    I was wondering the same thing, I think. When having your HT can the existing follicles be damaged by punching a hole too close to it?

    Don't you think he should wait a bit before making such as harsh judgment? Or at least let the scabs come off? Just seems too early to write it off. Maybe one of the Docs can comment. Good luck!

    Speegs, I can tell you that I had 2000 grafts in the same area you did and I am now 4months post op. Mine looked just about the same as yours at 13 weeks. the best growth for me is JUST NOW occurring. It was a bit discouraging when I would see other guys at 3 months with a lot more hair than I had, but I am feeling better all the time. My hairs seem to be thin as well but they are progressing better than they were just 2 weeks ago. Some of us just start off a little slower than others. Smile and just sit back and let it happen.     Depends on the individual. Unless you wear your hair short or pulled back it probably doesn't matter, but most have lines are somewhat uneven. I like something in between smooth and uneven.

    Any thoughts from those taking Finasteride? I just started Avodart (dutasteride).

    My scar site is still slightly tender after 4 months and above that is still numb with a little feeling coming back. I started back in the gym at 4 weeks after surgery. No stretching.

    What about Durasteride, Avodart? I really detest putting Rogaine in my hair. It just messing it up and looks terrible. Only option is only do it at night.

    Thanks for the info. Makes me wonder why would anyone take Finasteride?

    I also would consider my growth slow for 4 months. My hairs are thin and wispy, nothing like the hair from the area they were taken from. I have been told to give it 6 months. I just hope something kicks in here in the next few weeks.

    Don't you have any growth? You must have something. Mine has just started to show signs of growth at almost 16 weeks.

    I was told Rogaine doesn't work on the front of the head by the hairline, why is that?? How do users cope with this stuff? It makes my hair look & feel terrible, so much that I can only use it at night. YUK! Thanks Russ

    I sure didn't want to hear either. I read the work by spex and that makes a little more sense.

    If you have shock loss of native hair after HT will it all come back? How long can it last? Can it last 3 months before coming back assuming that it will come back? Thanks, Russ
