  1. Sorry mate, totally missed this Congratulations on your third session. Sounds more or less identical to mine last month(must get graft count),in fact looking at your situation from the beginning we were more or less in the same boat apart from the first one. Good growing to you and looking forward to this time next year for the both of us.
  2. I have also noticed i have developed this retrograde alopecia since my first HT in 05 As if we havent got enough problems going on top! Does Minox really help if applied in the neck area? Also buzzed my hair no 8 last night(1 inch) thinking i would be safe, but no i have shockloss at donor site too(3 weeks +) Oh well cap stays on for a couple more weeks.
  3. Nice start and this will look fantastic with a second session Arron is SPF the scalp pigmentation thing?Looks promising,Mick what are your or dr F's views on it?
  4. A stonking result!!! I hope my hairline looks something like this in a year or so.
  5. Nice Post Brian. I myself noticed a fair bit coming away 1 week post op(no 3),I put this down to lack of minoxidil for over a week and trauma. Seems to have stopped now though(2 weeks+ post op).
  6. Apart from the one above i havent taken any and theres not much to see at over two weeks post op. Also apart from the slightly lowered hairline and temples the majority was planted in amongst exsisting hair,so not much to see. I'm waiting on Mick to send some pics taken on the day but as you can appreciate he's a busy man. In a few weeks when i'm certain all the transplanted hair has gone i will try to take some high quality pics to put up for comparison at the 6/8/10 and 12 month mark.
  7. Just had my staples taken out by my sister,HOORAY! Proper nights sleep here i come. Scar looks excellent apparently.
  8. Amen to that brother, but unless they find a total reversal i can see us on here for the foreseeable future:D Grow well.
  9. No problemo David. Lets see if i can hit 2000.
  10. A little harsh BS. I think if he had kept quiet of course every one would have known. but the fact this young man said "yeah i've had a HT,so what?"has smashed a lot of stigma attached to hair restoration. I think a year ago HT to the majority was no different to wearing a toupe and no one must know. Now thanks to Rooney,Nesbitt,Bryden etc in 5 years it will be know more embarrasing than admitting you got your teeth fixed.
  11. just looked at your blog,v impressed! The second pass really finished it off nicely, congrats to you and well done to the doc.
  12. OK your perogative, but by coming on here naming a DR/Clinic and hinting on having a bad experience but not backing up with info/pics could be seen as underhand tactics by a rival clinic for example. Not insinuating that for a second but this sort of thing does go on in this industry. For the record i have never heard a good review of said clinic.
  13. Thats the whole point of the site mate,to give honest and transparent experiences from a patients point of view. That way prospective patients can make decisions based on what infomation they can gather on here and sites like this.
  14. AND HERE IT IS ! NUUUUUUMBEEEEEER ONE THOOOOOOOOUSAND!!!! Cheers Bill.
  15. LOL! I was just searching through my old posts looking for earlier pics of my other HT's. I had to laugh, a lot of arguements in them days(and a lot of language...sorry) Also a lot of old names came flooding back,Thana,Hairbank,Bringing it Back etc, where'd they all go? Most i hope are happy with their hair and getting on with life. Great to see a lot of new guys have grabbbed the baton and run with it and even better to see some old veterans still contributing good advice on a daily basis. Keep up the good work everyone:cool: BTW just realised my next post will be my 1000th...I expect a fanfare Falc!
  16. Just a quick pic of the new lowered hairline straight out of the shower.(sorry about the quality,I-Phone)
  17. Mick keep calm on that mountain bike of yours! Result looks nice, look forward to a full set.
  18. I watched the programme and was far from impressed from a HT point of view. The lack of microscope use for a start was a red flag, the two guys who had proceedures didn't seem to be properly informed and we never got to see the final results. Stick to Doctors recommended on here, all have proven results and pictures and all use microscopes for dissection. Spend half an hour on here a night for several months and you shouldn't go wrong. Good luck.
  19. Why cant i link to The Emperors results? i've just read 8 pages and cant see what the topic is based on.
  20. Great advice from Spex there Birchy, who knows? 12 months on the meds and you could be one of the lucky few who responds well and regrows!! In the mean time educate yourself on everything HT related and keep us posted.
  21. Thankyou Donald, how you coming along? Day 3. The donor area is pretty tender now(it reminds me everytime i lean back on a chair and sleeping is uncomfortable),but recipient is fine and the little spikes have grown a little. Very nice feeling gently patting the top of your head and feeling thousands of new hairs in amongst the old. Keep getting the wierd"spider crawling on your scalp" sensation, funny i seem to recall that came later after the shed when the hair began to regrow? My little girl was admitted to hospital yesterday so i have been there for two days and i have been sanitising my hands like a lunatic and making sure i dont lean back on chairs etc. I Think Mick has pictures of the proceedure and will no doubt put them up when he gets a minute.
