They charge $25 shipping too, but still only $73. Yes they do ship to the UK, ive used them about 8 times now. The $25 shipping charge is irelevant, they are charging $1.42 for a strip of 10. Thats $14.20 for 100 days worth. 37 X $1.42 = $52.54 + $25 = $77.24 for a years supply of Finasteride. I think you may have gotten some misleading advice at some point. You should take 1mg per day whether you buy the 1mg or the 5mg tablets. If you buy the 5mg tablets, you can cut them into 4 and take 1/4 per day (this works out at 5mg per 4 days). If you are worried about an extra 0.25mg per day, then skip 1 day in 5. The advantage of buying the 5mg tabs is purely financial since 10 tablets will last 40 days. I also buy 5mg tablets although I use proscar (it's more expensive than generics like fincar but much cheaper than 1mg propecia). This is probably where the 200 pounds per year came from that was mentioned earlier in the thread (30 proscar tabs are about 70 dollars). Its the enzyme that is responsible for converting Testosterone to DHT. We need some DHT, for many things in the body. Reducing it is fine, but I think the unlucky ones that are having a hard time with it have had it permanently deleted with the drug. I am looking forward to the results!! For those of you who don't know I came off of it because I thought I was having a Cystic acne breakout because of it/ However now that my face has healed and cleared up I am going to attempt it again, and hopefully won't have the breakout again! If you get off and on, your hormones will fluctuate. Get some benzoyl peroxide or w/e for the acne. Thanks I did get on Monodox and and a benzoyl peroixde cream and acid face mask from the dematologist and it certainly helped clear everything up. I have now been taking 1.25mg every other day and have not noticed an increase of breakouts. I've also started using the generic Minoxidil foam! Love it! Stick with this for one full year, then reevaluate your situation. Pics go a long way in really deciding whether the treatments are working. Take them in the same light with the same length hair and hair cut. Good luck!
