Hello Everyone, Doing about 3ish days early for month 8. Mildly concerned my left temproal region is fairly thin still in comparision to the right side, but going to try remain optimistic as there are still 4 months left. First pictures are pre hair cut during the day, final ones are the first haircut I've had done in about 2 and a half years by a professional! Yikes.

A very small, like the size of a pea, bit of gel called โAmerican Crewโ. Adds a bit of a shine and makes my hair feel smoother, as itโs still quite kinky and rough feeling for now.

Lots of P90X back then haha.

First three are out of the shower, next three are blow dried and last three are with a bit of product. I need a haircut to give my hair some sort of style buuuuuuuuuut I want to see if I can grow my hair out Disney prince style like I used to be able to.

The finasteride is a generic tab that comes in 5mg that I cut into 4 separate pieces using a pill cutter, and its brand is literally just called finasteride. Both are picked up from a pharmacy chain called Pharmasave. The minoxidil is a little different in that I have to get it compounded, but that also happens at that pharmacy. I believe the store brand is called Loniten, but no one can seem to get ahold of it, so thus the compounding. So, I get it at a local store called Pharmasave. (Short answer haha)

You would require a Doctorโs prescription for both, they are not something you can buy off the shelf in Canada.

1mg of finasteride daily, 2.5mg of oral minoxidil and biotin.

Hello everyone, Month 6 is here. Iโve shed a bit of hair in the front it looks like to me. Had my first haircut (not by a professional haha). Hair was getting โkinkyโ as it grew out more in the temples and hairline, pretty sure thatโs normal around this time frame. Looks like I went backwards a bit I suppose. Happy growing!

Better mention I dyed my hair a month ago as it was easier to see what growth I was having if it was all the same color (I'm pretty salt and pepper nowadays). Just so no one wonders why my hair looks darker.

Hello everyone. Month #5 is here. Holy smokes, a TON of growth. Wowza. This is minutes out of the shower, no product, just towel dried.

Hello everyone, Month 4 is here. Seeing lots of growth, under harsh light it looks very thin, normal light settings it looks better, all pictures under harsh light to show what it looks like at its worst. The waiting game is brutal, but I am seeing some results now at least.

Thanks @Melvin- Moderator. Month three is so far pretty anxiety inducing. I appreciate the motivational videos you created about growth/slow growing around this phase, itโs brutal. Your vids help with trying to stay positive with all this. All the best homie.

Hello everyone, Month 3 is here. I see some growth for sure. Under any sort of normal light my hair looks even more thin/sparse. So I have two different light settings for the pictures to show. Just a waiting game now, at the tail end of the shedding phase (I think). Iโve added oral minoxidil to the mix the last two months and Iโll stick with that and see where it gets me with the finasteride combo. No side effects from minoxidil. Wish me luck, the waiting game is pretty brutal now.
