  1. Yeah I'm letting it grow right now. Will send new pics next week if my hair is long enough. Maybe you should do the same and see if the answer changes.
  2. Yup research is very important especially when it's something life changing that will stay with you forever. Couldn't agree more about the self initiative part as well. After all you're the one who has to make the decision to go through with it after doing research In the end I also think luck plays a part in the whole procedure. There are so many things that can go wrong but it's up to you to judge if it's worth it or not.
  3. Yup she told me the same thing. The thing was that I have been on fin and had to stop. Also she couldn't see my donor from the pics because my hair was buzzed but I'm waiting for it to grow so I can send some updated pics to see what she says.
  4. I'm letting my hair grow and will send pics of my donor to see what doctors say.
  5. Damn ai had no idea it was a hospital. Then again that's another reason not to trust Google reviews.
  6. That's a good way to sort of hide the donor area being thin. Nowadays it's normal for your hair to be nearly-shaved on the back and have a skin fade on the sides no one would even notice. As for Bicer, you're lucky. Her assistant told me they can't perform a ht on me as my donor area is not good enough and my hair is thinning so just told me to get on fin/min, which I did but stopped as I mentioned in my first post. When it comes to making a decisions, I think choosing a ht clinic will always be difficult. You'll always wonder if you picked the best for you, if something could go wrong. I guess we just have to go with our gut and hope it turns out for the best. It's not the end of the world.
  7. Yeah there's usually off about them. Either the situation that is too good to be true, the lack of info regarding the procedure and how it went or refusing to answer questions. You can spot them easily, which is good ahaha
  8. Damn that's the exact same message he sent me, the only difference being the amount of grafts. Guess the messages are pre recorded and only change a few aspects based on the patients' needs.
  9. Ahahaha if the person is lying or trying to fake a review or experience they deserve to get called out. That's how the forum stays impartial and trusted.
  10. I wouldn't put it better myself as @gottobestrongsaid. Competition can just easily create a Google account and give negative reviews. Forum's preferably with related experiences are the way to go.
  11. Exactly. Completely agree with you. Mr. Fikret said the exact same thing about keeping a conservative hairline by having 2000 grafts for the hairline which will be the main focus, and then 1000 for the midscalp and then 500 for the crown to help give a better look. After a couple years and depending on how the transplant goes, I will go for a density ht if my donor allows it. If not, I'll go for SMP to give the aspect of full density.
  12. Yeah I've been told that. When I will lose it I don't know. But it has stabilized in the past year. If in the future I need another transplant I'll go through with it. One thing at a time: first fix my frontal hairline and get some density then later down the road another transplant just for density if my donor allows it.
  13. Looks like his price hasn't been a sudden change and has been like this for a while which reassures me a but more. If the only reason they have these prices is due to the pandemic to try and get more patients and Dr. Yaman is still as involved, I don't see why people wouldn't go with him, especially when so many clinics are booked until mid 2022 already.
  14. Yeah me too. Hopefully Dr. Yaman or his assistant will clarify as to why that change in price happened.
