You are right, he had but it wasn't successful. As y'all know, even with the best surgeon of the world, the transplant results depend mainly on your donor area. Bcoz he is a very good looking and famous celeb, everyone wants to take credit. Recently I saw an Indian magazine claiming that he had NYLON hair transplant...you know that is ridiculous. So, plz don't base your info on these tabloid schmucks.

I am surprised that many of you are just taking blind guesses to name some doc who operated on Salman Khan. The truth is Salman Khan has not gone under hair transplant. He is wearing a hair piece. My friend is an actor in Mumbai and friends with Arbaaz Khan (Salman's brother). I don't know about Govinda but Salman Khan 100% uses a hairpiece. People who might have gone HT can easily attest to this because getting such dense hair after HT is next to impossible and leaves scars. It is not HT, it is a nice hairpiece.

Thank you guys for all your thoughts. Based on all the inputs, I can conclude that Finasteride is a "DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK" thing and I have decided not to go for HT at this point. To me it is quite ironical that many folks here are ready to squander $4000+ to attract the opposite sex and go for HT but they won't be successful in going past first date if at all they become victims of ED or low libido etc. At the moment I am considering to buy Hairmax Laser comb and even though the reviews of this product is not that great, I just wanna take a chance because so far there are no side effects. I would really appreciate if someone can shed more light on their experiences with laser comb from hairmax (no other company plz). Thank you once again ~A

I am an attractive looking male but have lost lot of hair. I want to go for HT. I am considering to go to India to Dr.Madhu or Dr.Path. Based on the posts on this forum, it appears to me that Finasteride and Minoxidil are given post HT to every patient. I personally know two cases who are suffering from Erectile dysfunction because of Finasteride and Minoxidil. It is well documented that Finasteride and Minoxidil can cause loss of libido and even permanent erectile dysfunction. QUESTION: Can I be given something other than Finasteride and Minoxidil? Please answer. I would rather choose to look horribly ugly than having erectile dysfunction.

Congrats on getting a successful HT. I have read at numerous places that propecia can cause IRREVERSIBLE erectile dysfunction. Can the surgeons prescribe something else instead of Propecia?

Like I said earlier, I am taking prescription shampoo and foam as recommended by the Dermatologist. I have used Nizoral in the past, it works but temporarily. If you stop using it, dandruff will come back. Doctor said there is no permanent cure of dandruff, in fact he was suffering from the same problem. I have seborrheic dermatitis. This is a skin disorder that can happen all over the body but luckily I have only on my scalp.

Nizoral sucks. I am using prescription shampoo Loprox and a foam Olux?? It does help but dandruff comes back once I stop. I think dandruff cannot be cured. I don't know if HT is worth it, if I will lose hair again because of dandruff. Comments?

Hi, First of all, thanks for this wonderful forum. This is my first post. I suffer from chronic dandruff. In course of time, I lost too much hair after applying all available shampoos. Now, I know that dandruff cannot be cured. On Norwood scale I am between V and VI. I have following questions for my fellow friends on this forum: 1. I suffer from dandruff. I am going for Hair Transplant this year (Nov..likely). Will I lose transplanted hair again in 3-5 yrs because of dandruff or will it last for ever or may be 10-15 years at least? [PS- I know that dandruff don't cause hairloss but indirectly it does because strong shampoos make your hair brittle and you lose them in course of this. At least, this happened to me] 2. Recently, I was introduced to Bollywood [indian cinema] by my fellow Indian friends. They showed me an actor called Salmaan Khan with his before and after pics. I was really impressed if that is true. Any idea how many grafts has he done and where has he got it done in India? [This is a question to Indian folks on this forum..not sure if others know this guy.] 3. I am considering coming to India and get HT from Dr.Madhu. I have read good things about him on this forum.
