  1. So I’m pasting the reply sent from a Eugenix representative to my concerns. Pretty unimpressed so far that I’ve gotten basically “yah, it’s ok bud, don’t get your hair wet” response. I’ll send my response to that message and all that follows. Hello Sir, Greetings of the day, Thank you for sharing your scalp images sir, as per the doctor's evaluation it is looking fine, your hair growth is good and healthy. Please keep taking finasteride and have a healthy diet. when your hair is wet or oily, it may appear sparse. Kindly keep your hair dry, and it will look fine." So, I’m a bit irritated, but going to wait for the next response. Take care everyone.
  2. Hello everyone. Month 12 is finally here. I haven’t seen much change since month 6. Things look pretty good if I do my hair, but I have to sweep it off to the side (which I violently wanted to avoid). So here are some pics when it’s combed, and when I wake up under a very harsh light. Still very thin in the hairline, I’ll talk to Eugenix and see what my options are and let you all know what transpires from our correspondence, so that if this happens to you, you can know what to expect. Take care everyone !
  3. Happy April everyone. Month 11 is here. Not much change, I’m basically done. I’m pretty happy with the short look, but still feel I could use some density in the hairline. Not much to report! Hope you are all doing well.
  4. Certainly doesn’t bother me and I pretty much agree. If I didn’t have thick skin I wouldn’t be on here haha. I want everyone to see the whole process so that they can make an informed decision.
  5. Thanks for the comparison Melvin. I’m pretty ok with how things look in the mid scalp area. I think some density in the hairline would do a world of difference. But! I’ll keep posting til 12 months and beyond and let everyone know the process that goes along with this when/if the desired results aren’t achieved.
  6. I think you could even look back a month or two on some of those pictures because not a lot has changed other than length.
  7. I highly doubt I’ll be able to slick my hair back very well when it’s this short without it sticking straight up in the air, but I can certainly try tonight when I’m off work and such if I remember.
  8. Couldn’t do the long hair anymore, just looked absolutely brutal. So here is short hair. I’m able to show off the left side a little better now. Keep in mind I also have a thickening agent in my hair right now.
  9. *quick update* Nothing terribly exciting. When I contacted Eugenix they asked that I wait the full 12 months before they wish to decide on anything. Basically what I expected, so while that felt mildly disappointing, it’s no biggy and I get it. Talk to you all next month fellas.
  10. I’ll get in talks with Eugenix and just see what can be done and such. I do appreciate the honesty and I’m glad I’ve been able to share the results with everyone.
  11. I pretty much agree with your statement, “a little pluggy” is a good way of describing how things look. Not ideally an outcome one would aspire for, so I’ll have a talk with Eugenix at the 12 month mark and see what my options are.
  12. Hello everyone, Month 10 is here. Hair is still quite thin, doubt I’ll see much change in the coming two months, but who knows! Happy growing.
  13. Hello, Thanks for sharing your story. I have also had surgery performed by Dr Das and have been using oral minoxidil at 2.5 mg for roughly 9 or 10 months. I do not believe I experienced any shedding due to the medication, but did very noticeably have shock loss about 3 weeks after the surgery. You are going to lose most of your grafts and probably experience shedding even around healthy hair whether you are using the medication or not. So don’t worry about it, you are going to have an ugly duckling phase pretty much no matter what. At 5 months you should see a massive improvement.
  14. Thanks brother. A little disappointed with the see through aspects of it, but waiting until 12 months before I make my final judgement. I can’t imagine it’s going to change much, but one can hope.
  15. I use about a drop the size of a pea called American Crew. Just smooth back my hair with water and put some of that in and let it dry naturally and run a brush through it.
  16. Hello everyone, Month 9 is here. Unquestionably a massive improvement from before the surgery. I’m getting a little worried now that I’m nearing the end that the left temporal region is as thin as it is, right side feels and looks thick. Growing hair out for you all to see and then going for a normal haircut around month 13 or 14.
  17. Holy smokes. When you do those side by sides it’s sure noticeable. That picture on the left is 10 years older than the one on the right hahaha. Thanks Melvin!
  18. I always appreciate your optimism @Gatsby, I sure appreciate it my man. All the best!
