I will post on here my experience when I’m on a computer and go through everything in depth.  The short of it, I was impressed beyond my wildest expectations on how wonderful I was treated, and how professional and diligent the team working on me was.  Here are some pictures of before and after, and much more to follow when I’m settled back home.

As per EUGENIX price Sheet, seems like you got a custom package which falls somewhere between their Exclusive Package and Premium Package.    From what I heard the hairline slits are a crucial part and it would be better to clarify who these "Sr. Doctors" who will be performing the slits/incisions and how many years of experience constitutes to be considered senior.  I was also quoted a custom package between Premium Package and Super Premium Package which is costing me about 15k USD excluding the flight for 4500 grafts.  Not trying to hijack your thread, but I would be interested in feedback comparing Dr, Ankira vs Dr. Priyadarshi's work and if it's worth spending approximately 10k more for Dr. Ankira.

Hello, the forum is open to anyone and I certainly don’t mind if people have questions or things they want to ask.
When I was originally in talks with Eugenix about a year ago I was given the open between three packages on choose the one where I could ask for Dr Priyadarshini, as she is the Doctor I spoke with during WhatsApp calls.  I do not believe it was a custom package as I really only have 3 or 4 options and chose what I felt I could afford without compromising on someone I felt comfortable being under the knife of.  I’ve seen a few posts of Dr Priyadarshini’s work and as a patient of hers I felt I was in the right hands.  I have posted before and after photos if you care to look.  All the best in your search.

@ThePJ it looks super clean.I really liked the hairline. Will be waiting for the detailed write up. But just wanted to know how many grafts for the hairline & temples ?

Each temple point was 500 grafts, and mid scalp was 500 grafts as well.  I’ll get back to you on the frontal hairline as I think more ended up being added towards the end and oddly enough I can’t recall.

Hello again everyone,

The time has come to post on my experience with Eugenix, so without further ado.

2704 Grafts @ Eugenix

As I previously stated, my correspondence was through a man named Rishab, who was able to answer all of my questions and get a team going of himself, a concierge and a few Technologists on the medical team if I had any questions.  From start to finish this team was wonderful and a treat to deal with.  My hotel was booked through Double Tree Hilton in Gurgaon, Delhi.  I arrived at Toronto airport the first day of my trip and missed my flight by two minutes, they had left early and I stood in the line up right beside it, I truely had no one to blame but myself and an ear infection for being unable to hear my name being called.  I immediatly called Air Canada to rebook, they accomodated me for the following night and I got a hold of Eugneix and let them know of my colossal mistake.  They were very understanding and pushed the surgery a day later, which was mind blowing to me that they were ale to do so with such little notice.  I only mention the airport stuff to show how amazing and accomodating Eugneix was, since no one is here to listen to my airport woes.

I arrived in Delhi around 9:00pm their time, and was contacted by the concierge stating a man would be holding up a sign saying "Double Tree, by Hilton"  to take me to my hotel.  I found the man easily enough but contacted the team just to make sure I was not hopping in a vehicle with a complete random.  They confirmed this was the man and then I got into a car with him.  I'm going to list the only three negative things of my entire trip and they all started at this very moment.

1:  This man's english was very poor, he was not able to understand any of my questions and this felt sketchy getting into a car with him even though I had confirmed he was my ride.

2:  I did not know the entire country of India ignored what western society consider good driving habits.  Lines on the road might as well not be there for all the good they do, they are ignored by every single person driving.  Signaling a lane change does not happen, because no lane really exists.  Speed limits are ignored utterly, people cut you off left right and center, and the sound of a horn is heard every two seconds as someone is cutting someone else off immediatly after they themselves just did the same in kind.  It is chaos on a scale I was not prepared for and had me more nervous than the 16 hour flight I had just gotten off of.

3: The air quality was so poor that it burned my lungs to breathe if I was outside for any length of time.  I'd heard through the grapevine that the air was not so good over there, but it was shocking just how bad it was at certain times of day.

I was then driven (poorly, in my opinion, but perhaps he is good by their standards) to my hotel which was 45 minutes away from the airport.

Double Tree is a gorgeous hotel, and it's opulence is evident before you even enter the building.  Shining marble surrounds everything, and it is hand polished to such a degree you can see your refection in it.  For new people heading to India I will also mention that there are several buildings in the immediate vicinity that are derelict and decrepit, which is weird to see around such a nice building.  I found this was what much of Gurgaon looks like.  This is just an observation but it caught me off guard and I will post it here just to let others be mentally prepared that you will see such stunning beauty surrounded by neglect.

So I exit my ride and immediately my bags are taken by the crisply dressed hotel staff and they take my luggage through an x-ray scanner to look for weapons, I am also then checked for weapons.  I felt really safe that this was in place before you could even enter the building.  I then proceeded to check in, which went smoothly, most of this had been handled by Eugenix.  Eugenix paid for two of my nights while I paid for the rest out of pocket for a very reasonable price (about $100 CAD each night, which is insanely cheap for a 5 star hotel with an included breakfast each day).  I was escorted up to my room and was VERY happy with my accomodations, my room was lovely and I slept shortly after.

The following day my ride texted me through WhatsApp and notifed me that he was there to take me to Eugenix.  I went downstairs and found him very easily.  Eugenix is very close to the hotel, it was under a 10 minute drive.  I was then able to observe my surroundings a bit more and took note of the derelict buildings all around surrounded by nice ones and found that Eugenix is no different.  A security officer got out and guiding me out of the vehicle through the clinic gate and inside of the building. I went into the side door and downstairs.  At this point I felt nervous and paced for quite awhile in silence as no one was really at the clinic at this point.  Reception showed up around 9:30am and spoke with me and let me know the procedure was happening today and escorted me to a waiting room.  I had no agreed to anything or had the hairline drawn out or anything so I was a little miffed this was happening already but reserved judgement until I heard from Dr Priyadarshini.  Several Techs came and took blood, checked blood pressure and tested two types of anesthetic on me to make sure I was not allergic to either type.  I then signed some paperwork and Dr Das (Priyadarshini, I'll call her Das now to shorten it) came in and went over some things and asked my expectations and what I wanted out of this.  I explained I wanted a movie star front hairline with temples and some density given in the mid scalp.  She drew a hairline that we both agreed on, one I was more more than happy with and the surgery was then to be started after I changed and had "before" photos taken and then my head shaved.

The operating room was very clean and had calming music in the background.  7 Technologists (perhaps more at certain points) were part of the team with Dr Das.  All of those members were basically dedicated to me for the next 8 or 9 hours and they treated me like royalty.  I was given anesthetic all over my scalp, the pain being very minimal.  Dr Das did her slits into my scalp while Techs busied themselves aiding her and getting ready to extract donor hair using their DHT method.  At noon I was asked to order any food I was like for dinner, I requested a chicken sandwhich, and it may have been the best one I've had in my entire life.  At the 9th hour everyone was exhausted (myself included) and Dr Das said the surgery would be completed by tomorrow and arranged pick up for me.  Already at this point I had grafts on the mid scalp and some front, but just the design work on my hairline and temples had me ecstatic, it changed my look completely, and for the better, I felt so handsome even though my hair sort of looked like it was half done.  The following day we completed the surgery after 5 hours, and towards the end Dr Das said she wanted to add more grafts towards the rear of the hair line as she felt she could ge more density in there.  I agreed to this, of course, and was delighted she was so diligent in her artistry with my hair.

So, that's it, in a nutshell.  There is so much I'm sure I'm failing to mention that was an absolute positive, and I'm doing them a great diservice by not mentioning every single amazing thing that was done JUST for me, but my daughter is now awake and I have to go parent now.  2700 some grafts, 500 in each temple point, 500 mid scalp and the rest constructing my new hairline.  It looks great so far, the pain was so little, the facility so clean, the staff so polite, diligent and wonderful to be around.  Eugenix staff were amazing from start to finish and I cannot recommend them enough.  I will continue to post monthly on progress with pictures and wish you all the best.  Any questions give me a shout on here, take care.

Whoever did that FUT procedure did an incredible job with the scar. I was legitimately confused with your pictures until now, because I couldn't make one out even on such short hair.

That was literally the only good thing that came out of the first procedure haha.

@ThePJ I’ve just read your detailed write up. Great to see that you had a great experience with eugenix. As you mentioned, there were 7 or more technicians at some certain points. It shows that there were dedicated to a single patient. Are you taking and medicines currently ? And secondly, did you sleep on the bed or the couch after the procedure ?

I am on 1mg of Finasteride, and will be on it for the rest of my life (or until something better comes along). I was also instructed to take a multivitamin with biotin to help strengthen my hair for a 6 month period.  The multivitamin is literally even called Biotin and seems to be available anywhere as an over the counter product.  As for sleeping, I was given a pillow that wrapped around my neck.  The pillow actually allowed me to lay fairly flat on another pillow with coverings on it for the first couple days while I leaked.  This pillow was so firm that it stopped me from being able to turn my head or sleep in any sort of position that would have compromised  any of the work that had been done, so I had fairly normal sleeps in a bed and did not have to sleep in a chair or anything like that.  Once the week passed after the surgery, Eugenix contacted me by email, WhatsApp and by phone to let me know I could now wash my hair and sleep without that pillow, and could now sleep like I normally would.

I assumed I’d have to be sleeping in a chair sitting up, but was pleasantly surprised I did not have to.

@ThePJthank you for the information. Basically in my last procedure, for the first week I slept on the couch& chair. I was thinking that I might’ve to do it again. But after reading your reply, I think this time I will be sleeping on the bed 😀

I also found a way to sleep in many positions without my grafts making contact with anything. Even with the pillows propping me up at an angle, I could twist around and side-sleep sitting up for the first few days. The neck pillow Eugenix provides (which is excellent quality) allowed me to try most positions no problem. I lost more sleep due to jet lag than discomfort.

1st Month

I’ve shed all the transplanted hair.  Not much to say other than I’ve been very happy that Eugenix has kept in contact with me through the whole process letting me know what to expect (such as shedding, but I knew I would lose it all).  Take care everyone, happy growing.

Hello everyone.  Here is month 2.  I’ve buzzed my head to stubble three times over the last month as it looks pretty brutal, but there are definitely new hairs coming up.

@ThePJ

Thank you for providing an update. The shedding phase is still in effect and will last around 90 days from the date of your procedure. Once the shedding period is over, you will notice gradual growth month on month.

We wish you all the best on your new journey. Keep us updated on your progress.

Warmest Regards

I am also considering a buzz cut after few weeks. Did you mainly have a buzz cut into the sides and donor?
