I think you are on pace for a very good result I will update mine in the next few days. Mine is not nearly as good as yours yet but it’s gotten MUCh better the last couple weeks so I’m excited. Regular Member TempleRunner Posted July 13, 2019 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 13, 2019 Thanks guys, I'm a comb back kinda guy, so I'm waiting for more density, but, now that the ugly duckling phase is over the wait is not that hard like the past few months. By the way, I got back to work at the beginning of the month and I got compliments from everyone! they say it looks much better than before (I had a hair piece in the front part only). it feels so good and liberating. One thing that worries me - In the day of the HT I had a big pimple in the recipient area. now the area the pimple was is not growing well/at all, I'm afraid the hair transplanted there got infected from the pimple and died out, I hope I'm wrong and they just need more time to pop up because of the "rough terrain" the had. anyways it is small, so it's not that severe. xadiohead - I'm sure you will get a good result as well, you have fair hair, thin hair, and light skin, so the growth is less visible. but I'm sure you'll end up with a good result. I have thick black hair on a fair skin so every hair has presence 4329 grafts - ASMED - Dr. Koray - 12-13.3.19HT thread:

Regular Member TempleRunner Posted July 15, 2019 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 15, 2019 I just saw, it is exactly the same good luck! I think that from my 4 months pics you guys got the wrong impression. when the hair is down it's looks pretty good butwhen it is combed up it looks sick & very low density. here is a pic with a fluorescent light and a flash so you can see clearly the low density: 2 4329 grafts - ASMED - Dr. Koray - 12-13.3.19HT thread:

Regular Member xadiohead Posted July 16, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted July 16, 2019 Not to derail your thread but i am curious what type of work do you do that allows a 4 month vacation? Here in the US unless you are a school teacher, taking anything beyond two weeks is pretty unheard of. I've been out of college for 10 years and the longest vacation I have ever taken is 5 work days. I only took four days when I went to Instanbul for hair transplant (though i can work from home which helps).
Regular Member TempleRunner Posted July 16, 2019 Author Regular Member Share Posted July 16, 2019 (edited) I'm a lawyer. I work in a law office. I'm pretty invaluable here, so I didn't ask for 4 months leave, I just told my boss I take it as fact and done deal. even though I knew he wouldn't take it easy, I knew he had no choice. I did work from home some of the time (week in a month). and used the time to travel the world (australia, thailand, japan, china). I was honest, I told him that i'm gonna do HT, and I'm way too sensitive to get back before the hair grew back (I was wearing a hair piece - no one at work knew - so it was harder for me). he gave me a few examples of ppl who did a HT that got back after 2 weeks. but i kept saying everyone is different and I have my own mental scars In israel long vacations are more acceptable i guess. And i was thinking about it for so long, that I was ready to quit my job if needed for those 4-5 months leave. I knew i wasn't able to see pepole like this. All my friends say i'm exaggerating, but that's who I am - hair is a very big deal for me. Everything worked out for the best - I got my 4 months leave, traveled the world, got around 60% sallery during the vacation - I couldn't ask for more Edited July 16, 2019 by TempleRunner 2 4329 grafts - ASMED - Dr. Koray - 12-13.3.19HT thread:
Regular Member TempleRunner Posted August 13, 2019 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 13, 2019 5 months update:I will post a comb up pics from now on because you can see the density better that way. comb down looks great, that's how I go out every day.Density is not good generally, and I still can't style my hair in a comb up, it looks bad. especially when my native hair is dense so I can compare the native hair vs the transplanted hair.In the middle of the hairline, the density is lower in comparison to sides of the hairline.I really hope things will improve greatly because I am not happy with the result so far (I know I have 5 more months of growth but still, I'm a bit worried, since there was not a big difference from month 4 to 5) 4329 grafts - ASMED - Dr. Koray - 12-13.3.19HT thread:

Hopefully not the case but it seems to have the signs of the new "signature" look that most recent ASMED hairlines have where it is patchy in at least one of the areas behind the new hairline. Mine appears to be the same (Templerunner and I had the surgery on the same day). Hopefully it's just a 5 month thing for us.
Senior Member Kraistoff Posted August 13, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted August 13, 2019 Hello mate I was worried at 5 months but I knew that I was stupid to be worried that soon on. you can see (from my immediate post op photos) density was less behind the hairline. I though that this was because the used multi grafts there and the density would balance out once the 3s and 4s grew in. I thought the would take longer to grow . Photos of 5 months below. My colleagues in work called me “scrotum head” which I thought was hilarious even being on the receiving end of it. Usually it is me who insults people for a laugh. Regular Member TempleRunner Posted August 13, 2019 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 13, 2019 I hope you are right. I have to say that i choose the "worst" pics with harsh lighting. obviusely, the hairline got much more grafts then then the rest. kristoff, I saw you were content with the hairline but not with the density in the mid sculp. I have full hair in the middle so i hope i wont have that problem. all i have left is to sit and wait. 4329 grafts - ASMED - Dr. Koray - 12-13.3.19HT thread:
Regular Member xadiohead Posted August 13, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted August 13, 2019 I didn't mean to sound too negative in my post, we are both still far too early to know our results. I am mostly happy with mine at the five month mark, but still need LOTS of improvement the next five to seven months for it to be a success. I think yours will be a success. As we know, hair transplant pictures can be very deceiving based on lighting, angles, hair style, etc. Putting the pictures in harsh conditions is the best to not camouflage the results like some do. Regular Member TempleRunner Posted August 14, 2019 Author Regular Member Share Posted August 14, 2019 It's cool. if this was a 10 month uptade, It was a bad result. Regular Member TempleRunner Posted October 15, 2019 Author Regular Member Share Posted October 15, 2019 hello, 7 months update Sorry for not posting at 6 months, I have been busy... Anyway, I'm not happy with the result. the density is poor. especially in the middle of the hairline. when I comb my hair up the hair is a total see-through. I have done 4.3K grafts in a relatively small area, so I would expect a better result. at 7 months I should see at least 80% growth. if this is 80% - I'm not happy. now for the pics, I tried to take different pics in different lighting (warm light, daylight, florecent, direct harsh light etc...): 4329 grafts - ASMED - Dr. Koray - 12-13.3.19HT thread:
Senior Member hairlossPA Posted October 16, 2019 Senior Member Share Posted October 16, 2019 (edited) it looks good/great in some pics and decent/ehhh in the others. still some time for things to happen. give it a few more months also. you got a considerable amount of grafts put into the temples so remember 4.3k are not all in the hardline. you could easily have between 500-700 grafts in each temple. how did those turn out? can’t see in the pics Edited October 16, 2019 by hairlossPA
Regular Member TempleRunner Posted October 17, 2019 Author Regular Member Share Posted October 17, 2019 time will tell... some pics looks better other worst because I tried to take different pics from different angles and lighting - that's why they look different. If you have seen my previous updates I go regularly with the hair downwards, it looks great and full. but for assessment purposes and so you can see the hair transplant density - I comb it upwards (just for these pics) 4329 grafts - ASMED - Dr. Koray - 12-13.3.19HT thread:
Regular Member xadiohead Posted October 18, 2019 Regular Member Share Posted October 18, 2019 Thanks for updating. Yours looks great in some pics, iffy in others (lighting I’m sure is a big part of that as you mentioned). i think it looks much better than your before pics so it is definitely not going to be a failure, it just may not be as dense as you are hoping for. I’m pretty happy with mine SO FAR however I definitely have a density issue behind one side of my hairline. When I style it properly, I think it looks pretty good but if I don’t have it styled with hair spray it can look sparse in that area. I think we both need to hope for the best over the next few months. If mine gets 25 percent better then I think I would be very happy with the result. I’ll try to update my pics in the next week. Regular Member TempleRunner Posted October 18, 2019 Author Regular Member Share Posted October 18, 2019 Let's hope it will improve. I guess that because my native hair is dense, the HT looks more sparse relativly. 4329 grafts - ASMED - Dr. Koray - 12-13.3.19HT thread:
