  1. Hey guys - Just had a HT with Dr. Wong. We did 3000+ grafts and everything went well; i will be posting pictures pretty soon once I recover. I do have a question for those who had a strip procesure and doc used staples to close the donor area. The toughest part for me is to get sleep with staples in my head. I find it extremely difficult to get sleep without putting pressure on the donor area. How did you guys dealt with it? I know the instructions say don't put pressure on grafted area, but what about the donor area? Is there a harm if you put pressure on the donor area other than it hurts like hell? Does it lead to more shockloss in the donor area? Thanks!
  2. I saw the video, but I am curious what it looks like buzzed... and it seems like he buzzed his hair down for the 3rd procedure.
  3. Hey Bob- If you don't mind, you think you can show a picure of top and back with buzzed hair? I am just curious what your crown looks like buzzed with 3k grafts. Only if you don't mind tho.. Thanks, KG
  4. Bob - You hairy beast!!!! Temples look awesome... I think that was the only missing piece.. 671 grafts --- Is that all you could get, or is that's all you went for? KG
  5. Hey guys - Need an opinion here... Anybody here uses Rogaine 5% (regular liquid) just once a day? if so, was it effective? I think I want to start using it, but can't use it in the morn because of the greasiness, so I plan to use it just at night... anybody with similar experience?/ opinion? Thanks, KG

  7. Hey guys - Got a question for you. I had been on propecia for about 6-7 years, and finally made a switch to proscar to save some money. I have been using proscar for about 2.5 months now, and I think I am shedding lot more hair now since I switched and I am thinking about switching back to Propecia. Any similar cases with you guys? Any comments? KG

  9. Looking awesome for Norwood 6. That would be amazing if you get one more FUT. But if you're looking for more density, you should definitely look into FUE. Why do ou think FUE won't give you natural result?
  10. Well it looks pretty good and dense. Happy growing!
  11. Looks neat. What was the reason you chose Dr. Rahal over Dr. Hasson and Dr. Armani?
  12. Looking good Jagdish... I think this should it for you.
  13. I too switched from propecia to proscar about 2.5 months ago. I also had increased shedding, but I could not figure out that if that was from switch to proscar or from the rogaine foam that I had stopped during the switch to proscar.
  14. JW - Only thing that truly helps your stablize your hair loss is Propecia/Proscar. Everything else is CRAP! Nizoral 2% might be somewhat helpful. Try Propecia for one year. If you get side effects, then quit. Side effects are reversible.
  15. I'm sure if I stayed on minox for longer, all the shedded hair would have grown into thicker hair.. But after using the foam, I don't think I can stay on it for life. I can't see committ myself to it for life.. and from what i have read/heard/experienced, if you ever stop it in your life, you will end up looking much much worse than what you had started with... so I don't wanna have that monkey on my back. So what I am concerd about is that the hair that i shedded in 3 weeks DUE TO foam, will it grow back? Anyway, it's just your opinion and I appreciate it.
  16. Stay away from Rogaine. Get on propecia asap and stay on it for one year before you come to any conclusion of it's effectiveness. Although once you get on it, you must stay on it for the rest of your life or it's effectiveness won't last. After a year if your hairloss still bothers you, then consider hair transplant. Also, if your hairloss is limited to small areas, I would strong recommend getting FUE hairtrasplant not the traditional Strip hairtransplant.. It would be more expensive, but you won't have to deal with long strip scar for the rest of yr life.
  17. I understand... I don't think I paying more attention than I used to. But I just see too much hair laying around, which catches my attention.. Every time I put hand in my hair, hairs come out... While I am working at my work desk, I see couple of hairs laying around thru out the day... anyway, I'll see how it goes in coming weeks.. I don't think I want to switch to avadart just yet.. I am gonna stick with proscar 1/4 pill... Anybody out there considering rogaine (foam), be careful! It's a very dangerous drug and annoying to use; it definitely accelerated my hair loss.. Just stick with finastride..
  18. I hate using minox, and I am not going back to it. As for the shedding, I understand what you're saying, but I am experiencing more daily shed than I did before I went on foam. And it's been 5 months since I stopped so I don't understand why I would continue to shed at that rate + I was hoping that the shedded hair duing 4 weeks of use would come back upon stopping the foam. Neither has happened, and as a result my hair looks much much thinner than before I started using it. I also use Nizoral 2% twice a week + 1.25 mg proscar.
  19. You're the man Hairbank!!! I have seen/read your posts for very long time. In fact we both went to Dr. Wong around same time last year. Good luck on your next procedure with Dr. Wong. Keep us posted with more amazing photos. KG
  20. Hey guys - Lot of you might remember me. I used to be regular here, then got pretty busy with everything going on.. I try to check out the new updates on this forum whenever i get chance.. Anyway, I got a questions and some of you with lot of experience might be able to help me figure out what's going on with me. So I started using Rogaine foam about 5 months ago, and I used to for 3-4 weeks. I shedded a lot of hair, and I found it very inconvinient to continue using it for life so I stopped hoping that all the shedded hair in 4 weeks will grow back. Well it's been over 5 months now and I have noticed that I shed more hair than I used to before I started using the foam... I have lot less hair count now than I had before foam... And none of the shedded hair has grown back... I am trying to figure out what has happened and how I can stop the shed and reverse the situation. I also switched from propecia (1 mg/day) to proscar (1.25/day)about two months ago, but I don't think that has anything to do with the shed. I shed so much hair now that every time I run my fingers thru my hair, 1 to 3 hairs come out. Everytime I comb my hair, few hair falls. Every morning when I take shower I see lot of hait going thru the drain. Any similar situations? any advice/suggestions? KG

  22. What's going on guys?? Just wanted opinion here. Any of you use Rogaine foam? If so, how long have you been using for? Any results (good/bad)? How bad was the shedding phase? KG

  24. Look good! Good luck with your 3rd procedure. Another 3-4K grafts would do it. KG
  25. Thanks guys. I was under the same impression. Although I have following users for rogaine users or anybody with experience on this forum: 1) Do you guys use Rogaine all over the head or just in the crown as it suggests? 2) If you use it only in the crown, does it still increase the blood flow in other parts of the scalp? 3) For the long time rogaine users, does rogaine ever start fading like propecia does? Thanks, KG
