  1. Pictures uploaded. Any guidance would be appreciated!
  2. I've just looked back at a previous photo which made me realise I needed to do something! I had forgotten how bad it had gotten! The first one was February 2015. The second one is from today which shows frontal third/half needing work! The one above is again from today, but with hair brushed forward ! Definitely a great advert for Finisteride! I'm 46 years of age now.
  3. I joined this site around 10 years ago where I gained some invaluable information. I've been out of the loop for the past 8 years I started on Finisteride 1mg 8 years ago. It regrew loads of hair at the crown and back and held what was left of the the front. I've noticed that my hairline is creeping further and further back now. If I've got this right, I'm probably IVA on the scale now. I'm now at the stage where I'm contemplating shaving it down, which I'm really not keen on, or getting a transplant. I've got a few questions: 1, I know everyone is different, but do you think it will keep on creep back, or should the Finisteride hold the back half and crown? 2, Could someone give me an estimate (again, I know everyone is different) of what it would cost to get the transplant. I'm UK based, and I'd prefer to have it done here if possible, but would consider a reputable clinic in Europe if it was worth the travel. 3, I think I'd prefer FUE over strip. Are there any other methods to consider? 4, Any do's and don'ts gratefully received Thanks all in advance 👍
  4. Thanks guys. I'm not going to rush into any rash decisions.
  5. I've been on Finisteride for 3 years. Hair loss has drastically reduced, and everything still works downstairs!! If any newbies have any questions regarding fin, don't hesitate to contact me. I started fin too late, so I need to plan getting the front third of my hair line filled in. What sort of price will I be looking at? I'd consider close to home, like Manchester, or even abroad for a reputable surgeon. Suggestions please people.

  7. So I've been on Propecia for just over 9 months. I wish I'd have started it years ago, as I appear to have had no sides, but as I waited too long, I've lost a lot of the front. So much so, that I'm going to have to probably get it shaved down this weekend :mad: My questions are, how long should I leave it before considering a hair transplant? 9 months in, am I likely to have stopped loosing hair?
  8. I should have started on propecia years ago but I didn't  I'm about to give it a good. It's a while since I've done any reading on it ...... Pro's and con's!?
  9. Superdrug do 6 months of generic I've just found out.
  10. Yeah kinda wish I'd started 3 years ago! Read too many stories on the net?!
  11. I've Been considering taking propecia on and off for ages!? Seriously thinking of taking the plunge this week?!
  12. Am I right in thinking that propecia doesn't block all DHT?
  13. Doesn't it effect Testosterone levels?
  14. What should be the effects of taking propecia and weight training? I'm tryin to bulk up. Thanks in advance.
  15. Thanks guys! I know this topic has probably being done b million times but you know where I'm coming from!
  16. So, I went to my doctor here in the UK to ask for propecia. He said he'd give it to me but asked me if I was aware of the side effects! I've done a lot of reading on here so I was well aware of the potential side effects but the way he made out I would definitely loose sex drive and get man boobs?!
  17. I've not been on the forum for a few months for one reason or another. Has there been any developments on the best place to get finisteride from in the UK?
  18. Well said! I nearly didn't take the tablets the doctor gave me when I ended up with shingles because of the POSSIBLE side effects, and guess what, I had none of them!
  19. Great to hear the update. I wouldn't expect results straight away, thing how long it took to fall out inthe first place? Are you taking half each day? I'd probably put them in the suitcase but you shouldn't have any problems.
  20. Thanks for the reply, it was more the question of using it once a day rather than the twice a day it suggests. I only use it at night.
  21. I've got some Rogaine foam which I've been using for 3 months once a day. I know nobody can say for definite but should it still work but just take a bit longer?
