  1. I get 90 five mg generic fin for $9 and use 5mg per day. Mine comes from expess scripts
  2. With the 10 rebate rogaine costs about the same as. Costco. I just paid 104 for 9 candor rogaine. Minus 10 makes it 9.40 per can shipped with tax
  3. Then don't use Propecia, problem solved All drugs have a long list of POSSIBLE side effects
  4. I started losing my hair in 1992. I was depressed years before PROPECIA was even available.
  5. Easy solution..............don't use fin I can say one thing , losing my hair at age 24 sure made me depressed. Regaining it through drugs and surgery cured that.
  6. They were coming out anyway. If simply shampooing your hair made it fall out you would lose all of you hair. Instead you are only losing the weak ones I don't know the exact number off the top of my head but think losing 100 hairs per days is normal I have seen hairs on my hand twice daily since 1994 when I use rogaine
  7. You would have lost the hair either way. The only difference is it's more obvious when you shampoo your hair
  8. I got Propecia shortly after it came out as I saw it on the news. The only people who could have been using Finasteride longer than me for hair loss are people who were cutting up Proscar pills or possibly using the full 5 mg Proscar pill which would have been pricey. The internet wasn't that big in 1997 so I doubt there were many hair loss forums to find info about using Proscar for hair loss.
  9. Longer mature hairs falling out can mean they are at the end of their life cycle, hopefully your thin hairs are shedding because of Propecia and will be replaced by new one which grow longer and thicker. Finasteride has worked for me for 17 years
  10. Nobody is going to be able to tell you how or even if the meds will work. How old are you ?
  11. I have more hair today than when I had my last HT done in 2006............2000 grafts total since 1999. I currently use Teva generic finasteride and also use Kirkland foam once a day and Rogaine Foam once a day. I have had growth hairline to crown so I use Foam over my entire head, 2 cans per month. I used real brand name Propecia for the first 5 years. Don't forget I have been using 5 mg/day for over 3 years..............still no sides Used Nizoral 2% for years and noticed no hair loss when I stopped
  12. I think Costco is about $9 bottle for foam................foam worked MUCH better for me
  13. If I thought it was better I would use 100% Rogaine, I have no idea but by the time I find out it may be to late so why risk it by going to 100% Kirkland. A head full of each per day seems to be holding things steady
  14. Foam worked much better than liquid for me and dries much faster
  15. 17 years on Fin, no sides 1 mg since 1998, 5mg/ day since 2011.
