  1. I've never even heard of topical Finasteride. Will ask my doctor about this. Would love to go off of oral Propecia and not worry about losing more hair
  2. Been taking Propecia since 1997. In 2007 I started experiencing sides such as ED, low libido, loss of morning erections, etc. In 2015 my libido is basically gone. My testosterone levels went to 200. My estradiol went to 70 (way over the limit for a man). Within the last few weeks I started seeing a MD who has given me Clomid to increase T levels and Aromatase Inhibitors to decrease estrogen. Almost immediately I had morning wood after years of not feeling it. It's not daily and strong like I used to be. Propecia could be the root cause of male sexual dysfunction that I am experiencing. I am debating weening off it by taking half a tablet for a week, then a quarter of a tablet and so on until I can get off it. I'm terrified of losing my hair. I've noticed a lot more hair falling out after taking the Clomid. My hair stylist noticed as well. He said hair loss due to increase testosterone is permanent. This stresses me out as I'm not sure what to expect once I totally go off Propecia. Can anyone comment on their experiences when stopping Propecia please?
  3. Unfortunately I'm in the same boat. Been taking Propecia since 1997. In 2007 I started experiencing sides such as ED, low libido, loss of morning erections, etc. In 2015 my libido is basically gone. My testosterone levels went to 200. Almost immediately I had morning wood after years of not feeling it. It's not daily and strong like I used to be. After doing some research I now see how Propecia could be the root cause of male sexual dysfunction that I am experiencing. 4. JustOne, which services are you planning on getting done with Dr. Nigam? BHT, hair multiplication or donor doubling?
  5. I have been looking into this. I have been researching Dr. Bhatti in India for the same. I would love to go to Dr. Umar but finances are a concern right now. Looking forward to seeing the results.
  6. Very nice doc. Would you recommend saving scalp donor hair and using some body hair away from the hairline to achieve this same type of result?
  7. Check your blood sugar asap. ED can be caused by diabetes. Also if you have sleep apnea this could lead to ED as well
  8. Hi doc...any updates on leg hair? I'm interested in placing BHT into my scar but want to preserve as much scalp hair for my crn if needed in the future.
  9. This video is great! Thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to the chest to scalp video. Any idea if we will see leg hair video as well? I know Dr. Umar did a hair line with leg hair. Looked good.
  10. I noticed the pics are removed as well. I am seriously considering beard hair into my 7mm scar so would love to see pics as well.
  11. Over the past 4 years my blood workup has shown that my serum testosterone levels have dropped significantly from 463 to 230. Over this same period my blood sugar skyrocketed for which I am not taking meds for to control as of this year. I have lost a considerable amount of hair over the past 4 years. I am considering taking a topical solution testosterone supplement and was wondering how this may affect my hair. Does anyone have any similar experiences with testosterone supplements and its affect on hair loss/gain? I have been contemplating going in for a consult for more surgery (last surgery in 1994) but don't want to jump the gun if testosterone supplements can help regrow some of my hair if my T levels normalize. Thoughts?
  12. WOW!!! How many grafts/cm2 do you think this is? Just incredible work. If the patient continues to lose hair how many grafts can you extract to blend in his high density hairline with the rest of his head?
  13. Thanks EJ. Wow...I didn't realized so many hairs can be used from beard hair. 5000 beard hairs, which I've read are 2-3 times the thickness of head hair, could then cover about 100 cm2 on our heads assuming 50 grafts/cm2? Even if used as filler hair (which is what most seem to recommend here) that seems like really good coverage. Does your beard hair take on the characteristics of your natural head hair or does it appear different (more coarse)? Is the growth rate and cycle the same as your natural head hair? Have you seen any pitting or scarring in the areas in your beard where FUE was done? I wouldn't mind removing beard hair around my lower neck as I hate shaving that area (by the Adam's apple). Just curious how low on the neck the doctor can extract from without hitting any arteries or vital structures. Thanks!
  14. When speaking about beard hair can hair be taken safely from around the adam's apple area or only just below the chin? How many beard hairs can be extracted on a typical male? When used as filler what is the best blend per cm2 of head hair and beard hair?
