5-Week Update.

I skipped the 1-month update (busy with life & work), attached is the 5-week progress. Shedding is happening, so is growth of native and transplanted hair. Donor is improving slowly, no significant shock-loss that I'm noticing, but there is some for sure. Bread hair in the crown is definitely growing fast, and is noticeably of different texture compared to the scalp hair, I'm sure that will resolve over time. At the 1-month mark, I started using my original-laser-cap (15 mins each day), hopefully that will help with the growth stimulation. Will update next at the 2-month mark.

Photos taken in natural daylight. Happy holidays Everyone!

Month-2 Update

Happy New Year 2023 Everyone! Things are progressing slowly, I'm in the ugly duckling phase, shedding continues, and I've shed all hairline hair that were implanted. Temples have shed a bit as well, crown has also shed a bit. Overall, on track for Month-2 per @Eugenix Hair Sciences , I'm hoping some grafts will start popping this month, fingers crossed!

3-Month Update

Overall on track for 3 months, I'm hopefully moving out of the ugly duckling phase, and looking forward to some growth.

The hairline, and front scalp where hair were transplanted are low in density, and hopefully I'll see some growth there in the coming months. My left temple has shed more than the right, so looking forward to that growth as well. I'll get a trim next week around the ears and back, as you all know those hair grow fast. I'm shedding some hair when I wash/shower, but nothing significant. So far, all looks good, and I'm relieved there is no bad scenario/outcome, @Eugenix Hair Sciences did a good job on my procedure, and I'm excited everyday as hair start popping!

Almost Month#4, will do a more thorough post in a couple weeks, but here is the progress so far...no more ugly duckling!

I'm deliberately focusing on the density gap in the middle where hair were transplanted....looking forward to the growth in the next few months!IMG_6122.thumb.jpg.cd3751382132d5e5437f3c0f9a641b5e.jpg

4-Month Update

I'm making decent progress at month 4, new hair is popping every day, and slowly the density in the transplanted area is getting better. I got a haircut few weeks back, and the back/donor seems to have recovered decently as well. I'll trim it down to a #1 next time to see how it looks, confident it will be just fine. The temples are getting better each day, and the beard hair in the crown are definitely of a thicker texture, but they are all growing out. I'm looking forward to the next few months for the density to get better, and rock my new look :D

What reason do you have to change the colors of the pics?

@ITA The B&W pic was meant to highlight the lack of density in the front center where grafts were transplanted. I've seen new hair popping there in the last couple weeks, and confident it will fill in over the months.

6-Month Update:

The density has improved, but it's also still lacking in the front behind the hairline....so the waiting continues, hoping for the density to fill-in. The crown is getting better, and the beard hair are a bit unruly, hoping for them to jell better in the coming months.IMG_6371.thumb.jpg.41035b7d5b86cc4e2127fe6d002ee220.jpgIMG_6372.thumb.jpg.5a3a247a206ec115f05c30d85a8ddbc7.jpgIMG_6374.thumb.jpg.9575050ed62ebe30ace6bc31fd4bd63d.jpgIMG_6379.thumb.jpg.6c9e798f3277d12e36b5efbde6f06133.jpgIMG_6377.thumb.jpg.5dbd2e2792ca4f5712449aabfb892eb5.jpg
