I am just looking for feedback on ALVI ARMANI's clinic. Anyone have any thoughts or feedback on some of their doctors and associates? Would greatly appreciate.

Once upon a time there was a very skilled strip surgeon who started showing examples of guys in their 20s with very little loss and extensive work done to their hairlines. Then that doctor switched to FUE only procedures. The graft counts were high and eventually so were the numbers of unhappy clients. There's a whole lot more to the story but I just realized I don't want to type a book on my iPhone! The moral: do your research and look into some other docs.

Thanks - i have read mixed reviews but heard that Dr. Baubac (who leads the Beverly Hills clinic is good)... still uncertain and will likely not go down the Alvi Armani path. How is Dr. Feller.. does he really charge 10 dollars/graft?

Forget about Armani. Put his name here & search for some of the feedback if you want. He's retired apparently anyway so he's just a brand name.

Hairthere is pretty much bang on. All though Armani is retired he is still a god on some forums and the less skillful surgeons who still work at Armani are praised in some places as well, that's why you get mixed reviews but anything Armani related is pretty much hated here by the users. The truth of the matter is he was very skillful but very gun happy lol.

 

You'll find as you move around forums there's huge supporters of certain surgeons and then you can go elsewhere and the same surgeons are hated i believe there's a lot of people just repeating what they see written as bible without properly looking at the evidence them self.

Dr. Rahal in Ottawa has been showing some very impressive fue results. If you're willing to travel there is Dr. Bisanga in Brussels who is my favorite.

I did quite a bit of research before making my decision to pursue FUE with SMG. I had approximately 15 different consultations with different clinics, including all the ones mentioned above. I had 1,501 FUE grafts from Dr. Ron Shapiro 22 days ago. I am extremely pleased with my procedure. Check out Shapiro Medical - they are awesome.

Wow, I did not know Armani retired. So he basically "Bosley-ified" himself. The epitome of greed in this industry.

Apparently he had a car accident and injured his back or something- if that's true, hope he recovers. From what we've heard from some of the victims over the years, there were a lot of upset people. How do you sleep at night knowing you've ruined someone.

Researching a surgeon is vital.

Yes something along them lines i heard but you never know. It's a real shame about him as he was a real talent with hairlines, i'd say the first person i ever saw do class hairlines week in week out and that was 8 or 9 years ago.

Has anyone actually had a procedure done by Armani's clinic on here? Just reading the mixed reviews and I hear many people who are not a fan of his work but where is the feedback coming from?

Hardly anyone has had a Ht with Armani on here. Like I say most people just repeat what others say as bible without truly researching them selves. It's human nature to accept the majorities general consensus but all that does is snowball effect it to make it even more one sided with the first people who started it. What you should do is find stuff out your self and harp about that as something you actually know abour your self. Rant over ha ha.

The three limitations of FUE are lower overall survival rate, fewer grafts available, and lack of consistency. We don't offer it because we cater to those that want the best result not the option to shave their heads if the procedure does not work out.

I had 2 FUE sessions with Armani 5 years ago. Poor yield and he jacked up the hairline even the second time when I told him I wanted more in the crown and mid area. He only made the holes for the grafts. The techs did the rest. They used a drill from Home Depot to yank out/extract the grafts.

Bloody hell that sounds like you had fun. Did you ask him why he decided to switch to fue? It did seem to be the switching to fue that sent his results downwards.

Probably the biggest mistake he ever made then was because he got greedy.
