Its funny I thought it was lookong good about 2 months ago now with each week I compare I realize it wasn't and now it looks 100% better but with a lot more room to grow and fill in. Looking forward to the next few months send some pics of your progress, or at least document for your benefit Thanks Johnny! Senior Member SWdan Posted April 10, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted April 10, 2018 Looks great, looking forward for your next update. i begun taking biotin 5000 mcg and MSM 1000 mg, hope there won't be an outbreak or something. I was taking biotin 5000 mcg and it was horrible for my skin. I went to every other day, and still had problems. I quit after about three weeks. Senior Member wheretogo Posted April 10, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted April 10, 2018 what kind of problems?, where?, how much time after taking the biotin it starts? until now i was taking 600 biotin each day.
Senior Member lukeyb1687 Posted April 10, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 10, 2018 I hope that the Biotin doesn't effect you. For me I had cystic acne across my chin and forehead. Was horrible! 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:
Senior Member SWdan Posted April 10, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted April 10, 2018 what kind of problems?, where?, how much time after taking the biotin it starts? until now i was taking 600 biotin each day. For me I had skin breakouts on my face starting after two days. After I quit things cleared up almost immediately. I've taken Geritol vitamins for years, and it has some Biotin. Never seemed to cause me any problems. YT has many examples of people having skin issues with the Biotin supplements.
Senior Member lukeyb1687 Posted April 10, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 10, 2018 (edited) Day 119 (just a day shy of 4 months) So I decided to buzz my head down to a #1 (cut the transplanted hairs with a scissor), but got photos before and after to compare. This will likely be my last time as the frontal 3rd seems to be getting thicker and thicker, so wanted to see what a final buzz would look like. The longer hair was on 4/9 and the shorter hair is 4/10. It's funny because now that I've buzzed it, I can clearly see more hairs than before, especially in the hairline! Looking forward to the next few weeks too! The donor area seems to have healed nicely, still a little pink in some areas but that may be due to a little extra sun exposure. Let me know what you think guys Edited April 11, 2018 by lukeyb1687 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:

Senior Member lukeyb1687 Posted April 11, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 11, 2018 Hi Johnp, Thanks! I'm happy so far and can't wait to see what happens over the next few weeks and how much thicker it will get. I haven't used it the last few days, but will probably start again on a stricter regime over the next few weeks. Same with the Saw Palmetto, I moved and couldn't find it for 2 weeks. But back on it now 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:
Senior Member wheretogo Posted April 11, 2018 Senior Member Share Posted April 11, 2018 looks awesome Luke. congrats on this and on the move:) you right, in short hair you can see more improvement of the hair. i'm on day 57 post op, haven't buzzed my donor area, kinda nervous to touch it. by the way, do you shampoo your scalp everyday?, have you returned to the gym already? Senior Member lukeyb1687 Posted April 11, 2018 Author Senior Member Share Posted April 11, 2018 Thanks Wheretogo, Yep shampoo everyday with an essential oil shampoo- Doterra and once a week with t-gel. I went back to the gym around the 45 day mark, and noticed the softness of the scalp/squishiness stopped pretty soon after. Why are you nervous to touch it? I had a few zits initially in the donor area but now they seem to have completely gone. Oh also I would say I am about 85-90% of feeling back in my recipient area and 100% in the donor area. That was a big concern of mine initially but glad it's resolving 12/2017 - 3500 Grafts- Dr. Emrah Cinik Follow my progress:
