Luis Pare, Great thread buddy. OMG what a huge scar you got! I wish grafts will grow well so I can shave your head to any length and feel flexible.By July most of your scalp hairs will be out and by September most of your beard hair will grow especially the ones in the scar. Keep us updated especially with your scar photos and regards to Philippines :-)

Good Luck Buddy. Please demand for manual extractions as motorized is not that successful with body hair. Actually the clinic recently decided to do manual extractions for any BHT however its a just a reminder. Wish you all the growth. Keep us updated

Same here, Im Arab-Turkish so you can imagine. My chest gave almost 700 grafts although many of them grew back because extracting them with motor is very hard. But keep in mind that Beard hair is the best for covering scars because its robust and thick but it grows slowly as it may need 8 months to be seen after surgery. My scar got well covered except the right side where some of them didnt grow and thats because of depth of my scar or the weakness of chest grafts as they arent as strong as beard. Dr. Hakan recently switched to manual FUE for BHT and soon for scalp so you are pretty safe now.

I know that many will disagree with me but personally I find that Dr. Umar is the king of BHT. I admire the way how utilizes Body hair with high yields. Bisanga comes second. However if you are in North America then go with Umar and if you are in Europe then go Bisanga. Both are well experienced in using Body hair especially Beard :-)

I'm sure you will get great growth for many factors among them the full supervision of Dr. Koray Erdogan in your surgery and your virgin scalp condition. Basically I heard that Dr. Path is not involving in the surgeries fully. He depends on his techs and his assistant doctor (Thai female) in the surgery maybe due to age issue. I heard that from his Australian ex patient who had poor yield too. In my opinion its very important that the main Doctor does at least 50% of the work otherwise it will be just a brand!

Basically you cant compare between them as they have totally different technique! Hakan does FUE, Dr. Path does FUT! So it depends if you want to be cut and a flesh will be removed from the back of your head then Path is your man. In my opinion, I believe more in FUE these days, FUT became something from the past. Look at the forum now, you rarely see a FUT result posted lol

Yaz89 I salute your update and documentation. I wish every Turkey HTN patient does that whether with Erdogan or Hakan as most of them stop posting after certain time. Glad to see your hairline growth as planned. Indeed manual FUE is the best.

Well basically the difference is that Bisanga uses manual extraction when performing BHT while Doganay uses a normal motorized tool so in this way BHT success rate with Bisanga is better. This basically what made Dr. Hakan Doganay decides to switch to manual for BHT and soon for all types of HT as he really wants to switch to manual FUE by the end of this year.

I agree to that fact but disagree when it comes to beard hair as they are very robust and healthy grafts. In my case my left side of scar got perfectly covered but the right side lets say 50% yield maybe. Bare in my mind that these were 100% chest grafts. I didnt use my beard grafts as I'm preserving them for future crown covering if one day my main donor got depleted God forbid. Also one of the main reason of poor yield is when body hair get extracted using motorized tool because the directions of grafts are different than scalp thus Dr. Umar created his own motorized tool (U-GRAFT). Check this video out and you will understand.

Here you go. Here is my chest. I extracted 700 grafts from my chest but not all of them were extracted successfully as some grew back. Its normal because a motorized tool was used on me thus if you ever think of BHT make sure that they will be removed manually. By the way, Dr. Hakan from now and on uses only manual extractions for BHT.

I agree with you on this one. ASMED clinic should present Pre Op dry hair photos in their posted results otherwise its quite misleading. Wet/Dry hair is a big difference in density illusion.

Great result, By the way, I heard you are going to go manual soon. If that's so then you will very similar with Dr. Lorenzo technique (Manual extractions + Choi implanter). Wish this happens soon :-)

Great hairline and coverage in only 7 months. The grafts are well distributed around the balding zone. Manual FUE indeed has higher successful rate than motorized. I really wish other recommended clinics switch to manual in order to reach to this success of yielding. Well done Dr. Erdogan :-)

Good Luck dragonfly2014, you made a great choice. In my opinion, Dr. Bhatti is the best FUE surgeon in Asia. Hope you got the premium package where a new imported Harris punch used. One of my best forum friends had a mega BHT session with him 6 months ago using beard and chest hair along with what is remaining from his scalp donor and he is happy with the outcome so far.

If you are looking for FUE then Dr. Bhatti is the best in the list based on the results I have seen. If you are looking for FUT then Dr. Path is the right one as he is recommended here and a coalition member too.

Thanks Matt Skiba, I 100% agree with you. I suffered a lot with Finasteride and the sides got worse after 6 months that I started to experience the first ED ever. It took my time to recover after quitting it however it really gave good result for my hair. Right now I'm using GNC standardized Saw Palmetto extract as an alternative which is at least better than nothing along with Minoxidil 5%. Thanks again for this useful thread. God bless you.

I know that Turkey looks attractive and safer however when it comes to surgeon's work I will lean towards Dr. Bhatti from India. In Turkey I would only trust Dr. Hakan and Erdogan so far!
