Senior Member shookwon33 Posted October 21, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted October 21, 2018 @fatbastard12345 Looking very good wow. I am guessing you decided just to fill in the recession corners? Did you lower the nature peak of the hairline at all? Also did you opt to get the a-cell injection? I believe it's 500$ extra

Just the corners. I did not lower the widow's peak. I told Dr. Diep I wanted a hairline more proportional to my face and he actually drew me a hairline above my widow's peak. I did get the A-Cell injection, and yeah - it's $500 bucks.

Senior Member Legend007 Posted October 22, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted October 22, 2018 I paid for the $500 acell.. I’m already spending thousands .. might as well pay a little more if it helps with the healing .. I got $150 discount for it though , so. Only $350 for me .. the office manger gave me a discount on it when they didn’t want to give me a discount on travelers discount.. since I am in state .. told them I just wanted to save some money so I can spend it on the Acell ..
Regular Member Friedman Posted October 23, 2018 Regular Member Share Posted October 23, 2018 (edited) Are there any randomized controlled trials (RCTs) showing a positive impact of ACell on hair growth? I'm already doing PRP, so I'd like to add ACell, but only if there is supportive RCT evidence... Edited October 23, 2018 by Friedman typo

Regular Member fatbastard12345 Posted December 3, 2018 Author Regular Member Share Posted December 3, 2018 I have been trimming the transplanted hairs because they are very thin and get all crumpled when my baseball cap presses on them all day, so I prefer to keep them short. This is considered early? Hell yeah! Would you say this is more or less how your hair looked at 3 months post-op? Or was it too long ago to remember? Are you satisfied with the density of your transplant? From the Dr. Diep videos I've seen, even the guys with seemingly perfectly results wish they had more grafts. Regular Member fatbastard12345 Posted December 4, 2018 Author Regular Member Share Posted December 4, 2018 The donor is healed. The area started feeling normal again at about 2 months. I just worry that sometimes people end up with like a moth eaten appearance for the first couple months in the donor area but it doesnt seem like thats the case for you then.
