Senior Member haircut Posted September 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 23, 2011 That is an amazing result. What makes it even stronger is that it is only one round of HT.
Senior Member Janna Posted September 23, 2011 Author Senior Member Share Posted September 23, 2011 Thanks haircut. He didn't have much time the other day for us to take videos of his result but we'll catch him in few more months when he has final result to take proper video. Here's a video format of his above result on youtube. Senior Member haircut Posted September 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 23, 2011 I also like Dr. Paul's new photo :-) As always, SMG does great work!!
Senior Member aaron1234 Posted September 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 23, 2011 Now this patient has one helluva frontal tuft! Certainly helps him out a bit. Still, he had quite a large area to cover and Dr. Paul did a great job with a relatively small number of grafts. The patients donor density doesn't hurt either! With all the talk of temple work lately I definitely could see this patient addressing those areas in the future. But again, simply fantastic results for one pass! P.S. It looks like he lost weight too. Bonus point for him! Senior Member haircut Posted September 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 23, 2011 aaron1234, The great thing about this first HT is that the temple corners were slightly addressed. That makes future work temple corner work less noticeable for this patient. Not a bad position to be in.
Senior Member aaron1234 Posted September 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 23, 2011 Haircut, You are correct. The corners look great! I'm referring more to the temple points and above. Senior Member haircut Posted September 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 23, 2011 aaron1234, I see your point. The good thing is that he has plenty of donor area left. He seems like an ideal patient.
Senior Member aaron1234 Posted September 23, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 23, 2011 aaron1234, I see your point. No pun intended, right? . Yeah, great donor density + SMG = good hair future for this guy. And the present state isn't half bad either... Regular Member gottitgood4me Posted September 24, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted September 24, 2011 I would like to especially thank you for the method used to post the photos and the way the photos were taken. I would like to see more doctors use this format as a way to display patient results. It is a clear, objective way to see the patients progress. The results for the number of grafts are excellent as well.
Senior Member Sean Posted September 24, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 24, 2011 Looks great, I really like the way you all break down these cases. Make it all nice and organized and it helps with any confusions later. You can see the start to the middle to the end. Nice work!
Senior Member orlhair1 Posted September 24, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 24, 2011 What a great result for a relatively small number of grafts compared to the area covered. Nice! Regular Member C Posted September 24, 2011 Regular Member Share Posted September 24, 2011 Excellent result! I like the fact that you kept a very natural looking hairline and filled in the thinning areas nicely but not overly done. Look forward toward seeing you next week! Senior Member Cant decide Posted September 26, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted September 26, 2011 Great result. I can safely say that Dr. Paul Shapiro has moved into my #2 spot on my favorite docs list. He is putting out some nice stuff lately. Conservative but not too conservative and takes a nice wholistic approach. Well done!!
