  1. Yeah I'm letting it grow right now. Will send new pics next week if my hair is long enough. Maybe you should do the same and see if the answer changes.
  2. Yup research is very important especially when it's something life changing that will stay with you forever. Couldn't agree more about the self initiative part as well. After all you're the one who has to make the decision to go through with it after doing research In the end I also think luck plays a part in the whole procedure. There are so many things that can go wrong but it's up to you to judge if it's worth it or not.
  3. Yup she told me the same thing. The thing was that I have been on fin and had to stop. Also she couldn't see my donor from the pics because my hair was buzzed but I'm waiting for it to grow so I can send some updated pics to see what she says.
  4. I'm letting my hair grow and will send pics of my donor to see what doctors say.
  5. Damn ai had no idea it was a hospital. Then again that's another reason not to trust Google reviews.
  6. That's a good way to sort of hide the donor area being thin. Nowadays it's normal for your hair to be nearly-shaved on the back and have a skin fade on the sides no one would even notice. As for Bicer, you're lucky. Her assistant told me they can't perform a ht on me as my donor area is not good enough and my hair is thinning so just told me to get on fin/min, which I did but stopped as I mentioned in my first post. When it comes to making a decisions, I think choosing a ht clinic will always be difficult. You'll always wonder if you picked the best for you, if something could go wrong. I guess we just have to go with our gut and hope it turns out for the best. It's not the end of the world.
  7. Yeah there's usually off about them. Either the situation that is too good to be true, the lack of info regarding the procedure and how it went or refusing to answer questions. You can spot them easily, which is good ahaha
  8. Damn that's the exact same message he sent me, the only difference being the amount of grafts. Guess the messages are pre recorded and only change a few aspects based on the patients' needs.
  9. Ahahaha if the person is lying or trying to fake a review or experience they deserve to get called out. That's how the forum stays impartial and trusted.
  10. I wouldn't put it better myself as @gottobestrongsaid. Competition can just easily create a Google account and give negative reviews. Forum's preferably with related experiences are the way to go.
  11. Exactly. Completely agree with you. Mr. Fikret said the exact same thing about keeping a conservative hairline by having 2000 grafts for the hairline which will be the main focus, and then 1000 for the midscalp and then 500 for the crown to help give a better look. After a couple years and depending on how the transplant goes, I will go for a density ht if my donor allows it. If not, I'll go for SMP to give the aspect of full density.
  12. Yeah I've been told that. When I will lose it I don't know. But it has stabilized in the past year. If in the future I need another transplant I'll go through with it. One thing at a time: first fix my frontal hairline and get some density then later down the road another transplant just for density if my donor allows it.
  13. Looks like his price hasn't been a sudden change and has been like this for a while which reassures me a but more. If the only reason they have these prices is due to the pandemic to try and get more patients and Dr. Yaman is still as involved, I don't see why people wouldn't go with him, especially when so many clinics are booked until mid 2022 already.
  14. Yeah me too. Hopefully Dr. Yaman or his assistant will clarify as to why that change in price happened.
  15. Yup that's my take on it too. He's too far from a hair mill. Just decided to post the screenshots as people requested so I can back up what I said. Anyway, apparently people's only concern seems to be why the sudden price drop so I guess they would like to know. I'm also interested as well not gonna lie.
  16. Hey y'all. Looks like the thread got quite some traction while I was gone. Regarding what I said regarding the price and number of transplants per day, I will post my messages with Mr. Fikret as requested. Regarding my opinion about the doctor, I'm still, as I said before, leaning towards him. His work seems solid, he's involved in the procedure and his price is more accessible when compared to other clinics. Regarding the conversation with Dr. Yaman, could you post something when you have an answer @Melvin- Moderator? We'd appreciate it. Anyway, here are the screenshots.
  17. Thanks for the info Digi. Yeah it seems like if that is the case, it really is a really good deal. I'm thinking about asking me. Fikret about why the price has decreased so much. At the same time, after the info going around that he didn't use loops, he seems to be using them which is good news. The scissors on the other hand are new to me. No idea why he's using them. Maybe it had to do with something that could only be done with them, I honestly have no idea. Hopefully someone in the forum will know.
  18. Thank you for that. I contacted HDC and will post their answer as soon as I get it.
  19. Yeah Im thankful for your input man. I decided to contact HDC to see what they say to see if they have the same answer as Dr. Bicer's assistant regarding my donor area. Will post the response as soon as I get it.
  20. Yes 100% this. I'm very glad you guys and this forum exist. In the beginning of my search I saw hairmills that were focused on advertising price instead of results, results which were extremely bad. Glad I took time to search. But it's still not over yet in a way ahaha
  21. Yeah I agree. I'm also very interested in FueCapilar but one thing that made me kinda cynical was that they asked for a 500€ deposit to book the transplant for May 2022. Sure, it has to be that way to be able to book it but I've had bad experiences in the past with paying beforehand and went through a lot of trouble to get it back. In this case it's a clinic in a different country. Who guarantees that I'll get the money back if they refuse it or go thr hairmill way? Again, I fully understand why it's necessary and I would do the same, but trust works both ways in a way.
  22. Yeah thought that as well. His answer seemed rather rude as well (might be just me) but it looks like Dr. Bicer is currently choosing some of the best patients and refuses some cases which might be more difficult to fix. Could be wrong though.
  23. @digi23@gottobestrongo Contacted Mr. Fikret yesterday and just received an answer both regarding how Dr. Yaman is involved and how many patients he does per day. I'll post it below Hello sir There are 3 major steps of the surgery which are incisions (channels)step, extraction step and implantation step. Incision step is the first step of the operation and it's performed by Dr.Resul Yaman. Extraction is performed by our extraction experts Ali Yaman or Ufuk Yaman(one of his brothers, have 6 years experience and trained by Dr.Yaman personally) then implantation is performed by our team supervised by Dr.Resul Yaman. Everyone is specialised with one step of operation. Dr.Yaman operates max 2-3 patients per day. Honestly still leaning towards Dr. Yaman but just contacted HDzc just in case and they're currently evaluation my case. Waiting for an answer.
  24. Damn dude first of all thanks for sharing your experience. It was the exact same thing with me regarding Dr. Bicer. Said I had extreme hair loss and my donor area was not good which I thought was weird since all others I contacted said the opposite. 2 or 3 sentences saying Dr. Bicer recommended I contact a dermatologist and I thanked him. I see we are on the same situation. I am also leaning towards Dr. Yaman. Again, not because he is cheap but because he is available, participated in the forum quite regularly and has consistent results
