Senior Member hairthere Posted May 17, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted May 17, 2012 (edited) Here's my 4 month update. Just went for my first hair cut and I'm trying a new style because the forelock hair is still growing back in and I need to do a bit of a combover. Growth in the temples and tps has definitely started and I've had more pimples this time than any other. In the pics I have a bit of styling paste. Also, the crown is pretty much fully grown in I think from the prior HT (it's been about 16 months). Overall I'm happy with it though I feel like it could use a bit more density in spots, but overall I'm very happy. Last picture shows where I was at 6 years ago.... Dr. Feller did an incredible job for me! Hope everyone has been well.... Senior Member bonkerstonker Posted May 18, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted May 18, 2012 Looks decent pal. Couple of questions though, are you saying your front forelock is thinner than before your latest ht due to shockloss? How many grafts have you had in your life as from what I can see in your signature you've not really had that many considering how many hts you've had and the amount of growth you've got in such a large very bald preop area. Bonkerstonker! http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1977 Update I'm now on 12200 Grafts, hair loss has been a thing of my past for years. Also I don't use minoxidil anymore I lost no hair coming off it. Reduced propecia to 1mg every other day. My surgeons were Dr Hasson x 4, Dr Wong x 2 Norton x1 I started losing my hair at 19 in 1999 I started using propecia and minoxidil in 2000 Had 7 hair transplants over 12200 grafts by way of strip but 700 were Fue From Norton in uk

Senior Member chrisdav Posted May 19, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted May 19, 2012 Hairthere, haven't seen you online for a while. Pictures look good and now at 4 months, it should start to take off. keep us posted. 2 poor unsatisfactory hair transplants performed in the UK. Based on vast research and meeting patients, I travelled to see Dr Feller in New York to get repaired.
Senior Member hairthere Posted May 19, 2012 Author Senior Member Share Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) @ everyone, thanks so much for the kind words. @bonker: the forelock was shaved so the hair is shorter there, hence the combover. I did not buzz down this HT. my signature is out of date. There should be another 2200 grafts from procedure 4 and then the roughly 1200 from this last procedure. I've had so many even I'm losing track now! Chrisdav, I haven't been on the forums so much as I've had a very tragic event in my life. I will continue to update on this HT but will likely not be participating so much on the forums. However, if anyone has any questions I will do my best to help and answer as promptly a possible. Hope everyone has been doing well and glad to see a bunch of you having good growth. I guess you're at about 8000 grafts it's hard to tell as you don't know your ht1 graft count but still your hair looks great considering your loss, the area to fill and you've done t points for only 8000 grafts you're doing great, do you think you'll have another op or is that not even a thought till this has grown? Senior Member HARIRI Posted May 27, 2012 Senior Member Share Posted May 27, 2012 Super restoration. Hairthere, you have a very beautiful hairline. Dr. Feller really brought life into you. Your before and after pics remind me so much of SPEX's. So you had 3200 grafts with Feller 2007 (Strip) and then 200 grafts into temple points with Feller too in 2010 (FUE), how about 2011 HT#4? How many grafts and which method? Senior Member hairthere Posted May 27, 2012 Author Senior Member Share Posted May 27, 2012 Spex, thanks bro! Hariri, after the temple point procedure I had 2100 grafts done to the entire head via strip. Then in February I had 1200 via strip to further beef up the temple points, lower the temples and hit the forelock. So I have had 5 procedures total although the first one does not count IMO. Thanks for the nice words.
