Hi have you checked the Google reviews on Dr. Yaman’s clinic? Because there’s a tons of negative reviews so just wondering if others have picked up on this?

I wouldn't put my trust in things like reviews on Google because they are very easy to manipulate, unlike e.g. the content available on this forum as the forum is pretty well moderated.

Thats true. Never trust google reviews, as most of them may be fake ones. The most reliable place to search for results is the real independent cases that are posted by forum members.

I wouldn't put it better myself as @gottobestrongsaid. Competition can just easily  create a Google account and give negative reviews. Forum's preferably with related experiences are the way to go.

All of those type of reviews are not a reliable source. Google, trustpilot, Yelp, Facebook etc

We still get suspicious shill “amazing” results posted here by brand new members, but they either get called out or binned off quickly 😂

Ahahaha if the person is lying or trying to fake a review or experience they deserve to get called out. That's how the forum stays impartial and trusted.

Yup we can spot them a mile off. Happens often, seen all sorts of different ways they will try and sneak them in. Never works.

@Leo14

Do you have print screen of the price on WhatsApp? What did they say about pricing?

This isn't a screenshot because the message is so long I would have to post several pics, but I got the same response.  4500 grafts - $2350 for FUE and $3250 for DHI.

This is Fikret Dogrucu director of Dr.Yaman Clinic.  Thank you for your interest and preferring us for consultation.

After carefully examining and considering all photos and information mentioned at your request, Dr. Resul Yaman estimates for your operation about 4500 grafts. Your donor capacity and quality of your hair look good. When you have your hair transplantation, your hairline will be recreated with 2000 grafts symmetrically only by using single hairs to receive a natural look and we will reach healthy looking density on frontal, middle and crown areas. To receive the most healthy and natural result, the density on frontal area should be high. Also Dr. Yaman will increase the density on the midscalp area with 1500 grafts and on crown area with 1000 grafts between your existing hair. Dr Yaman recommends you to start taking Propecia or Finasteride (1mg./daily) minumum 15 day before your operation. If you don't want to take Finasteride or Propecia, in Turkey there are mixture multivitamines including SawPalmetto and Biotin in pharmacies, you can start taking a multivitamine after the operation. Usage of medical treatments is considered as prior condition in under post-operative warranty.

If you go ahead with Dr.Yaman you should arrive to Istanbul 1 day before your operation day. Once you arrive, you are picked up from the airport to clinic for your blood tests and consulatation with Dr. Yaman. After your consultation, we apply PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma ) to implantation area.
PRP helps us for 3 important areas in hair transplantation procedure:
1.Keeping hair roots removed alive longer without any damage.
2.Faster recovery of hair follicles placed and to provide lesser loss
3.To stimulate and boost thin and weak hair follicles.

About charges:
We offer 2 different promotional packages to our patients:

1st Package: DHI with Yaman Implanter for 3250$ including;
* Pre and post consultations with doctor
* Blood analysis and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
* DHI Operation
* Post operative control and cure
* Post operative medicines
* Special shampoo and lotion for the first 10 washing
* First washing by a specialist
* 3 nights 5* hotel (double room-breakfast inc.)
* Transfers (airport-hotel-clinic-airport)

2nd Package: Sapphire FUE for 2350$ including;
* Pre and post consultations with doctor
* Blood analysis and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
* Operation
* Post operative control and cure
* Post operative medicines
* Special shampoo and lotion for the first 10 washing
* First washing by a specialist
* 3 nights 5* hotel (double room-breakfast inc.)
* Transfers (airport-hotel-clinic-airport)

In the operation there are 3 major steps of the surgery which are incisions step, extraction step and implantation step. Incision step is the first step of the operation and it's performed with sapphiere blade by Dr. Yaman. I also confirm that your consultation, hair analysis, hairline design, local anesthesia and incision steps are completed by Dr. Yaman himself too.
Extraction is performed with low speed modified micro motor by our extraction experts. We have 2 extractionist working with us. One of them is Dr. Yaman’s brother Muhammed Ali Yaman who has been working in our clinic for 6 years. The other is Dr. Yaman’s cousin Ufuk Yaman who has been working with us for 6 years. Both have been trained by Dr. Yaman himself personally. They perform only extraction step of the operation.
Implantation is performed in 2 different ways considering the package you choose.

If you choose DHI with Yaman implanter; implantation is perfomed by the implantation team with Yaman Implanter. Dr. Yaman worked on developing Yaman Implanter for 5 years and 2 years ago he took its patent. Since than we have been using Yaman Implanter for implantation step. Our implantation team members have been educated and trained personally by Dr. Yaman himself only to use Yaman Implanter.

If you choose Sapphire FUE; implantation step is performed by Dr. Yaman’s experienced implantation team carefully with FUE technique.

All operations are completed under watch of Dr. Yaman himself. Here you can reach a video of operational steps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USjQOXKa8wY&t=7s

Your bandage for one night is applied at the end of the  procedure and your file is given including recommendations and things to care for to have comfortable night. Your drugs are prescribed to use for 5 days. You may comfortably return to your work or home after the operation.

You should visit our clinic on the next day or 2nd day and your hair should be washed by our nurses. Special lotions and shampoos are used during this washing procedure and you are recommended to wash your hair as instructed for 15 days.

Our priority in our clinic is to meet your expectations completely and to provide the most qualified service by keeping your comfort on top level.
If you have any question I'll be glad to respond them. We're at your service.

Best Regards,
Fikret Doğrucu

Damn that's the exact same message he sent me, the only difference being the amount of grafts. Guess the messages are pre recorded and only change a few aspects based on the patients' needs.

Yeah there's usually off about them. Either the situation that is too good to be true, the lack of info regarding the procedure and how it went or refusing to answer questions. You can spot them easily, which is good ahaha

Yeah, seems like it's just a flat fee now.  I'm so torn on what to do.  I also just heard from Bicer as well.  They told me the same thing, my donor area is limited.  But, they do sound like they would still do 4,000 grafts and I'd need a second session, but would have to wait to see what the donor area allows for that.  Maybe I'm thinking about it all wrong, but if I have to choose, I'd rather the hair be on the top of my head.  I could always wear a close skin fade on the sides to get rid of the concern of the donor area being thin.

That's a good way to sort of hide the donor area being thin. Nowadays it's normal for your hair to be nearly-shaved on the back and have a skin fade on the sides no one would even notice.

As for Bicer, you're lucky. Her assistant told me they can't perform a ht on me as my donor area is not good enough and my hair is thinning so just told me to get on fin/min, which I did but stopped as I mentioned in my first post.

When it comes to making a decisions, I think choosing a ht clinic will always be difficult. You'll always wonder if you picked the best for you, if something could go wrong. I guess we just have to go with our gut and hope it turns out for the best. It's not the end of the world.

If you have sparse donor I think you should rather go for Dr Bicer. Dr Yaman is NOT really known for being the best with harvesting, he have some overharvesting cases here and on other platforms.

Yes as I was there just 2 months ago, the reviews on Google is for the hospital itself. The hospital does everything in plastic surgery, its a big hospital, Dr Yaman is on the 3rd floor. The other floors are other Drs doing all kinds of stuff like rhinoplasty etc.

They also act as a normal hospital I think, some of the reviews is of girls giving birth in there.

Damn ai had no idea it was a hospital. Then again that's another reason not to trust Google reviews.

Don't stare too much, if it could wait for years, it can wait few days-weeks more or months, to find a suitable clinic.

I'm telling you from personal experience, 4 years ago I planned HT, but for personal reasons I couldn't organize myself about time. Now that I have decided that I can organize myself about time, I almost made 2 cardinal mistakes, and chose hairmill clinics, luckily I came across HRN 2 months ago, and here I managed to explore this topic a little better, and how to distinguish good from bad clinic, fraudsters from ok doctors, etc. etc.

It's just that sometimes it's not enough to just wait for answers on the forum, but a little self-initiative, to research "Googling" by ourselves, browse other forums, this forum, compare what is said about some doctor on this forum and others, talk to more experienced members here and we ask them for their opinion, and in that way we at least minimize the possibility of a bad choice, but do not rush things too much, because everything should go its course and due to some hurry 15-30 days or 2-3 months, we can make big mistakes.

Yup research is very important especially when it's something life changing that will stay with you forever.

Couldn't agree more about the self initiative part as well. After all you're the one who has to make the decision to go through with it after doing research

In the end I also think luck plays a part in the whole procedure. There are so many things that can go wrong but it's up to you to judge if it's worth it or not.

Yes, it's very important thing in our lives, if we already decided do it, as there is no undo at this area, and when choice wrong, and things like overharversting donor area, or bad done HT at recipient area, consequences are big, and sometimes is difficult fix it, if at all possible fix, if bad ht destoryed donor's area...

And yes, at the end we can listen different opinions, read, follow, etc. , but only based on all our research including those wrote previously, and listening some our "6th" sense, we'll decide who to choose...

This is aesthetic surgery, not essential, like cardio-surgery, neuro-surgery, etc. , this we do not cause have to do, but cause we want , to feel better, cause of our self-confidence, etc. , and then no one will gurantee anything at this type surgery,  every clinic's agreement you need sign before surgery, will tell you this i wrote :) ,  and even at cardio-hirurgy, neuro, transplantation kidneys, happens fail in surgery, here too, as not all depend by doctor only, but us too, our blood type, quality of grafts, skin type, our metabolism, and x other factors, more factors = more options, for doctors after fail say , it's up to this or that :) ... But anyway it's just decide, do it, and pray God to be all ok :) ... Sure always better choose reliable doctor  as at least will minimize chances of damage donor area ;) .
