Regular Member Bronte Posted January 9, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted January 9, 2016 I'm currently researching Fue doctors and I am seriously considering Dr Lorenzo..His results with fine hair are nothing short of remarkable.. He ticks all the boxes I'm looking for (except price)but he is probably the best in the world,so I don't mind paying a bit extra for quality work.. So here is my dilemma..I have had my mid scalp and crown replaced fue with another leading doctor I'm very happy with the results..I now need my temple points hairline and front third done looking at about 2500 grafts all up.. I want to go with Lorenzo but his hairlines are way to conservative and I can't find any patient that has had temple points done by him.. Does anyone know if Dr Lorenzo does temple points and hairlines that are more straight and not so the receding look hairline?..I'm trying to avoid the curved hairline look..Thanks
Senior Member Petchski Posted January 9, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted January 9, 2016 Yes he does, he has a massive amount of before and after s on https://vimeo.com/user23345553 He did temple point on me, but i'm only near 6 weeks post op, but if you keep looking through that link you will find examples in their, best thing to do is to contact the clinic with photos and you will get a response from Dr Lorenzo -------------------------------------- My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Feller Dr Feller Jan '09 2000 grafts Dr Lorenzo Dec '15 2222 grafts

Senior Member Mickey85 Posted January 10, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted January 10, 2016 Definitely contact the clinic. I'm sure that if your donor density is high enough and your hairloss is fairly stable, Lorenzo could accommodate for you. Alot of the conservative hairlines you see are on guys that had aggressive hairloss and had to be played safe. The only 2 threads you will ever need: Revamped Advantages/Disadvantages of FUE. Senior Member Stig Posted January 10, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted January 10, 2016 Agree on the Lorenzo hairlines being on the conservative side. Based on what you are looking to get done, have you considered Rahal or Feriduni? They both produce the best hairlines.
Regular Member Bronte Posted January 10, 2016 Author Regular Member Share Posted January 10, 2016 g'day stig,I like Rahal and Feriduni they are both outstanding doctors with excellent results.. I have pretty fine donor hair so I believe Lorenzo is the fine hair specialist. Some of the results I have seen from him with fine hair have been really good.. I will research both Rahal and Feriduni again as This wil probably be my final fue procedure I really want to do my homework and make the correct decision..Thanks again
Senior Member Aftermath Posted January 10, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted January 10, 2016 I've always been of the thought that Lorenzo is the best FUE doc in the world, and i still believe that, however I think a large part to that was the fact that he pretty much did everything, extraction and implanting. I'm hearing now though that he no longer extracts? can anyone confirm this? if this is the case I'm guessing this will have a negative impact on his results. I'll be keeping a close eye on his results over the next year or so. Also does anyone know, if he has stopped extracting whether this is something he's still prepared to do on request? and anyone know if he has stopped extracting, the reasonings behind this? is it just to do more surgeries in a day? Senior Member newbie33 Posted January 10, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted January 10, 2016 Lorenzo does temple points. You'll find them if you look at site site. And I'm not sure I'd say his hairlines are always conservative, but they do tend to swoop back in a similar pattern. I have him down on my very short list, but the hairline - which is something really important to me - is my main negative with him. Also, as others have pointed out, techs and other doctors there do extractions. I'm told he still does all the implanting, though. For what it's worth, I think Feriduni's hairlines are about the most natural out there. But he doesn't have as many examples of high graft counts in one HT as Lorenzo. And again, techs do all the extractions with him. Senior Member 1978matt Posted January 10, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted January 10, 2016 And there was a guy from California who I think had his done as part of a ~3000 graft procedure. I can remember his name but 'California lorenzo' search may find it. He definitely posted his results. 4,312 FUT grafts (7,676 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2013 1,145 FUE grafts (3,152 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - August 2018 763 FUE grafts (2,094 hairs) with Ray Konior, MD - January 2020 Proscar 1.25mg every 3rd day
Senior Member JohnCasper Posted January 11, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted January 11, 2016 Dr. Lorenzo does great work but you may have to wait to get a consult. He is very popular and hard to land a consultant unless your willing to wait.....I've heard. Good luck. Great doctor. Senior Member newbie33 Posted January 12, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted January 12, 2016 James, guessing you had your HT in Madrid, not Manchester? Who did the extractions? Regular Member jameslondon Posted January 12, 2016 Regular Member Share Posted January 12, 2016 i found this on the website just now, under fue technique. it sounds like they aren't technicians and are far more qualified than that. it's probably always worth asking directly to confirm "The extraction is carried out by our two surgeons, Dr. Lawrence and Dr.. Vila. Both have a specialist mining (TEF) to help them in this task."

Senior Member Petchski Posted January 13, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted January 13, 2016 I have heard this too so the results will be interesting to monitor. If you want to see Dr Lorenzo results with the extractions done by techs look at that link i posted on page 1. In Madrid, techs do the extractions and have for a long time, Dr Lorenzo did them in Manchester because he didn't have his team with him. This was a concern for me too, but this put my mind at rest. It is still too early to see my result, but his techs were very efficient, and by the end of 2222 grafts being extracted, i had zero transections. Dr Lorenzo did the first few extractions just to make sure there would not be any problems. -------------------------------------- My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Feller Dr Feller Jan '09 2000 grafts Dr Lorenzo Dec '15 2222 grafts

Senior Member wibbles180 Posted February 17, 2016 Senior Member Share Posted February 17, 2016 I think Lorenzo has seen his good friend Koray erdogan set up and followed suit , have you not considered dr erdogan ? He is much more agressive with hairlines ?
