Senior Member Raj Jayukdht Posted November 18, 2014 Author Senior Member Share Posted November 18, 2014 It is now been 1 month since I had my HT with Dr Bhatti in India The grafts have settled in well in their new homes now….lol. I guess I have been very protected since my HT, not scratching my recipient area for the first 3 weeks, washing my head very carefully and gently. I’ve started to shed most of my transplanted grafts now and my native hair/previous HT grafts have started to grow well. The donor area can get very itchy some days but it’s healing well day by day. I’m very impressed with my beard donor area, I can’t see any visible marks of extracted grafts, even my partner was surprised how well it looks after I month. I have attached some photos that were taken today after my shower, please note I did not bush or comb my hair before I took these photos. At the moment I’m only taking Rogaine foam and Biotin tablets. I’m still not sure if I want to take finasteride tablets. Thanks for reading and I’m happy to answer any questions. formerly know as Jayukdht http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/177363-hair-transplant-dr-bhatti-oct-14-part-2-procedure.html

Senior Member Loags79 Posted November 19, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted November 19, 2014 I see black pinholes where your grafts were placed. This means the hairs are just below the surface. Good signs for you. my HT thread: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/175267-dr-radha-fut-3261-grafts-photo-word-heavy.html

Sounds good. You may also want to consider adding Saw Palmetto standardised to 85-95% fatty acids.

Senior Member mikeey Posted December 20, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted December 20, 2014 nettle and emu oil is not supposed to be used so early on as the grafts are still in the healing phase , Coconut Oil is Ok , but u need extra virgin coconut Oil as all others have Mineral oil Mixed along with Paraffin .... BUT Pls do check with your Clinic , and do as they advice ..... I would vouch for Aloe Vera simple Safe and effective .. No chance of Imflammation or Graft Damage at the dermis , becos it has No Irritants !!! But as always check with the clinic first !
Senior Member Raj Jayukdht Posted December 20, 2014 Author Senior Member Share Posted December 20, 2014 I am using extra virgin coconut oil mikeey Also I just spoke to the person who recommended me emu oil and nettle and this is what he has to say: Nettle only prevents the loss of more hair falling out by inhibiting the the DHT which causes it to fall out, so I can't imagine it could have any negative connotations. The emu oil has only been shown to improve the effects of hair growth with no observed side effects at all and actually enhances the benefits of virgin coconut oil. formerly know as Jayukdht http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/177363-hair-transplant-dr-bhatti-oct-14-part-2-procedure.html
Senior Member mikeey Posted December 22, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted December 22, 2014 hey Jayukdht its very true that emu oil promotes hair growth , but buddy here we are talking of Graft survival , and in the initial stages why do u wanna risk the irritation from the Fatty acids present in the emu oil , as u know its a Bird Oil taken from the wings of the EMU , I suggest that u just stick to Coconut Oil or some other Milder Oil like Baby Oil , Emu oil shud be used after the growth Matures , ofcourse please discuss the same with your doctor . as far as Nettles .... they do not do anything for Donor replaced hair ... becos it is anti DHT , so u r pretty much wasting Money with that ! Rest its your choice I can only suggest you my opinion !! Happy Holidays

Senior Member mikeey Posted December 29, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted December 29, 2014 I think you have to be careful of the zinc and copper ratios , I see you are going the Natural route which is very Incredible , even I stay away from Propecia and Minox , Minox becos it ages you faster with all the alcohol in it and its a Life time commitment that I am never ready to take .... I need 2 be free , Rest all your medicines Look spot on ,... I would throw in a bit of Kelp if you so please as I think Iodine is as imp. for hair as the other vit/minerals ! I wud also reset the MSM and biotin ratios as too much MSM impedes the absorbtion of Biotin , But as always .... Speak to your clinic before doing anything ! Senior Member Raj Jayukdht Posted December 29, 2014 Author Senior Member Share Posted December 29, 2014 Thanks Mikeey The MSM and Zinc with Copper I got this from a health shop, the manager who sold me these meds, she very knowledgeable in this area and she did advise me about overloading copper is very bad. I only take a very small tea spoon of MSN. formerly know as Jayukdht http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/177363-hair-transplant-dr-bhatti-oct-14-part-2-procedure.html
Senior Member mikeey Posted December 29, 2014 Senior Member Share Posted December 29, 2014 Great , I was concerned as I remember I had taken supplemental copper and that made my zinc Low and My hair had thinned , its good to know u r already aware of this Fact , MSM incompare to Copper is quiet safe ... I just think if you add a bit of kelp you will be fine , and if you have some friends in the Local health shop ..... ask them for Kelp it will surely help you and also make you fitter it is know to ward off excessive Fat ! Happy Growing Bro

Senior Member Raj Jayukdht Posted January 17, 2015 Author Senior Member Share Posted January 17, 2015 Well I finally made my 3 months mark this week, nothing to report back as the grafts are still in Telogen phase, hopefully by the 4th month the growth will start. Some days my scalp gets very itchy and red, but little help from baby oil or coconut oil stops the itch. formerly know as Jayukdht http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/177363-hair-transplant-dr-bhatti-oct-14-part-2-procedure.html
Senior Member mikeey Posted January 17, 2015 Senior Member Share Posted January 17, 2015 hey Jayukdht , The itching is due to rogaine if you are using it . you are experiencing shock in the recipient area ? 3 Months is just the start , do not worry !
