  1. I am 19 weeks from my first HT to cover the crown. The growth has been very slow. Does anybody know if working out/running or eating healthy food helps growth come in faster? Does anybody recommend any other activity to speed up the growth other use of Rogaine? KG
  2. Hello All, This is KG. I am 24 yrs old male. I want to share my hair loss experience and get your feedback. I started losing hair at 19-20 years of age. when I was about 20-21, I started using propecia which helped me stop my hair loss. My hair loss has been stable past 2-3 yrs. My major concern was crown since it had very visible hair loss. I have some thinning in front and midscalp, but it's not visible and i have really good hairline. So my major concern was to recover crown. I consulted with top notch HT surgeons and they all suggested that since my hair loss is stable, I can recover my crown. I had a HT with a top-notch sugeon and had 1500 grafts. I am curious if there're lot of young guys like me who had HT at such a young age, and what was the experience like? I would appreciate your comments and suggestions. KG

  5. Pat, Thanks for the reply. I am trying to have patience and hoping things will really take off soon. What is prothik spray? I have never heard of that before. I have used dermatch, but I am not using it now since my new grafts are coming in and I am afraid the dermatch will affect my new grafts. After the surgery, you're supposed to have all the new grafts fallen out in 2-3 weeks. I had some of new grafts remained on my crown. And those grafts are still there, those grafts are not growing with the new hair. Should I be concerned about that? Also do you have any pictures you can share with me? I just want to get an idea of how your crown looks like after 6 months. How many grafts did you have on crown? Thanks in advance for your advise. Thanks
  6. I had HT with Dr. Keene about 4 months ago to cover the crown. The new hair growth process has been very slow. Can you please share your experience with me. At what point after the surgery, the presence of full head of hair was felt. I have seen pictures of other patients. Some of them had good converage around month 5. Some had earlier, some had later. At what point, the new growth really starts kicking in? Also if you are Dr. Keene patient or had HT done to cover crown, please share your pictures. Thanks.
