  1. Yeah, read the potential side effect of anti viral tablets you get given for things like shingles. Not nice but I had none. Sadly, like most things in life, people are all to quick to shout when something is wrong but don't shout out when something goes good.
  2. Yes, he completely changed his tune once I said what I was doing. He didn't even ask what type of medication.
  3. I just thought I'd post a 'heads up' about my experience of ziering medical in the UK for anybody considering using them. I filled out an enquiry for and a few days later received a call. Between this time I'd read lots on this site. When I spoke to theguy on the phone he tried to book me in for a consultation. But when I told him I was going to try medication first he lost interest. He said he would call back but at around 6 months now, I've had no call back since. Take your money and run springs to mind!
  4. It's the same ingredient isn't it so why would you shead again?
  5. Good to see some positive comments for a change!
  6. 6 weeks in and I'm definitely seeing some normal hairs regrowing in the temple frontal area. Not masses, but certainly promising!
  7. Keep us posted. I know it will be difficult but try not to think about it too much!
  8. It was just my first bottle to give it a shot. Don't they charge quite a bit for shipping?
  9. You'll need to keep on taking finisteride mate or you'll be forever chasing the dream and have to have hair transplant after hair transplant. take it for at least a year so it stablises and then consider filling in the gaps.
  10. I've been using it every 3 days and all seems ok. That is the 2% version.
  11. I'm sure everything will be ok. It wouldn't have been used for the past 20 years in the 5 mg form for men with prostate problems and past 15 years for hair loss if it was that bad. Keep us updated.
  12. Dr Farjo is recommend on this site and he has places in London and Manchester.
  13. This is very true, it's seen in life in general, people are all to keen to shout out when somethings wrong but keep quiet when something good happens or they get good service etc
  14. If you do shed that can only be a good sign and from the pictures you probably wouldn't notice it anyway. It's only the weaker hairs that were already on there way out that shed and then they come back stronger.
  15. Yeah I didn't find it foamed up either. I'm going to use it every 3 days so it doesn't dry out my hair. Let us know how the order goes if your ordering from the UK finisteride.info site
  16. Yes started last week. Others on here say to leave it on for about 5 minutes.
  17. Yes I do. There have been 2 studies I've seen, one reports bad defects in 2% and a recent Japanese study where it was 0.7%. You must remember they prescribe the exact same drug but 5 times stronger to men with prostate problems and there hasn't been too much fuss over that. I've also read that there have been bias studies done.
  18. It stops once it's been out of your system for a few days. Women aren't supposed to handle the tablets at all.
  19. That's unlucky. One of my friends is the exact opposite, he has his hair and his father has none. I've not used propecia yet but I plan to after we have our next child. I've read there is a very small chance it can cause birth defects in babies so I don't want to take even the slightest chance on that one! My father is a norwood 7 so I'll be on the propecia ASAP after to keep what I have! He is actually seeing some hair regrowth at the age of 70 as he is on finisteride for his prostate. It's never going to regrow it all but it just goes to show it works!
