This patient came to Dr. Arocha after having a procedure with another hair transplant doctor here in Houston, Texas. The before images depict his growth after his first procedure with this other doctor. The patient underwent a repair FUT hair transplant with Dr. Arocha, which consisted of 1500 grafts. The after results were taken 10 months after his repair with Dr. Arocha.

With this result you'd never know this was a repair. Any idea how many grafts were burned in his failed procedure?

Huge improvement. For 1,500 grafts the appearance of density in the hairline is fantastic!

Thank you, ADuckwithNoHair,

Great username. Dr. Arocha does always try to make sure to maximize results without depleting donor in all of his patients.

Mycroft -

Great question! I don't know how many grafts were used in the first procedure, but what I do know is that he went to a doctor who markets himself as the leading neograft surgeon in Texas. The transplant showed poor angle and direction and pitting, as well as poor growth. Additionally, there were visible FUE donor scars. That's why educating yourself as a consumer is so important. We always tell our patients they need to make sure that the surgeon can provide a gallery of photos consisting of multiple views of the before/after results and has a variety of patient photos for you to look at.

Wow what a excellent improvement for a moderate amount of grafts. Shows what can be done in skilled hands.

He just wrote us a Google review. Here is what he had to say:

One of the most qualified surgeons in the entire industry. In addition to having performed thousands of surgeries, Dr. Arocha teaches and is continuing to hone his craft. I had a hair transplant prior to going to him and it was awful. He repaired it and its something I'm proud of now.

If only he came to you in the first place. I’m seeing so many repair cases happening recently.

That's why we always encourage our patients to do their research. You need to make sure that the doctor has multiple patient photos he can show, and that he/she can provide multiple views of each patient at different stages of the patient's journey!

Unfortunately not all Clinics are the same though. We spend so much time on this forum trying to help and educate people. Sometimes it’s too late and they already have had poor work done.
