  1. In my two procedures I have noticed that by month 6 approx, all new hairs out out. After that they thicken and mature, which makes a HUGE difference to how it looks. I think everyone does grow differently, but if you havent seen much by month 9, its not going to be happening.
  2. Neat work, personal choice but I dont like the design of it. Adding that peak just makes the hairline look as if its on its way out. Very individual thing though, the design.
  3. 2nd scar looks equally as good although I have a bit of stretch right at the end of the right hand side, I think. It's nothing that you can see at all, just me being very picky.
  4. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/JayWalker/albums/3567 ^ Link to my album. I am at the 10 month mark now from my 2nd HT with Dr Dorin. Very pleased with how things are shaping up, calibre of new hairs is thickening up nicely and its added much needed density to my hairline. Photos taken in direct natural light. Possibly add a few refinements in the future with small FUE op, but im happy with how things have turned out with this second FUT procedure.
  5. Thats amazing! you have such good hair characteristics! mine is frustratingly fine!
  6. At 7 weeks I wouldnt be expecting any more or less. You really need to chill out and relax, its not called the ugly duckling phase for nothing!
  7. Thanks Scott, I am very happy yes. I have been following yours closely! your hair is looking great.
  8. Thanks David, not the best pictures though, but wanted direct light. Fair bit of maturing to go yet, but im very pleased with it. Scar is super neat as last time.
  9. Nizoral is absolutely evil stuff if used frequently, just causes massive shedding, no proof of local DHT blocking either. Old wives tale that stuff in my opinion!
  10. How time flies, just at the 7 month mark and very happy with things from my second procedure. I have still got alot of thin immature hairs that are still to gain calibre and I can feel a few new ones still coming through. Its really bolstered my existing hairline and has made a fantastic difference to my appearance. A few pictures to show my progress. Here is prior to any surgery back in 2011 And this is my current hairline.
  11. I cant see any use for Nizoral unless you have dandruff. I've never seen any research that backs up the claims that its a topical DHT blocker. All it did for me was make me shed hair!
  12. Any pictures of the donor area you could share, looks great work.
  13. You've come along way, thats going to be awesome in 6 months, more so than now!
  14. I honestly think you'll need way more than 2500 grafts to achieve your goals. I have used about 3200 for my temple recessions alone.
  15. I cant see anything wrong with that hair at all!
  16. Yeah, the journey is just starting. Zero shockloss this time round.
  17. Okay, so a quick update as anything before this time a bit pointless. I had my second procedure in Jan to give 1580 FUT to my temple areas to bolster the density from my first procedure. Im pretty much where I started before my second op, in that most of the native hair has now grown back or is getting there. I am seeing alot of new hairs coming through now, nice to know Im at the point where things start happening. My new scar is pretty much undetectable and Im hoping will end up as thin as my last one, very hard to say as its not developed into the white line that comes with time, but appears just as good this time. A few pictures to show you all where I am at. Happy growing people. Jay.
  18. Very hard to say without pics prior to op. What I will say is, as Im sure others will as well, 6.5 months is early days, just have to sit tight.
  19. Bad scars can come from either procedure, I personally dont suit or want a shaved head, so FUE was never really a consideration for me.
