As promised here are some new pictures. Pls, give me some honest comments. I would say that hair started to grow after i entered my 3 month. Something probably grew in month 2 but it wasnt really something to talk about. So, when 3 month passed and I entered my month number 4, things started to kick off. So I would say that the biggest change started to happen between 90th and 120th day. Fifth month is just a nice bonus. Im really looking forward for the next months, 6,7 and 8. I finnaly droped my hairpiece and went in public some 3 weeks ago. The feeling is priceless. I waited out so long, but in the end, all the patience was worth. Nobody knows that I transitioned from a hair piece guy to a normal hairstyle which I find one of my greatest achievements of my life. I wont be dweling too deep into my emotional state and feelings in last 5 months. But for me, it wasnt that hard at all, I dunno why. I went to a whole another town after my HT and started to work for a call center (lousy payment and shitty job but whatever) and pushed throught all this mess. I wouldnt recommend this to anybody though, haha. I can also say that the last time i felt something in my fut scar line was aprox some 3 months ago or even more. There is still some redness on the edges. I was pretty lucky with pimples on the way. I only had 2. One went away while washing my scalp and I poped the second one. It was huge and loking really nasty, but it was poped in a sec without any problems. Im doing very fine. When I go outside now I just sprinkle bit fibers in the front and midscalp and maybe a bit more in the crown area. As shown on the pictures, crown and parts of midscalp are maybe still not that full but I think its pretty okay. With every passing week there is certain improvement. Im still ofc in touch with team Hattingen. Dr Sever checked everything last time, said that the process is good. We will probably chat more in the future and he said that clinic will back me up if needed again. So, pls do some comments here. Be objective. Hmm, great question. Pls dont get me wrong, but I lost the correct data about this😁 But I did measure it in my home a few weeks ago. Its not correct in a single mm, but its 33 cm long. The number is more or less the same as far as I can remember when Laura was telling me about sizes. Well, thats pretty big. If you segment it in three parts, every strip is at least 10 or 10cm+ long. As for the strip in the back it was 2.5 cm thick, what is considered to be also pretty big. As far as the side strip lines go, Im not really sure and I dont want to guess. Maybe I can ask the doctor again next time. Also my operation was considered to be a "max strip process" since that was my wish. First impression via skype was 5000 fut grafts, after my live consult Sever told it would probably be 5500+. In the end was 6000+. Ofc scalp tension played a role in this. I did those exercises some 2 months prior to operation. I would reccomend anybody just to type this in Yt and one can see a guy called Doug that explains everything. He is probably still an employee of H&W. Thanks for the nice comments. I would agree that if i dont improve a lot from this, I would still be satisfied. No more hair piece!!!! Well, my hair density all in all was regarded as average. Not really sure in the terms of FU per square cm density... I was discussing a bit about further steps if those happen in future. If I go with second FUT they could probably harvest between 2000 and 2500 FU and afterwards if desired, 3000+ FUE units more. Dont really now what could be max number of FU via FUE if that was the second step, but skilled team could harvest around 4000 FUE or so. After three years since my first one (I was the first to post on this forum I think), I am going back for my second pass at some time this year for the crown and to thicken the hairline. You will surely notice that the crown area is lagging. Not really sure what to expect over there, but Ill give it 4 more months at least to give it a proper asessment. I think that everything else looks really nice, not maybe 5 full stars🙃 but I still have some progress to do. I think I also need a slight haircut. This is all coming from a person that was wearing a hairpiece. I can honestly say that Im not thinking too much about the hair in the last couple of months. Im really liking my new appereance. Ht was a gamechanging move, just to be very very very very brief Will post some new pics in a month or two. P. S. Im on topical dutasteride, but not everyday. I also started oral minoxidile some 2 months ago and maybe will write more about that stuff if everyrhing goes well.
