  1. You don't need original density for your hair to look fine under bright lights. The other side of my transplant looks just fine despite not being of original density.
  2. But I'm not aiming for original density. The opposite side of my head which doesn't appear to be thinning looks just fine under bright lights despite not being of original density.
  3. This procedure involved filling in both corners of a Norwood 3. There were more hairs transplanted on one side than the other. The side with more transplanted hairs looks just fine under bright lights. Your answer seems to assume there's nothing transplants can do solve this issue.
  4. This is 7 months of progress. You can see my scalp under bright lights. This also makes me reluctant to take selfies under the sun. Will this improve or will I need a second procedure for further density?
  5. Thanks for the tip. Diep's wait times are so long I'll know conclusively whether or not I want a second procedure by then
  6. I already plan on getting a second procedure to increase density. It may not be noticeable on camera but the right side of my hair is quite thin. Underneath sunlight, it looks like I'm going bald in the area. Not a perfect procedure but with only 1776 grafts, Diep did an amazing job and I can only ask for so much.
  7. 6 Month Mark 🙌 I plan on growing my hair out. Donor hair was extracted from the back and sides of my head. My FUE scars are still visible. The areas from where the hairs were extracted are lighter. The transplanted hair doesn't look good when viewed from a below angle but it looks all right from the front. Also, I can't take selfies outside in the sun because the transplanted hairs come out looking too thin.
  8. About 5 months and 2 weeks. I really hope this thickens. I'm slightly worried.
  9. i live by myself so it's hard to take a picture of the back of my head, but since i got FUE - no scarring in the donor area can be seen.
  10. cool. when did you schedule? i'm curious as to how long the wait time is these days.
  11. No. I don't think I'm early. I think I'm growing at at a regular pace, but I may be wrong. Hehe. If I reach 100% density in a year, I think I'm currently at about 14%
  12. The donor is healed. The area started feeling normal again at about 2 months. I don't know if the scar is still visible because my hair is too long to see it.
  13. Haha. I had no idea how much you guys appreciated these updates, so now I'll definitely make a point to keep you guys updated. Are you satisfied with the density of your transplant? From the Dr. Diep videos I've seen, even the guys with seemingly perfectly results wish they had more grafts.
  14. This is considered early? Hell yeah! Would you say this is more or less how your hair looked at 3 months post-op? Or was it too long ago to remember?
  15. I have been trimming the transplanted hairs because they are very thin and get all crumpled when my baseball cap presses on them all day, so I prefer to keep them short.
  16. Lol. My age is in the title, dude. I'm 25. I'm not on any medication for hair. Although, I did get an a-cell injection on the day of the procedure.
  17. Yep. Just the corners. I did not lower the widow's peak. I told Dr. Diep I wanted a hairline more proportional to my face and he actually drew me a hairline above my widow's peak. I did get the A-Cell injection, and yeah - it's $500 bucks.
  18. Great. Just patiently waiting for my results. Check my profile. I just uploaded an 8 week post-op, front and back.
