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
MoMo542, nothing personal. He applauded Dr. Wong and said great things about him. Its just that he wants to develop more in the HT industry and enter the FUE world which is now globally most popular. He tried many times to introduce FUE into H&W but it didn't work out. So I totally understand why Joe left. Good luck Joe and wish that you take Dr. Rahal's FUE to another level and correct all the strip issues they have by implementing H&W elite scar less strip techniques. -
What a shocking news! After 10 years with H&W, you have finally changed the clinic. You will now have chance to be involved in the great FUE industry instead of directing them to Dr. Lorenzo. Although I'm not in good terms with Rahal based on my last surgery back in 2011 however all what I can say that he is damn lucky to have you as a representative. I'm very happy for you and you were are and will always be my hair loss mentor. Hope you could solve ARTAS FUE yield issues and introduce BHT in the clinic to bring Rahal to another level.

Hi Guys I heard from a balding hair loss show days ago that Jotronic (Joe Tillman) who is my favorite hair loss mentor and clinic representative changed his views about FUE and started promoting it after seeing great results close to FUT in the industry which made him resigns from H&W and find another clinic that endorses FUE method. However I couldnt hear the interview well because of the internet streaming. I guess I heard that he will be working for Dr. Rahal from Canada? Can anyone confirm this to me? Thanks.

If BHT was your last resort who whould you chose?
HARIRI replied to AGL77's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
If budget is not my concern then I will rank them in the following:- 1) Dr. Umar from USA 2) Dr. Bisanga from Belgium 3) Dr. Maras (HDC clinic) from Cyprus 4) Dr. Hakan Doganay from Turkey 5) Dr. Bhatti from India There are my favorite BHT surgeons based on the results I have seen. Good luck buddy.
