Senior Member uncjim Posted March 15, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted March 15, 2011 Drew, Your post reads....Am I unhappy, no....not... I am unhappy. So it was indeed worth a second read for me and what I get for reading late at night with eyes blurred. That makes me feel better about your situation. Anyway, enough of me for now. Keep up the good fight and I will be watching. Jim "Temples 'n Crowns Forever" Uncjim's Hair Loss WebLog
Senior Member Drew35 Posted March 16, 2011 Author Senior Member Share Posted March 16, 2011 Jim, I agree, I don't think this was a case of poor yield, nor was it a case of doctor/tech error. I do question whether or not, given the patient's donor characteristics and high NW number, he had reasonable expectations, and if the clinic promised him something they couldn't possibly deliver on. That being said, I'm going to stop posting on Drew's thread as he is moving on.... take care! hairthere, My expectations were a very thin crown, but more density in the frontal region. - 1st Transplant: 5,485 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 2nd Transplant: 3,100 grafts with Dr Jerry Wong 3rd Transplant: 5,035 grafts with Dr Sanusi Umar My Hair Loss Website - Hair Transplant with Dr. Wong

Senior Member HARIRI Posted May 16, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted May 16, 2011 (edited) Drew, your Dr. Umar post op picturs looks promising I hope you grow well. But your pre OP photos before Umar surgery are terrible. I checked your hair loss website, seems like your 1st was ok, but something went wrong with the 2nd. I dont know why. Seriously, when i checked your latest pre op photos before Umar surgery (Post #9), you never looked like a guy who did 8000 grafts. That was so disappointing and bad looking. Honestly speaking. However I wish from God, that you will grow well this time, Dr. Umar is a great FUE doctor. Wish you all the best buddy. I think i seen a picture at 12 months post op ht 2 but you had cut your hair short making the picture useless for the result. Bonkerstonker! http://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/blog/home-page.asp?WebID=1977 Update I'm now on 12200 Grafts, hair loss has been a thing of my past for years. Senior Member HARIRI Posted August 27, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted August 27, 2011 I still cant believe that this guy did 8585 grafts with Dr. Wong? What happened really? Its as if nothin grown out and maybe less than 50% yield for this amount!!! Can anyone from H&W tell us what happened really? I have been wondering about this for months now. How can you say it's as if nothing grew out when there's no pictures 1 year post op of Wong Ht 2 with the hair grown out? Obviously If you cut Anyones Ht right down it wouldn't look good as it's all illusion of density. I wish he had photos of his Wong Ht 2 12 month result without cutting all his hair off. Senior Member corvettester Posted August 29, 2011 Senior Member Share Posted August 29, 2011 (edited) Hey Drew, Thanks for keeping us updated. There are a lot of us here that are following your case. It's looking promising and I really hope that it turns out well for you. Not only your particular HT case, but also your personal story is one of the more memorable on the HTN. I do have one question though, do you have any pre-op photos from after your second procedure with Dr. Wong, but before your third procedure with Dr. Umar? I ask because I'd like to see where you're starting from with this procedure. Also, because if I understand correctly, you already had 8,585 grafts transplanted by Dr. Wong, which I'd assume can give even a NW7 pretty decent coverage. Good luck to you.
