Max374
Hi everyone, I had a hair transplant 1 month ago and I’ve been experiencing a bumpy texture on my head, only seen in certain lights just a bit worried. I knows it’s early but figured someone could shed some light in it

Administrators Melvin- Admin Posted January 3, 2021 Administrators Share Posted January 3, 2021 I wouldn’t say it’s cobblestoning just yet. It looks like it may be minor pitting, but again at 1 month you’re still healing. I wouldn’t be overly concerned at this point. Beat to wait a few months and re-asses the situation. 1 I’m a paid admin for Hair Transplant Network. I do not receive any compensation from any clinic. My comments are not medical advice. Senior Member Britanium Posted January 3, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted January 3, 2021 It’s too early to say if it’s pitting or cobblestoning yet. Now your aware it could potentially be either then see how it develops. And keep the clinic informed. We all heal differently. 1

Senior Member MachoVato Posted January 4, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted January 4, 2021 I'd ask the doctor for a steroid prescription, to reduce swelling. At least try some good anti-inflammatory or cortisone cream. Senior Member deitel130 Posted January 4, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted January 4, 2021 A lot of healing is still happening the first few months but it's never a bad idea to check with the clinic/surgeon.
Senior Member Doron Harati Posted January 4, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted January 4, 2021 It's too early to determine, most of the pitting and cobblestoning I saw were all over the scalp, wait a little longer, I think it will get better. I just posted this: Doron Harati - Patient coordinator for HDC Hair Clinic, HT procedures are done by MD Doctors with Microscope FUE. Senior Member aaron1234 Posted January 5, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted January 5, 2021 FWIW, I had some pitting from my first procedure but the skin eventually settled down, or at least was hidden by subsequent procedures. Senior Member gillenator Posted January 8, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted January 8, 2021 Try applying an enriched aloe vera cream to the area at least twice daily...that can potentially really help as well. 1 Gillenator Independent Patient Advocate I am not a physician and not employed by any doctor/clinic.
