Hello all, I wanted to put a question out there, from the title line you'll know what it is, a simple question but of course the answers and opinions are probably not. All research done, HT surgeon chosen, money aside and all that personal stuff... When is the very best time to have a HT? - when you've just started thinning? - you've been thinning for a while, you're on Finesteride and you think it's stabalised but want extra thickness? - you've gone past the thinning stage and though the drugs maybe working you'd like to get it done before people could notice they you've had a HT stage (if that makes sense)? - you're completely bald and you know what you're dealing with? etc etc The answer list is endless i guess but i'd like peoples opinions and i think the only people that know the score are the people that have had a HT done! Hi Hairthere, Not sure i understand your post, are you not happy with the first 2 Hts, this 3rd, the way they all went, the way this recent one went, what/which is it? ...you anxious about the results of the HTs or the result of the last HT, i don't get it. i really hope it's the fact you're going through the waiting game again on this latest HT, that right? regards,

i think we're all slowly going away from the original post which is very easily done, myself included! anyway, for those of you in the UK and like to know about celebrities getting HTs, look out for Chris Evans on the breakfast show on Radio 2, he mentions his hang-ups on the thinning subject quite often and i'm almost certain from the hints he keeps making that he will go ahead with a HT fairly soon, i so hope he does because he's the sort to come clean about the procedure, this morning he asked Elton John (of all people) about his hair and what he, Elton thought he should do. ...and as one person mentioned Prince William, well if the future King of England gets one done before his huge wedding, then that will be fantastic and well give us all some well deserved inspiration. michaelh

For those of you that don't know James Nesbitt, he's a well respected actor in the UK and has recently come clean about his HT, i wanted to say how much i respect James Nesbitt for doing so (not that he's gone into great detail about the procedure (x2), that doesn't matter) as i'm sure it helps us all in gain the confidence most of us lack in coming to grips with hairloss. The more 'celebrities' that come 'out of the hairloss closet' the better in my opinion, it helps us face the fear head on. Anybody else know of any celebrities/well know faces that have gone the HT road, i only want to know the ones that have told their story under their own free will. Thanks,

hello, i had the same exact problem here, worried about my usual looking tab then trying another provider and the propecia tab looking so very different. I started on Propecia (as that's the original big boy right?) it came in a smart looking box, leaflet inside and each tab was terracota in colour and 8 sided with PROPECIA written on one side and the big P on the other, each pack is a weeks worth with the days on each pop-out, i was happy with this. Recently i ordered Finasteride (hey, it was cheaper!) through another site and this time it came as packets of tabs X10 and looked all very nonproffesional if you know what i mean, ok still had the 1mg amount required but this time as a small round white tab, Prohair is the manufac, yeah i know tablets come in all shapes and sizes of the same drug but it just didn't seem right. I soon got to ordering my usual Propecia pack and put the new lot of tabs to one side. any of you have the same sort of troubles, any advise? Thanks for reading, regards, 57mph

Hello all that read this, I've signed up to Propecia! so i hear you ask what's the big deal, well after researching hairloss (jeezs, anyone else hate that phrase?) i am actually going ahead and playing with the big boys toys. ok, i asked my docotor about Propecia and like all good doctors told me to think about the pros and cons of taking such a drug (i have and about a gazillion times already), and of course had my best intentions at heart, i went a way without a prescription, but here i am in the magic land of internet and a proud owner of an 'on-line' prescription to Propecia aka wonder drug! just had to post my first post that's all. Any advice, comments and/or well anything will be lovely ta, m
