  1. His crown wasn't entirely gone before he had the fue anyhows and who knows 100% where his grafts were placed and how many, no good speculating on speculation so all we norms can do is go on the befores and afters pictures. So, Bonker, you saying it's a great fue result, as i'm sure you know where i stand on the matter.
  2. A must see, Rooney in the Manchester FA Cup derby, his hair looks great, got length in the hair now and without concealer, i say this because it's raining, he's just scored and pats on his head galore! Just over the 6month mark since his fue. Thoughts? 57mph
  3. Is this is it then Balody, is there plans for a 4th? Looking great though friend! 57mph
  4. incredible! i'm sure anyone coming into their hairloss research clean would consider this a hoax and quite impossible, but here we are, in a 'good result' case the outcome can be really good. So, in theory, i can take all my body hair (including butt hair?) and stick it on my head, science fiction it seems but possible in the right cases? I gather, doing this type of transplant is still taboo in the hairloss community, am i right? Best of luck to the chap that got the work done, and well done to the team involved, i hope the hair holds out and grows well. One more thing, 9000 grafts? how many hairs? Regards, 57mph
  5. Agreed! It's not just H&W being pleased this guy dropped in, it's guys on the forums that get to see the long term results, maybe more so. If it isn't already Jo, it should be policy for H&W to check in on former ht patients at maybe 5 year and 10 year intervals, i think this would be beneficial to all at H&W and potential H&W clients and again for forum members like myself. Well done all. Regards, 57mph
  6. Chris Evans who interviewed Rob Brydon on the One Show (sorry again nonuk guys) just mentioned Rob on his breakfast show, Chris said that he has wanted to speak to a celeb about their hair transplant experiences but hasn't had the chance just yet. Chris Evans is himself obsessed with his hair and has come clean about taking Finastride, anyway, Chris just said that during the rolling of the credits Friday, Rob had asked why he hadn't asked him about his hair, arggghhh!
  7. He had a hair transplant about 3 maybe even 4 years a go so all new growth would have been clear over a year after that procedure and i was keeping a close eye on his progress out of interest to see how he got on then seeing him recently in hd, well i presumed he must have gone for a second ht as like i say his hair has thickened up a great amount. That said, if he had have gone to the Farjo Clinic (i can't find anything on the net, Spex, you allowed to divulge?) then all he's done to get the density is, he's gone twice right? 57mph
  8. would like to try and make this, be one of the newbies in the crowd! 57mph
  9. Alexdelarge, I had to find a new barbers as my usual guy moved away (the selfish swine, haa) so felt anxious about the prospect of finding someone new. It took me several awful visits to a number of places before i found the right guy for me (but he moved away, argh) and i'm more than sure i would have the same troubles again this time round, so i can sympathise with you! Not only has the barbers got to have the mirrors at the right angles, mood lighting, not look troubled at tackling a thin head of hair and finish the job best they can in the quickest time possible, it'd be preferable if they themselves suffered from mpb, haa, no trouble at all right? I did find a new guy and feel totally at home with giving him my blading head to work on, i built it up to be something it wasn't but i did get lucky with finding this new barber. Regards 57mph
  10. Rob Brydon, his hair looks amazing, he has great donor hair and i know he's had one ht to date, just wanted to know your thoughts on him having had a possible second procedure, i will guess yes. He was on The One Show today (sorry nonuk guys) and in hd his barnet looks simply great, heck he could go for a 3rd if he wanted but if he han't hair greed he can get along with what he has in my opinion. Anybody not familiar with him can do a simple internet search to see the change from year to year. 57mph
  11. '...Mr. Hall contends a “moderately successful” clinical trial would result in a 10% increase in hair growth in six to 12 months, which would be equivalent to Rogaine, the first topical FDA-approved product to re-grow hair in both men and women. A “very successful” trial, he figures would result in a 10% to 15% increase in hair growth in six to 12 months, which is equivalent to Propecia, the only FDA-approved, once-a-day pill to help reduce dihydrotestosterone, a key cause of hair loss. An “extremely successful” trial would be a 20%-plus increase in hair growth in six to 12 months, he adds.' There's only 10 men and nine women in the study! So from reading this, if there is just 2 men and perhaps one woman that show positive results from these trials, that's considered ''extremely successful'? I didn't want to be blinded by sceince over the figures that's all.
  12. i just caught a climpse of the fake Wayne Rooney hair transplant on youtube, it's a classic, they have the lookalike ouching in pain as the hairs go in, it's worth a look for a little laugh if you've time, who bothers makin' these fake vids, saying that i'm glad they did, as it is funny.
  13. Important thread Spanker and informative answers mahhong. Tough calculation isn't it hairloss and hairgain, just got to do the revision and find a good (and the right) calculator to help us out before the big exam!
  14. ...All ...The ...Time it becomes an obsession in guessing their age, norwood, chance of balding and over what an amount of time, the way they act with it etc etc etc. At the moment a chap at my work place is a diffuse thinner like myself and i've seen his progression over the last couple of years, i compare my hair with his and also wonder if he (of course he must have right?) has looked into what he can do about it. But, of course we couldn't possibly chat about it as we'd expose ourselves as caring far to much (according to normal society) about our male selves! Anyway, i must get back to staring at strangers hairlines or lack of. Regards, 57mph
  15. i wondered the exact same thing and also why would anyone choose it as their profile pic, nothing against the guy but it's some random dude posing like his life depended on it, so why choose it?! It's the collars-up that gets me, classic. ...and another thing, the profile pic you're given when you join up by default (that's if you bypass the choice of pics) is some abstract upper body snap of some man with the thickest head of hair nobody on here has! answer to my questions is: upload your own profile pic, which i will go round to doing. 57mph
  16. Wayne Rooneys result (so far) looks great, it get's better from week to week. With the recent sending off and subsequent match banning he's back to his old self, which make's me think he's pleased with the results as that's what we all want eh, get back to our normal selves before the hairloss yeah? rws, i'm chuffed for you, looking good fella! ...get a good result and a result you were after here in the uk, woh, that's going to confuse quite a few members on this forum as some are soon ready to bash that idea, haa. Regards, 57mph
  17. They did wonders for Irelands very own James Nesbitt and if it didn't go well he had more to lose than his hair! Like i say a consult doesn't hurt anyone other than a pub landlords takings, but you gotta do what you gotta do which is best for you, so fair enough. Onwards and upwards, 57mph
  18. Ireland78, you ever considered HRBR in Ireland, you can always go for a consult with these guys (and only a consult at this stage of your research) to see what they have to say? ...this only useful if you are indeed based in Ireland as your profile name suggests... but, your surname could be Ireland and you live in Austrailia i don't know... good luck buddy, 57mph
  19. Hey buddy, what a top result! Simply ...quite simply, amazing. 57mph ps. PM you (again, haa) shortly ...i'm back online.
  20. Hey uk, i gotta say i'm struggling here, my laptop has gone on strike and i'm on my smart phone typing this (not fun, haa!) i sent you a msge but you say it was blank, try scrolling right down in the msge, anything then?

  21. Hairmee, it was like reading what i am always thinking! Threads like this i hope helps people think 'jeezs, i'm totally not alone with this hairloss thing...' and i hope me saying that helps you know, that, you're not on your own mate. I take a small amount of comfort (sorry for saying this) that someone is always worse of than yourself, and in some tiny mixed up way, it helps. Hope i make sense. Regards, 57mph
  22. Bonkerstonker, i thought/knew you were jokin! Answer to your qs, the whole hair game is a trick of the mind type thing (you know that like the rest of us) but i know where you coming from but then hey this is what the forum is all about ...to filter the rubbish from the truth, educate yourself and protect yourself right?
  23. DISpHAIR, my post wasn't directed directly to you no, but to everyone who might be reading the thread, that's how forums work you see. If i was directly speaking to you i'd have pm'd you or at the very least started my post with you profile name (see my post here for clarification) but never mind. Ok, so back to thread...
